Re: Cardano, Cardano, Cardano...why!!
by

on 09/03/2019, 16:23:01 UTC
So during the 2017 run, I got sucked into Cardano. My friend bought at ICO. I bought 10,000 over the course of 2018. Than finally I woke up one day and said...why do I like Cardano? Why does anyone like Cardano?

I swapped my 10,000ADA for Binancs coin, because at least Binance Coin has a utility. Binance is the biggest exchange, they are launching their DEX, and BNB is  their token. It has a function.

I’m considering using some BTC to get back my 10,000 ADA. But I’m not really sure why?

Can someone tell me why I should give a shit about CARDANO???
IMHO, Cardano is a platform for decentralized applications and it is built on a system for smart contracts which allows for mathematical code verification. Also, it is the first blockchain forum that evolves itself out of the scientific philosophies and also the research-driven approach. It has a good market cap volume and supply and because it has a good backing by the crypto community, it might surge more with Coinbase exchange adoption consideration. Well, just my two cents on this. Better get going as I continue my research about the upcoming cryptoexchange platform named Bitrus. I find this project interesting since they want people to send remittances through their crypto exchange system.

Re: What is the best coin buy now?
by

I agree with your words so that it is good to buy coins. Because the prices of the coins have increased due to the purchase of coins, which then attracts the buyer's attention. As a result, everyone loves to buy coins and loves it. You can buy Bitcoin or ETH coins. These two coins are very good. You can buy a token again from which you can earn good profit.so everyone interested.
IMHO, ZEC is one of the best coin to invest with. Even if Zcash is predominantly new to the market, it has covered several grounds in such a short span. Its CEO is forward thinking and continuously plans for growth and expansion strategies. Good thing also that I'm currently at my research about the upcoming cryptocurrency exchange platform named Bitrus, which aims to send people's remittances through their exchange platform. At the moment, Zcash has around 21 million coins in transactions. Investment in Zcash is easy as you can enjoy a certain level of anonymity and can get the detailed report of the transactions you’ve carried out, hence making it one of the best cryptocurrencies to invest.

Zcash Price for today is $54.12. Its current circulating supply is ZEC 5,439,906 with a market cap of $294,381,422. You can convert ZEC to BTC at best rates from CoinSwitch. Just my two cents. Best of luck!

Re: STOs are really the future of ICOs?
by

on 09/03/2019, 03:34:01 UTC
Hello, I would like to ask you about STOs. It means that STO is regulated and has a license to run a token sale, am I correct? And all STOs are giving passive income to token holders or not?
I have heard about these two big STOs BoltonCoin and FABA and both STOs are suspected as a scam, have you heard about that?
And my last question how something that is regulated could be a scam..?  Roll Eyes

Thanks!

Good point. The idea of Faba is to create a collective venture fund. Kind of, we chip in Ethereum and buy Faba tokens. And the founders of the project withdrawal ETH in Fiat and invest in other startups.  And here is the reality. At the moment, the guys assure that they have invested in six projects: Hooba foods, vuje, my father's hair, for long life, moolyacoin and cargocoin.  Two of them are ICO, the third sells Nutra, the fourth – shrooms, the fifth – medication for baldness, the sixth produces hydrogen and renewable resources. The amount of investment is unknown. But it is unlikely large. After all, the next Faba sale will begin this March and the founders have no idea how much money they will collect. Otherwise, they wouldn’t write Soft Cap of 4 million bucks. By the way, how do you like the abyss in 63.5 million between goals? They are so experienced strategists that they are trying to shot in the dark. Just my two cents. Better get going as I resume my live poker sessions. Best of luck!

Hi Guys,
Which project you feel is heavily undervalued under 200 in CMC with a working product with active development.

Honestly MetaCash is one of the most solid investments right now. Basically the initial supply of 1.5Mil is being distributed over 10 months to holders. Currently under 200 000 coins in existence. Buy now and have loads more in a years time. But loads more of a very low supply coin (1.5 mil premine 30 mil total supply with 120% POS EVERY YEAR (Estimated 8 years till max is reached. The numbers are incredible and devs are working hard on an amitious road map. Solid winner, low risk, high potential. Got to go now as I resume my research about the upcoming crypto exchange platform named Bitrus, which aims to bring remittance operation to their system. Best of luck!

