My review:

Bought 2 Win 10 Pro keys. I've activated one so far and it worked as expected.

Communication was smooth and to the point. Good seller!

Yes, maybe sometimes they just take an open source code and REWORK IT, but that is like tuning a car. Using their time and knowledge.

They sell their knowledge, like lawyers do for example. Nobody is forced to buy their reworked software.

Only, the license of that Open Source code-base expressively FORBIDS not distributing the derivate work's source code.

Open Source doesn't mean "take it and do whatever you want". It means "take it and do with it whatever the license allows you to". Otherwise, it's simply theft. Certainly no one is going to sue him, but that's the same as stealing from a baby. Baby ain't gonna shoot you but you literally stole.

And buying it is better than mining on smaller mining setups.

It's better for hoarding (I bought) but mining is also profitable. I only have 2 cards (I'm a newb latecomer) but with the current price, it's run a few hours and it's already done more that half profit compared to 24h of mining eth (extrapolated in 24h, it's 9E vs 2E). Sure, small amounts but why not.

I have a 4 1050ti rig and it is still 4x  more profitable than eth.   This is based off the last day where the global hash was peaking over 1k GH and current price 2800 satoshi.

The only major difference is that ETh as a solid team, a solid use case, a solid track record and if the price goes down now you know you have better chances of going back up if it ticks thoses boxes... Im not saying Sig doesnt have potencial but whatever goes up so quick must also come down the same way ( and you saw this happen with ETH and other major crypto ) its a gamble at the moment to mine Sig

If you make 4x compared to eth, you can use that 1x to buy the eth you'd have mined -> 0 risk Wink

Actually, it's totally the same, so that "Gabriel" is plagiarist of Carsens work

It's plagiarism when it's not allowed. In open source, copying IS the whole point.

Exact same issue ^ (with 4xx & 5xx), it only detects the onboard card.
Try including the following in your bat file. Your cards should be in either of the platform.

--gpu-platform 1
--gpu-platform 2

Try with this one

sgminer --gpu-platform=1 -o stratum+tcp://pool.hashbag.cc:8644 -o -p c=SIGT

you may need to use gpu platform 0,1,2 depending on which openCL platforms you have installed, you can find a list of those in Regedit at LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Khronos/OpenCL/Vendors

if you look there you should see the amdocl64.dll listed (if you are running a 32 bit miner on a 64 bit platform then you need to look inside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Khronos\OpenCL\Vendors)

remove the intel one (write down the value that was in there in case you want to restore intel openCL) that's in that folder and reboot your machine and then you should only have the amd platform left and sgminer won't get so confused

It worked! Thank you!!!!

Re: I want to invest $200K to set up an exchange and I need your help

This seems doubtful, a newbie account, asking for advice about how to open an exchange and that has 200000 every month to spare, it is too good to be true and when that happens most likely it is.
A newbie only signifies a newly created account, it does not tell anything about one's experiences and exposures as you can equally  see a number of newbies making meaning contributions in their posts, while couple of high ranking member drift off tangentially from topic on hand.
You are right about it but that is not what it is happening here, in this thread a newbie ask about how to open an exchange and that he has 200000 monthly if he had that much money it will be better to hire experts and lawyers instead of asking for advice in a forum in which almost no one has experience creating exchanges.

Because spending $500 to get a feeling from a large community is so much money /sarcasm
