Pga.

Smiley

Really great exchange! Signed up and sent my documents -> 2 days later my account was verified.
Sent some bitcoins, exchanged them to EUR -> 1 day later I got an email, that they sent the money from their bank account. Another day later, the money was in my bank account.

Really fast, thats the way I like to do business! Wink
Keep up the good work!

Btw. I have registered with MTGox early in december, last week my account was verified but now they have to verify again, because I added a bank account...
That's why i searched another exchange and I am quite happy I did!

Thank you very much for the kind words. We are working hard to deliver an easy service without uncertainty and delays. Smiley

What is the procedure for opening a company account? I am planning on renting servers for bitcoin but do not want to proceed until I know it be actually possible to convert bitcoin to euro (Sepa withdrawal) since thats what I have to pay supplies with (electricity, collocation, bandwidth etc)

I opened an account on Mt Gox but support is unresponsive and there are horror stories of withdrawals being stuck in limbo and not happening, bitstamp seems to be going down same road,
so here is hoping that small exchange might have responsive support Smiley

Hi there, sorry for the delay. Have you tried contacting our support team on-site? I am sure we will be able to figure out something suitable for your case. Smiley

You are welcome to do exactly this on Justcoin. Easy signup and no verification required for depositing and exchanging BTC to USD (or EUR).

Note that you will be requested to verify your ID if you wish to withdraw the USD to your bank account. Verification is fast and usually completed in less than 24 hours.

“Maker-taker” is a system whereby those posting multiple buy/sell offers and increase liquidity in the market (“makers”) are paid a fee, whereas those who take the offers and remove market liquidity (the “takers”) are charged a fee.

http://www.coindesk.com/btc-china-bitcoin-volume-bounces-back/

Smiley

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking about that it's a lot smaller volumes on the norwegian site. But can I expect that it fills in 3-4 days?

It is not possible to give any definite answer to such questions as it depends on several independent factors. Remember that you may always cancel an unfilled order if you want to reset the price.

I would also recommend as akaman pointed out to contact our support team through the on-site support system. It is easier to follow up users this way and we would also like to keep this thread as a channel to tell about new features and receive feedback on these. Smiley

Interesting, I had no idea. I assume Justcoin is guilty of some of the delay. Can Andreas or Klaus comment on this? But, I will test the my banking delay directly by performing a domestic SEPA transfer to/from accounts I control. That should give me an idea of the actual SEPA related latency only.

I would like to emphasize that minimizing these banking delays is important to anyone trading in bitcoins.

Minimizing delays is important, and therefore we always credit users once payments are recorded/booked (bokført) in our account. Payments are recorded primarily in two different batches. One around 15.30 Norwegian time (solely payments from customers using DNB) and one batch in the morning including all other payments.

It should be noted that a major part of the delay is the time our bank uses to record/book our accounts. We do actually receive the payments up to a day before they are recorded. The reason we cannot credit users before payments are recorded is because of incomplete information about the sender (no name or reference number...) and a higher possibility of chargebacks.

Bottom line is that Justcoin does not cause any additional delays in this process, and we see huge differences in transaction times depending on which banks and countries payments are sent from.

Takk for støtten!

Wink

I did a withdraw on Monday of this week, 1 December 2013, and I still didn't received the amount on my Bank account (SEPA wire transfer)

Yesterday I sent a message to the customer service asking the number of the wire transfer transaction but I still didn't received any answer.

The withdraw on the website is registered as completed 5 days ago.

Did someone had experience about withdrawal with this website ?

How long it takes usually ?

SEPA withdrawals usually process in about 2 days. But in some cases sending or receivers bank may delay the transfer of unknown reasons, causing it to take up to 4 days. It is difficult to assist you individually without more details, please allow our support team to assist you (though I suspect you by now have already received the payment and assistance from support Smiley).

Would love it if Justcoin was added.

Mainly interested in BTC/NOK

They also have BTC/EUR, BTC/USD, BTC/LTC and BTC/XRP
I just checked justcoin, but I even cannot finish the registration.
Tried register twice and finally get active mail. and then try active with cellphone, but no code received. Now it is failed to login, try recover password and it shows only activated user can reset password.

Please send me a mail at klaus@justcoin.com and I will solve this immediately. Some users were not able to receive the text message for account verification. Therefore, we switched from Tropo to Twilio as provider of this service two days ago. Should work seamless now.

I have been wanting to get Justcoin featured at bitcoinwisdom.com since it was released! :)

Re: Good news regarding Bitcoin and VAT in Sweden
by
klausbl
on 22/10/2013, 09:35:51 UTC
First of all, they state that exchanging between regular currency and Bitcoin does not imply consumtion, i.e. Bitcoin is not treated as a good or a service, so there is no VAT on bitcoins themselves. With regards to VAT it is treated as any other currency.

Second of all, they reach the decision that the service that I provide is also excempt from VAT, i.e. there should be no VAT added to the commission that I would take.

I only have it on paper right now but the ruling will be public on the homepage of Skatträttsnämnden, hopefully later this week.

Great work and great news! As you might have read in the Scandinavian sub-forum we (Justcoin) received a similar answer from the Norwegian tax agency in August, followed by a withdrawal of their statement earlier this month. Both the original statement concluding trading in Bitcoin is exempt taxation and the withdrawal of this statement can be found here.

I am interested in getting in touch with you and possibly receive a copy of the documentation you have received from Skatterattsnamnden? It could be highly useful as a precedent when speaking to the Norwegian tax agency. My mail is klaus@justcoin.com.

100 mil er litt langt å reise for å lese eit brev.  50 mil kvar veg for min del.

I am happy to see Norway has got its first Bitcoin-Exchange with a real trading-engine, as direct user-to-user transactions like on localbitcoin are kinda
predisposed to fraud.

The registration works well, and the website looks tidy and clean.
Although I would defnitly recommend a proper ID and adress verification like on Mt. Gox or Bitstamp, to prevent scam and money laundering.
Otherwise you can get into real problems like it happened to Bitcoin-24.
Thank you for your interest and kind words! We definitely don't want to wind up like Bitcoin-24 and are actively trying to comply with (mostly non-existent) regulation.

Our ID and address verification is different for Norwegian and foreign customers:
  • Norwegians are verified by depositing a NOK-amount of any size to their Justcoin account. This deposit must be transferred from an account registered with the same name and address as the user have registered with at Justcoin, in other words from their own account. We have chosen this method of verification because we don't want to collect more sensitive/personal documents than necessary. To obtain a verified Justcoin-account under false name or similar you would actually need to create or control a Norwegian bank account with false (or somebody else's) credentials. You can say that for our Norwegian customers we have forwarded the identification verification to the customers bank.
  • For non-Norwegians we use standard (proper?) ID and address verification which means we collect identification papers and a utility bill. We make sure all such documents are deleted after verifying the accounts as we don't want to store sensitive information.

Do I get it right, that you handle both, Euro and NOK deposits over a norwegian Bank Account?
Yes.  Smiley

The orderbook looks empty to me, is this a bug or just the status quo?
Although the orderbook is not overflowing, it is certainly not empty. Please send me a message through our support-system at Justcoin and i will take a look at this.
