Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping

Factom does care about FCT investors. Evidenced by the CEO Paul Snow and another member coming out and posting on these forums  in response to all of this  on a Saturday.  IMO I wouldn't  doubt as they discuss this,   they will be putting out more by- monthly  general updates to keep everyone abreast and combat this type of minuplation.
Of course they care. But usually they don't speak much about the market and they don't make marketing for the market - but they deliver. I've always seen exactly that as indication of professionalism, because I don't trust teams who show clear intentions to hype the price. But it's good that they cleared things up today for those who maybe really were concerned because of the intensity.

if factom devs do not fix the problem by tonight I'll open a thread in the scam accusation.
but hope they fix it!
You threaten legit projects who are trying their best to deliver to open Scam Accusations threads if they don't fix your issues.
To be honest never seen this before, maybe a couple of times but do you think this is the right way of dealing with issues?
We owe an apology for being so impulsive, to understand people get stressed when dealing with coins, money and related delays but you don't give yourself any favour by acting like this.
Then as soon as you find a way around it you are all smiles...

I'm not blaming you for anything just want to point out your attitude to other community members, please change that it will go a long way for everyone else.

Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?
by

on 05/11/2016, 04:01:08 UTC
Right now there is no such thing the can challange the banks.  Their monopoly is just to strong.
Perhpas if some big wall street firms step in with bitcoin venture we can see this happeningMany people need some normal banks. Some people doesnt even know what Bitcoin is.
So how it is possible to make the banks disappear. First we must introduce Bitcoin to them and that it is maybe possible later in the future. Do you think so ?

We will still need banks as not everyone will use Bitcoin. We are already seeing banks for Bitcoin. If anything banks as we know them may have to move with the times and start bitcoin accounts. At the end of the day banks make money of our money they will want to try making money from bitcoin too. Both can run because none of them influence the other in any manner.

Do you ever ask why not use something that can make your life easier and better ? And if you can earn from it even better.    People are unaware of bitcoin because they don't have much time for investigating and reading and work, work for money, debt to
modern slaves .

I think the financial system of the bitcoin currency is different from the bank so that the decentralized and bank is centralized .we keep our bitcoin in wallet system ,but we still need bank to change the currency bitcoin into fiat and it's can take in real money by atm .
we can invest bitcoin like we invest in bank and it's very advantages because bitcoin always rise.bit coin can transferred to another wallet and it's has a low low fee

Bitcoin didn't has a tax ,because although the government take tax from bitcoin but bitcoin can used anonimously , so the government can't trace history of bitcoin .so they can't do anything. I think we do not have to worry.

Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries?

I do believe those people which live at poor countries they can improve their life with bitcoin, besides that one thing is sure everyone that does use bitcoin, earning it online may change their life and who knows if they do make a project to help bitcoin and support it.

Bitcoin can be a sideline for those who have a full time job, however it can also be a full time if you can earn decent from it like being payed from your skills online, and this way it can help a poor country with lack of opportunities for its people to find job.
I think only those people who provide the gadgets and internet which is the basic requirements of bitcoin to access the sites but i think it can not help poor countries it will start always on the people who have the basic requirements and their willingness.
People of poor country still need an infrastructure to get in bitcoin. I think atleast their need internet connection and smartphone to earn bitcoin. Becouse bitcoin is so digital. But I am agree that bitcoin can help poor country by help the people to fulfil their daily need with bitcoin although they have to convert it into fuat fisrt.

Re: Do people really make millions of $ transactions?
by
klopcoin
on 28/10/2016, 05:26:26 UTC
Some of those transactions are belong to big companies. Believe it or not, not everybody on the internet are average Joe's like you (or maybe me) There are also many rich people who adapted bitcoin in early phase. There are also many drug dealers/shady business owners and money launderers who use bitcoin.

I believe that there would always be millions of transactions weekly with bitcoins especially in those exchange websites. And they are not just single individuals but big groups that are considered as whales in the economy of bitcoin. Many of them also are occurs in the deep web and other type of dark marketplaces.
Yes I am agree. It already more than one million of $ transaction in bitcoin. The transaction is for good, altcoin and event drug. But I do not like if bitcoin is used for drug. I'd like to use bitcoin to buy good thing although I have to convert it into fiat first.

Re: What to do with Bitcoin?
by

on 27/10/2016, 02:41:30 UTC
For me if you want a long term earning, i suggest that you keep your bitcoin and wait for the price to increase. Which will require you to have a lot more of patience. But if you want short term, then maybe you may engage your self in trading. But make sure to invest only what you can afford to lose. Since trading requires  experience and analysis on how you will be able to gain in th unpredictable market.
Yes trading without any knowledge and experience just such as gambling so we just guess the price will rise or fall. So better we keep our bitcoin or spent it for our daily need. Do not take a step before we know what will happen next.

Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets?
by
klopcoin
on 24/10/2016, 05:27:18 UTC
they usually use it in order to get some privacy, i think it is the best way to do that
You should make use of multiple bitcoin wallets because then you know tat if you lose one that it is not ever for you because you still have bitcoin left.
Always make use of multiple wallets because you will regret it if you lose it all.
The arguments are correct, just do not believe in their functionality.
Yes I am agree, also I think use multiple wallet is for security too. It is make you not loose all of youre money if someone hack your wallet account. Also we can compare which wallet is the best to use. That is my oppinion.

Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children?
by
klopcoin
on 23/10/2016, 01:47:05 UTC
Bitcoin is a long term project. Therefore it makes sense to save small parts over a long horizon. Do you save Bitcoins for your (grand) child or children?

For those who do not have (grand) children (yet), would you save Bitcoin for them if you would have (grand) children?

Just build up your wealth, and forget about your descendants.

And after you are rich, you can now thing about giving money to your family, but this should not be your goal. Help yourself first, and then comes the others.
Yes I am agree. We can not help anyone if we can not help our self  first. We can earn earn and earn bitcoin as much as we can then use the half of it for our self and the other half for our children and grand children. Grand children will get bugger benefits than children.

Re: When is Bitcoins going to die?
by
klopcoin
on 23/10/2016, 01:29:15 UTC
I think that bitcoin never will be die
Because bitcoin become more stronger than ever. It's a good virtual currency for making trade and for shopping online.
What do you think that the lion that strong can not die? I think certainly the lion could die even if he's strong.
I think there are a lot of possibilities that can make bitcoin stop running. such as world wars, there was no internet connection in the world, and so forth?
bitcoin could die for some reasons IMO

I am agree that bitcoin can not die, I thrust that bitcoin will life forever. It is thecnology is very very ingenoius. I am sure that bitcoin is very very usefull in  the future. If world war happen bitcoin is needed to transferring money with anonimity so the goverment or the enemy cannot stop our economy activity.