Re: What made BNB rise to near 0.004 BTC mark?
by
laurencef34
on 08/03/2019, 16:56:27 UTC
Why is it that BNB (Binance coin) went up so quick?
Was it the token burn or something else? BNB looks one or the most promising investments even at current price and I think that it has the potential to be worth more than $100 one day soon. I want to know what were the fundamentals that took it so high in just a few days. More than 2x in just a few days shows how much faith everyone has in this coin.
Binance Coin [BNB] continued its bullish swing by overtaking TRON [TRX], in terms of market capitalization. The coin is now placed ninth on CoinMarketCap, three spots higher than its position a month ago. Good thing also that I'm currently in my research about the upcoming cryptoexchange platform named Bitrus, which aims to operate remittances through their system. Anyway, Binance Coin was once again, one of the biggest gainers in the top 10, gaining against the US dollar by a mere 0.43 percent. It was trading at $11.02, a massive 66.96 percent price increase compared to its price a month ago, which stood at $6.60. At press time, the coin’s total market cap was at $1.55 billion. Furthermore, if BNB’s bullish rise persists, Stellar Lumens [XLM] could also be trailing BNB as XLM is just $60 million ahead of a rising Binance Coin in terms of market cap. Binance took the top spot in terms of BNB trading volume via the BNB/USDT and BNB/BTC trading pairs, each accounting for 36.67 percent and 29.47 percent of the trading volume. Hopefully this surge of BNB will continue on...

Re: Is it possible to Send USDT without BTC as Miner Fee?

Is it possible to Send USDT without BTC as Miner Fee?

It is very troublesome when I wanted to send some USDT-omni to an exchange or my friends from my wallet, I was stuck because I found out it required me to pay some BTC as the miner fee. But I had NO BTC in my wallet! So I had to transfer a little amount of BTC to this wallet. This was very annoying and time-consuming.

I am asking if it is possible, technically, that I send USDT-omni out of my wallet without paying BTC as miner fee? Or is there any wallet already solved this problem that requires no BTC as miner fee?

IMHO, more and more people are using wallet to manage their USDT rather than keeping them in an exchange. However, if you are sending USDT via a wallet, you should be asked to pay some bitcoin as miner fee. This perhaps is a right timing also for me since I'm currently exploring a future cryptocurrency exchange platform named Bitrus. Anyway, USDT is a cryptocurrency asset issued on the Bitcoin blockchain via the Omni Layer Protocol(Use OP_RETURN in Bitcoin transaction to store USDT transaction information). Therefore, an USDT transaction is actually a bitcoin transaction. Consequently, it needs to pay a bit of bitcoin as the miner fee for an USDT transaction. Just my two cents  on this....

Re: 2019, A Challenging Year for Ethereum
by
laurencef34
on 08/03/2019, 10:33:19 UTC
Ethereum is still at its best, dominating the dapp market in 2018. It gains the highest active number of dapp users among others. Not just that, it’s leading the market also in terms of wallet holders and total number of dapps.

But despite of the stable growth, Ethereum may find 2019 a tough year to begin with. Aside from the less transaction it has compared to the others, its dapp users needs to maintain an ETH for the gass fee every transaction. This greatly affects the dapp users experience and full mass adoption of Ethereum Dapps.

This is something an Ethereum dapp must consider and/or think about this year.

Source: https://www.dapp.com/article/annual-dapp-market-report-2018?utm_content=Vale
I strongly agree and if I may add, IMHO, Ethereum is performing better than Bitcoin as stated by ConsenSys, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, smart contracts and ICOs. A couple of days back, Sparkpool, an Ethereum mining pool, received a payment of more than 2,000 ETH just for mining one blockEthereum recently launched its first pre-release of phase zero officially, in its transition to Ethereum 2.0 (Serenity). This is aimed at making Ethereum better and faster. The final completion date is set around sometime in 2021. Even Ethereum has come up with fastest and an ad-free blockchain explorer, EnjinX, which would definitely make ETH more accessible to the mainstream market. Good thing also that at the moment, I'm currently researching a good exchange platform named Bitrus which shall be available to us investors soon.

The Ethereum roadmap was divided into five major parts, with Byzantium and Constantinople being part of one phase called Metropolis, which is mentioned in the Ethereum roadmap for January 2019 This is a huge step in Ethereum's approach towards success. Anyway, Ethereum fork upgrade is also going to happen sometime in late February. Vitalik Buterin spoke about the future of Ethereum scaling at its TechCrunch Sessions Blockchain event in Switzerland’s “crypto valley” saying that the demand for using public blockchains is high and we need to up the stability in order to meet that demand.

