Re: What is your point of no return?
by

I probably behave similarly to point "b." But I do not blame the casino. Why? I know that I cannot win every time. I am not a regular player; I want to have fun, and I often play until I'm out of money, but I would certainly stop if I managed to get a good plus, but this is not the case. And the little that I manage to win, I do not mind spending on the game again.

Re: Is it wrong to take a temporary break from gambling?

Casino owners will advise you to stay in the game: "Well, dude, you're lucky; keep going"-that's what they proclaim. However, you can play and win, but as a regular player, you probably understand that you're walking a fine line. If you're happy with the amount you've already won, it might be wiser to stop. Although, of course, there's never too much money, and the more, the better, but being careful with your spending is also good behavior, especially since, as you write, OP, you've started getting lucky. Maybe you need to give your luck a break.

I think he will disappear with his explanations. The newbie's account will lose at best the amount he spent on buying the Cooper, and we will soon see the new manager again, who will open a bounty and deceive naive bounty hunters who believe that the bounty is still alive. When will they finally become smarter Huh

If any REPUTABLE member thinks I should reconsider any of my tags (especially regarding AI) PLEASE don't even think twice before asking me. I have a policy of removing my tag after a certain number of posts (which differs from case to case but usually between 70-100). Below is an example of a typical PM I get (personal details removed) and my usual response (number of posts may vary). IMO, getting an AI tag should be a chance to improve post quality. What is your policy for revising the AI tag?

I deleted the tag from this user only because I understood that he would still have it, knowing your method. In addition, I did not add a reference link, but my history contained his deleted posts with AI in case of his objections. After that, he publicly admitted that he used AI but promised to stop such behavior in the future. I see that the user introduced himself as a newbie, although now I doubt it again and think that he is someone's alt. Therefore, continue your policy of control, but this "newbie" must understand that once he has promised not to use AI and received trust and a chance in what he said, upon repeated detection, he can grab a red tag as an abuse of trust, which seems much worse. I do not delete PM.

Re: How quickly do you forget a loss
by

Forgetting gambling is not an easy thing because when you enter the casino website or a casino website you will remember your losses. Though the gambler would forget it but it will take some time likes years.
But everyone has their own ways of forgetting things some are easy while some are not.

It's not really about completely forgetting that you lost a certain amount the previous day, because definitely if you lost $100 today while gambling and you log back into the casino the next day, you will remember the loss you had the previous day, but in this topic, I believe that what OP is insinuating is how quickly do you let go of the pain or heartbreak of facing losses while gambling. If you had lose today, when you start to gamble the next day, will you still have that heartbreaking feeling of the past losses? If no, that means you quickly let go of the pain, to embrace new chance.

If you regularly spend a hundred bucks on gambling, the question will always arise: Where is this treasured chest of money? You name a pretty decent price, which is unlikely to be lost regularly by many on the forum. However, I am not a professional, and I can be wrong, but I think that the one who lost today will be upset, and tomorrow he will be very careful with his spending, since the memories are quite fresh. Only by winning can we heal those past losses, which are not always able to compensate for all the expenses in full.

This text should be shown to every new user on social networks or to those who spend hours playing computer games. If someone asked themselves what they could do or get if they did not waste their precious time surfing Instagram, TikTok, and other similar networks. How much time is wasted on computer games that do nothing for a person except harm their eyes? It is difficult to explain the value of time to today's young generation. I try this on my children, but so far to no avail. Many people think that they can do everything, but the more enterprising ones are always one step ahead and take the best places. Therefore, OP, you have very subtly noted the value of time; it is necessary to value every minute, since today's life does not allow us to relax much.

Re: Which is more regrettable?

In the lottery, numbers that are close by often win; that's unfortunate. I can regret what would have happened if I had bet on something next to him. For me, this is a common reason, as if someone is laughing and teasing. However, I don't see the point in being stubborn, betting on the same numbers, or figuring out some strategy. It's probably easier to change your thinking. Today you bet on even numbers, and tomorrow on something divisible by three. In all cases, I don't think it's possible to somehow figure it out; the root cause will always be the luck that chooses us at a certain moment.

Re: Newbies be at alert.

Newbies need to understand a very simple truth: there is no such thing as free and fast, i.e., easy money. OP is talking about a newbie sending PMs to newbies, but I would say that anyone who offers a rather strange idea for earning money that seems very tempting should always be suspicious.
Newbies receiving such PMs, of course, should not trust strangers. In addition to the fact that you can look at the posting history of the person who sent you the PM, check his trust, and boldly report it to the moderator as "unsolicited PM."

