Bet as an addiction in naija youths
by
mid9tclaw02
on 28/06/2025, 09:06:20 UTC
The sport as a game is a beautiful game, as a result of this we all have our favorite teams, which makes the games interesting to watch.and this is where some persons started involving in betting believing that there favorite teams will deliver them so Dy invest in this games expecting a better result from the of they choice, not knowing that in this sport betting the more you look the less you see.
This is where the addiction comes to play some persons have linked there account to the betting site making it easier to transfer in and out to the betting site( but the in this case the transfer to the betting site is more than out of the site) so in the race of recovering your loss that's where the addiction comes in and I most tell everyone, there is no way to recover, just hold on to the one you have left and play it wisely.
So with this I hope I have past a little message thou the economy too pushed some persons into it but no wam everywhere go good.

Re: Nigeria’s Tax Reform Bill, FIRS Now NRS
by
mid9tclaw02
on 28/06/2025, 08:45:08 UTC
In summary, with effect from January 1st, 2026, there will no longer be Federal Inland Revenue Service, instead you will see and hear Nigeria Revenue Service.

How It Affects You
1.   Tax payment will be digitized and centralized
2.   No tax for those whose take home (salary) is less that #800,000 per annum.
3.   If your business does not generate #50,000,000 yearly, your business will not be taxed.
4.   No more tax for food, medicine and transportation. (the poor will finally breath)
5.   Businesses will no longer deal with multiple tax collectors or redundant levies.

Challenges
•   Will this be implemented?
•   Will this reform be the same in all the regions?

Watch For 2026
•   Rollout Plan: NRS structuring, digital tooling and stakeholder onboarding.
•   Local Government Involvement: Adjustments of state and LGA revenue generation system.
•   Economic effect: Changes on tax-to-GDP ratio and growth in GDP.
•   Social impact: Reduced cost-of-living relief as a result of VAT exemptions on basics needs.
Will this be the sigh of relief for Nigerians or its just a change of uniform?

if this is well taken then it will really help the people in the country because Dy wan carry tax kill us. Since the beginning of this government it has been one tax or the other so I think this is a relief.

Re: The inability to make the right decision
by

on 26/06/2025, 15:46:56 UTC
Is so funny to see that most people can't make the right choice in this crypto space in spite the uptrend that have being going on in the market about bitcoin, you know most of us keep blaming those early men that had the opportunity to invest in bitcoin during the early stage when most  of them were watching it sliding through thier face, only few was able to grab this opportunity. Coming back to this current stage, is obvious that most of us are still trying to repeat that same mistake that those early men made of the past so if we can't learn from the past mistake why did we keep blaming those early men for letting go off such opportunity when  most of us are not also utilizing it now? Meanwhile we have seen the uptrend of bitcoin, and there have been a massive increase in the value of bitcoin, and it has proven to be the best crypto currency especially when it has to do with  long term holding, and those investors who have been holding thier bitcoin for decades have never complained about it not doing well, so why the delay? And it will make no sense if we end up regretting like those early men that failed to utilize the opportunity back then.

So I will like to ask this question direct to those no coiners what is still holding you from  accumulating bitcoin?
you no say eh some persons really need a good insight about this whole crypto currency thing so fear go comot from them body because na fear Dy cus why some people Dy  hold Dem self from ham

Everything for niaja politics Dy ham now self e don enter church watin happen to every one is equal in the eyes of God, pastor just select few persons wah him go use as elders with out screening sake of say all of them hold rubs because I see 32yrs old boy Dy there.
Politics don enter everywhere for even religion now politics don enter am, if you Dey church and u Dey look for position, as long as you get your money, then dem go give you d position even if you are not the right person to be in the position, Wetin Dey pain me pass now be say even religious leaders now na money Dem dey after, you go see religious people Dey put mouth for country politics matter, dem go Dey encourage people make dem vote for person, because dem know say if d person win, dem go benefit from the person, even if d person no be the right person.
Most people who get scammed are not completely dumb, but quite naturally truly hope that there has to be a shortcut to escape economic pressure. It’s not bad at all to have the desire to find opportunities, but what’s sad is that when they place their trust in the wrong place. Of course you and I know anybody can claim to be an expert, when you’re in a public space. Feigning like a couple who are honest, they use technical terms, create fake results and catch as much victim as possible. Sadly, they target those people who don’t know much, who are beginners, who don’t yet have the experience to separate a real information from a trap.

The best way to protect these people I believe is to make sure that they know the dangers, but also give them a large basic understanding to rely on the rest of the time. That can start from the open forum as it is like this. Those who have seen the scam, those who have lost because of making quick decisions, we have a part to play. At least they can learn from bad experiences if they are able to do so, which really will be a blessing as there will be a lesson for others to learn from.
how we go take create this kind medium wah people go learn and know

Re: Best advice about cryptocurrency.
by
mid9tclaw02
on 08/06/2025, 22:55:31 UTC
Recently @1miau opened two threads on our Naija board and Beginners & Help board asking for the best advice on cryptocurrency. I have read almost all the advice in those two threads and have summarized the important advice for everyone's benefit. I don't know how useful it is for everyone. But for me the advice is very important, I have summarized the two threads to save it and for the benefit of newcomers.

Here are the tips.
  • Always try, buy deep and hold.
  • Never rush to send funds to an address without proper confirmation.
  • Do your research before you start investing in any cryptocurrency.
  • Verify any wallet before downloading and installing it. Don't trust any link.
  • If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.
  • Not "yesterday", not "tomorrow", not "when the price drops", not "when will Satoshi come", but right when you first heard about it. Don't put it off "for later", start working right then and there.
  • Don't trust, verify.
  • Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
  • Only invest money you can afford to lose..
  • There is no free money on the internet..
  • Know what is important and what is not and focus on what is important..
  • If you plan to make a profit, be prepared to lose too..
  • Start slowly but consistently..
  • Say no to FOMO..
  • Now is the best time to get into the market..
  • New investors should complete their own access with a few steps, such as email verification and fingerprint..
  • Cryptocurrency is not a get-rich-quick scheme..
  • If you can afford it, use a good hardware wallet to store your coins..
  • Don’t invest in cryptocurrencies using borrowed funds..
  • Don’t take out loans or borrow money to invest in Bitcoin..
  • Understand the difference between Bitcoin, shitcoins, and altcoins..
  • Securing your seed phrase is the most important thing to do for both new and experienced crypto users..
this one sharp all advise copied na this kind thing I want to Dy hear for here.

Due to high rank demand on the board with limited source I've decided to make the application public and to reduce the merit requirement to 8-10

      Who can apply?

      Member rank 5+
      Full member: 90+
      Sr member: 240+
      Hero: 490+
      Legendary: 990+

Too many multiple applications. I will lock this thread now, when I get the current page I reopen. If you're lacking 10-15 merits to the next rank PM your profile for review and upgrade

      Note:

*Application that does not meet requirements will be deleted.

*Must be active local board poster.

      Application format.

Since I don't have much time currently to distribute my source sMerit and it won't change much in the near future, I offer everyone to link posts which I've not merited yet for a new round of Merit distribution. Such a procedure can be helpful if I have overlooked individual posts or if such posts appear in topics which I have not looked into. If you feel  a contribution deserves more merit from me, you are welcome to show up here and nominate your contributing post.

      Rules:

BTC nothing changed from this morning still on support, but uncertainly since this is the last Friday of the month,we will see next week,it will be essential to see how the month closes tomorrow, but the short term scenario does not change because the price has fallen since the last three days. With a price of105k it can retest to 95k by next month.