Re: EOS or ETH
by
laurencef34
on 08/03/2019, 01:00:01 UTC
I have 3 ETH. I am determined to buy EOS. Should I hodl my ETH or buy EOS. Which one will be the best choice?
EOS seems to be the number one competitor of Ethereum if it fulfills its promises. There are 2 major differences between EOS and ETH, which are the main reasons why EOS seems more advantageous than Ethereum:

1. Processes made through EOS, applications created and every data published have the property of being readable by any people. Normally, all of the transaction logs published in Ethereum and many other cryptocurrencies are all data. To read them, you have to either know software language or use some kind of programs. The difference in EOS is that everything is described as normal words. What will be the benefit? Everything is readable by everyone; if there’s an error in your processes or in the process of creating an application, everyone involved in the community can notice it. They share it with you and you also have the ability to fix the error that you missed. This feature increases the number of people who can help you.

2. The second advantage of EOS is its transaction speed. As the number of users increased, Ethereum started to receive higher transaction fees from its users. In addition, the completion time of transactions extended. As the number of user increases, the number of data processed increases and it results in overloading the system. EOS says it will solve this. EOS is a crypto platform which supports decentralized applications(Dapps). It is designed to make it easier for developers to develop these Dapps. That’s why EOS is called the Ethereum killer since using EOS network is easier and different than Ethereum.

Just my two cents on this. Better get going as I continue my online poker session. Best of luck!

Almost all members in this forum talk about bull run, coins that are good for investment and so on.
now I have a number of coin assets that I got from several bounty projects last year. the amount is not small when compared to other bounty participants, but the coin coins among them no longer have a volume on the exchanger.
maybe even the coin will be a worthless coin.
my question is. if there is a bull run when Ethereum, Bitcoin, EOS, Stellar and all other coins are greatly increased, will some of my coins be worth again?
Will a bull run affect the price of my token?
IMHO, yes, in relation specifically to BTC and ETH, majority of our coins shall be affected depending on the rise of those two. Take for example XLM. This cryptocurrency was able to make developmental improvements, as well as partnership during those bear markets and has stand the best chance of survival. While it hasn't been blessed with a roadmap for 2019 yet, we can start to put the picture together already based on what it has accomplished throughout 2018. Stellar is similar to Ripple in a few ways, but 1 of the most prominent similarities moving into 2019 is their success in building partnerships with massive corporations, and what their plans for next year entail. Whenever BTCs were up, most probably, this coin shall eventually follow. Just my two cents. Better get going as I resume my online poker and blackjack games. Best of luck!

Wow! That's a big development for the land of the rising sun, as all crypto payments were just legalized 2 years ago! I believe that it will also boost Japan's tourism industry as well as the widespread use of cryptocurrencies in their day to day lives. This will be added for sure in our travel itineraries when we visit Japan early next year! In relation to crypto use for entertainment, I find my online poker and blackjack games really fun and exciting! Lots of blockchain team have developed blockchain and cryptocurrency for payment.

Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?

Will it be useful and convenience?

Which coin do you think the best for payment in the near future?
The best cryptocurrency to accept is the one your customers/clients like to transact business in. Know that payments in crypto currency is still a niche for the general public, so depending on the market that you sell to, you are still unlikely to have anyone pay you in cryptocurrency. My personal experience is that I have been setup to accept Bitcoin for close to 4 years, I deal with clients from all over the world and I have not yet received one single payment in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is still the most widely held and recognized cryptocurrency, so unless there is something unique about your customer base, go with that. Just my two cents on this. Ive never bought any coins before and am considering opening an account while the coins are low