Re: Why some countries gamble more than the others?
by
lovesmayfamilis
on 23/07/2025, 05:17:57 UTC
The second point described by the OP also seems to me the most reasonable. Large salaries and desire, as well as opportunities to get some sensations, make people look for ways to have different kinds of entertainment. For those who can afford to spend the amount that for another person from a poor country may be important for their life, entertainment does not end with going to a restaurant or a trip to a resort. People have seen a lot in life; they feel satiated, so gambling attracts them with its unexpectedness. And of course, the fact that the government in no way prohibits, but on the contrary, forces people to play, placing colorful advertising, is also a good motivator for passion for gambling.

Re: Does the novelty wear off?

I don't think that incredibly rich people will be fans of gambling. Or their gambling should be on a different, more risky level to tickle their nerves. Betting on big political events, or such a thing as something forbidden, can excite the desire to win. However, other people who use gambling as an activity to feel their power, spending huge amounts of money without thinking, risk starting to get a slightly different feeling. The feeling that at some point they will no longer have that incredible amount of money, when any entertainment ceases to please the average person.

Any loss of money is always a significant or minor source of stress. I don't think that even those who have a fat wallet, realizing that at some point their money is stupidly lost, do not experience at least some grief. There is a good expression, "There is no such thing as too much money." Therefore, as beginners, we often bet on self-confidence but lack an understanding of many subtleties, which can result in losses. But we should take away only useful things every time, even from our mistakes, replenishing our experience. Sports betting requires good analysis. Even with a good understanding of the rules, there are not many winners, since sports are always full of surprises.

What I can't figure out is why so many people still use that app if we all know it's a scammer's paradise? Logic finds that if something is bad and there are alternatives, then we reject the bad and try something else until we find what is good. Apparently people like to learn from their mistakes, which in the end is the most expensive lesson.

There are scammers everywhere now. Aren't they on Twitter and Facebook? Where else could they be? They are everywhere. The difference is not what we use, but how we use everything. Telegram is very convenient for me. In addition to communicating with colleagues, with those who also know what it is for in Telegram, aren't there many users on the forum who use the forum bot? Therefore, you need to understand that if you put a monkey behind the wheel of a car, an accident is inevitable. You don't have to be a monkey. It's simple. Cheesy

Re: How quickly do you forget a loss

Just as no person has ever lost, no person has ever regretted their losses in gambling. This happens to beginners, to those who, at the very beginning of their gambling career, mistakenly believe that they can arrange their already poor life with the help of gambling. They play with their last money, lose, and then begin to feel depressed and remorseful, realizing their stupid actions. My first losses were sad, but there were those around me who helped me understand that this is just a game, and there are always fewer winners, and we do not always have to be leaders. Therefore, you should not play when your pockets are empty and your soul is sad. Play when you have everything you need for a normal life and even more; then there will be no regrets and bitter memories of your losses.

Re: How can you enjoy the game when you are losing?
by
lovesmayfamilis
on 21/07/2025, 14:15:20 UTC
I remember that the OP already asked a similar question and even opened a similar topic. However, I will also repeat, yes, many will be disingenuous when they say that they play for fun. Indeed, spending money without seeing a return does not seem like a good idea. However, many spend more money on their pleasures, visiting clubs, bars, and other fun places where the service requires payment for pleasure. Therefore, there is no need to be skeptical; sometimes gambling allows us to rejoice and win, and this is much more pleasant than sitting around in bars, in places where we stupidly spend money, realizing that no one will return it to us.

Re: How do you see slots game?

Every time I feel like I'm one step away from winning, that's what I feel when I play slots. I spent an indecently large amount of money on them when I was a beginner, thinking that every next spin, the victory would be in my pocket. But after a while, I realized that I was losing more than I was getting. However, sometimes excitement is so necessary in our hectic lives; it allows you to relax and set your brain up for the next stage of work. A kind of reboot.

Re: My Gmail was hacked, what is the right step?

Why panic? Change your password and update the passwords of all accounts and data that can be linked to this email. In fact, for quite a long time now, news has been appearing on the network that many accounts of this email have been hacked. Yes, they can be sold, but if you still have access to it, you need to change the password, which should be complex.

Honestly, this is a topic for the off-topic section.