How would you invest $1000 - 2000

Thanks
IMO, Ripple, also known as XRP, was one of the best performing cryptocurrencies in 2017 with growth of around 36,000%! Yes, you read that right. It grew from almost $0 at the beginning of 2017 and reached $2.4 in December 2017! Like all other cryptocurrencies, the price of Ripple has also decreased in 2018 — it is currently set at $0.36. I know what you’re thinking — you missed a great opportunity by not investing Ripple in early 2017. While that’s true, Ripple could still be a good option to consider as your next cryptocurrency to invest in 2019. Even though the price of one XRP is a lot lower than the price of one Bitcoin, XRP is still the third largest cryptocurrency by market cap. In May 2018, it had a total market cap of around $35 billion.
So, what is it about Ripple that has made it so popular for investors? The main reason for Ripple’s popularity is that it is not just a digital currency, but also a payment system. Ripple uses blockchain technology to make international payments securer and faster. Well, just my two cents on this. Got to go now as I resume my research about the latest real estate platforms. I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.
IMO, the price is still way below its previous all-time high and there is plenty of room for growth to the upside. Good thing that I'm also currently monitoring my live trading sessions. However, market conditions still remain uncertain and Ethereum is unlikely to make a move on its own without the blessing of Bitcoin. That being said, soon as the market recovers, we will be ready for the next altcoin season which will see ETH leading altcoins towards aggressive gains against BTC just like we have seen in the past. We have already seen that ETH has regained its second place (in terms of market cap) just before the beginning of the next altcoin rally. The number of new ICOs is still on the rise and a lot of startups are waiting to hold their ICOs soon as the market recovers. Just my two cents. Best of luck!

Re: Did Ripple pay Coinbase to get XRP listed?

Very interesting:

Quote
Rumors are circulating that California-based cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase, supposedly violated its very own listing policies in order to include XRP in its trading portfolio.

On February 25, Chepicap reported that according to the Coinbase blog, XRP will soon be available for trading on Coinbase Pro.

Read more: It is official! XRP is launching on Coinbase Pro

However, rumors are now circulating that claim that Coinbase Pro has breached its very own listing policies in order to include XRP in its trading portfolio.

According to Diar.co, before Coinbase takes the step to listing a new cryptocurrency asset, it takes in consideration the level of team ownership.

https://www.chepicap.com/en/news/7765/did-ripple-pay-coinbase-to-get-xrp-listed-.html

I'm not aware that XRP is not listed on their Coinbase Pro that's why I was surprised to read this news. It did pumped XRP around 10% though after the news. The argument is that Coinbase Pro takes into account the level of team ownership, which is very questionable since XRP holds around 60% of the supply. Coinbase as per "The ownership stake retained by the team is a minority stake.". What's your take on this? Did they violated their own policy here or did they accept a paid listing here? Share your thoughts.

Coinbase’s customer base is not the financial institutions, payment providers and businesses that use RippleNet and would need XRP. From that perspective, you can understand why Coinbase has not yet listed XRP. If individual consumers want XRP, it’s not because as consumers they are going to use XRP to buy something like with litecoin or bitcoin cash, or as a store of value like bitcoin. If individual consumers are buying XRP, they should be doing so because they believe XRP will be valuable to the financial institutions, payment providers, and businesses that eventually use XRP on RippleNet. Just my two cents on this. Better get going as I continue monitoring my live trading sessions. Best of luck!

Re: ICO IS ALIVE AND KICKING
by
laurencef34
on 07/03/2019, 05:37:18 UTC
I have taken part in many failed ICOs and few successful ones. After a series of failed ICOs owing to scam cases and insincere teams leading to heavy dump after listing and in turn blaming the bearish market, I have sometimes share in the sentiment of many projects who blame the bad market for their coin heavy dump, but two case study has shown that with a good team and the right strategy, their coin needs not dump to "hell-fire" as we are currently experiencing thereby discouraging investors.

Binance exchange have conducted two successful ICO/IEO on their launchpad, with both doing very well above the inertial offering. The first one is said to have lasted about 16mins and all sales was sold out. while the second one which I participated in only lasted just 22secs and individual  cap was $3,000. Both are currently doing very well above the ICO prices. With the success of these two launched so far. more and more people are interested in participating in such project as it has some level of trust and integrity, and not when team after conducting ICOs, will not even pay bounty hunters, but keep posting them, but when they finally pay and get listed, the price will just be a shit.

Anyone team still willing to conduct ICO should come up with a mechanism to defend their projects from gravitation free falls, so as investors don't loss hope in their project and later blame the hailing market. Hard times call for a new set of thinking for a change.
ICOs are riddled with various pump and dump schemes. Good thing also that I'm currently monitoring my live trading sessions. With the entry of new ICOs almost every day, the trust is lost completely. There is a new ICO that is secure like Fort Knox. It is Bitstraq’s BAQ tokens. Bitstraq is an unique exchange that uses AI and Blockchain protocol for security. It also has aims to evolve into a Security Token Exchange with all the regulations of the STO. With AI, Bitstraq secures the exchange under lock and key. Any signs of threat, Bitstraq retaliates the attacks and stores the behaviour of the attack in a threat reputation database. The Bitstraq’s order matching engine will match orders between buyers and sellers in a secure environment. It allows for millions of transactions per second with low latency and zero- trade leakage. Just my two cents on this. Best of luck!

Re: Do you believe bull market is coming?
by

on 07/03/2019, 00:23:00 UTC
Recently some positive news and frequent promotions from some platforms make me think if the bull market is on the way.
The water period in southwest of China starts from March and believe hundreds thousands of machines will be re-opened to join the mining, meanwhile the mining difficulty will definitely rise sharply.
Besides, many cloud mining platforms are moving these days: bitdeer, hashnest, genesis mining, cryptouniverse, bitdeer is the most active one, giving away gifts, coupons, even starting other crypto mining except bitcoin.

I'm not sure if it's a real bull, but seems we need to decide which is better for us : hold cryptos or put them in mining again. Is it a repeat situation of 2015??

IMHO, I believe that we should continue to feel a bullish and strong trend, specifically about Bitcoin being the leading indicator for cryptocurrencies. It should be used to determine the trend: up, down, neutral. This is one of the more actionable cryptocurrency for 2019. However, Bitcoin is not likely the cryptocurrency that will deliver 10-fold returns similar to the previous 7 years. The underlying reason is that Bitcoin futures will cap the upside potential because, for the first time since Bitcoin’s inception, there is two-sided trading in the Bitcoin market. IMHO, I presume it will as long as binance is doing good (and there is no reason to believe it won't unless some crack down happens on it by govt and law where it operates from). The thing to understand is that BNB very specific to the binance exchange and no a globally traded currency like Bitcoin or ether. No other exchange might be trading it (I am guessing same for Kucoin and any other such exchange specific coins). Got to go now as I resume my real estate research. Best of luck!

Friends, does it make sense to take very cheap altcoins <$ 1? I think about buying, but I am interested in your opinion. Will they leave the market and exchanges, with such a strong fall?
I think so, but not all the time. You still need lots of readings and research. It is also a perfect timing since I'm currently monitoring my live trading session. Take for example Stellar (XLM). The Stellar Blockchain project mainly pointed at remittances or cross country payments in a fast, efficient, and cheap way. Stellar offered their solution to the resource usage issue that many proof of work networks encountered with their Stellar Consensus Protocol. Stellar seems to be doing everything right. The network is fueled by brilliant strategic partnerships, including tech giant IBM. If you do any online business, especially internationally, you’ll see there is a need for fast, simple and cheap ways to send payments. With the leaders in online payments currently charging 5% or more in money transferring fees, it’s easy to imagine a world where Stellar, with its <5 second transaction speeds and ultra low transaction fees, thrives in business. It is said that Tempo running on the Stellar blockchain as a remittances dApp can facilitate 600,000 transactions for 0.01 USD in fees. We’ve sung Stellar’s praises before and will continue to as this project has accomplished so much and still has so much potential. We expect Stellar to do very well moving forward. Just my two cents on this. Best of luck!

In my prediction i think every price altcoin is still down because fail and scam project.A good project lock their token to save a fall price. But its not give effect to make their price is up because too little buyer in market.
Will the altcoin raise again in middle 2019 ?

Of course, just like in the case of Bitcoin since it is a decentralized, blockchain based cryptocurrency. It is the center of attention for the cryptocurrency industry - and the reason the market is so hyped. The price of bitcoin while launching on July 21,2010 was $0.07921.The Bitcoin price is expected to reach $50044.6 by the end of 2023. Bitcoin will soon resume its uptrend as the market become stable. So it is assumed that bitcoin and other crypto are about to rise again in 2019 even though they have faced a decline in their journey at times. Just my two cents . I’m feeling like most altcoins have bottomed out for the most part. If things ever turn around, I think a lot of these projects will skyrocket.

I currently have 79% of my holdings in BTC. 8% Eth, 7% LTC, 3% BNB, and the rest in various shitcoins.

Let’s say I wanted to put 5% of my bitcoin into 3 projects...what would you recommend?

Thanks. (Please not shitcoin shills. Real projects. Real longevity.)
IMO, Altcoins. With ALT you will have more than option available for investment and this helps you to diversify your investment portfolio. I can suggest you some digital assets (coins) on which you can start doing some research and study their websites. Only invest if you feel that these projects have potential. 5 Digital Assets that have good future in the cryptospace could be Emc2, Dgb, Stellar, XLM and SC. Just my two cents on this.
