Re: 14 years activating 80,000 BTC?

The thing is with time we will lose such legendary events because people will start moving the coins as time passed by.
14 years is not a small time and it needs great patience to hold for such a long time. Try imagining holding on for over a decade from now.
Just the mere thought gives me shivers as to what would happen over the next decade but seeing such transactions is definitely an inspiration.

Re: BTC touch-level bets: Where?
by

on 24/07/2025, 14:37:38 UTC
On which prediction markets can I place bets that the Bitcoin price will touch a specific level within a given timeframe?

I'm looking to use this as a hedge alongside a futures position - placing a bet at the same level as my liquidation price, so that if I get liquidated, I can recover some of the loss through the winning bet.

I guess you have posted it in the wrong section. You should have posted it on trading discussion instead.
I think you need to go for options trading in this case which is already present on Binance.
Once you go to margin trading on binance you will be able to see the options trading there and then you can select your desired call/put option from there.

I like how he is saying "unknowingly bypassed the region restriction". Unknowingly? Really? If he is from UK (I suppose that as he cant pass KYC with UK documents), he from the start have issues with opening page and making a registration. From the beginning, without making a deposit he has already broke ToS rules, and now call it unknowingly. With such silly approach, I am not sure that he is 18. People who are +18 dont do such silly mistakes so easily, they are not so ridiculously silly towards their money.

The thing is that he was using VPN and it is clearly mentioned on the ToS that using VPN for restricted regions is prohibited.
So the user should have been aware of that before depositing such large sum of money on the site.
I wonder how people deposit such large amount on casino sites without reading their Terms and Conditions.
If BC.GAME is at mercy only then the user might get back his funds and otherwise they are pretty much gone.

Re: Does covering user withdrawal fees work better for casinos?
by
pawanjain
on 24/07/2025, 14:21:55 UTC
When it comes to withdrawals, casinos have two types of business model:

1. Pay user's withdrawal fees out of their own pocket
2. User pays fixed withdrawal fee

I, as an user, prefer to gamble on a casino that pays my withdrawal fees because I feel like I'm treated better. I don't have to worry about not having enough money to meet minimum requirements when fees are added to my withdrawal. I'm also less careful about my deposit because I know, I'll get back what I left on my balance and nothing more will be deducted.

For me, it's okay to pay withdrawal fees if they are very low and near to real life cases, like, if the fee of average Bitcoin transaction is $0.50 and casino charges me that, I'm okay with that. If the Litecoin withdrawal fee is $0.01 and casino charges me $0.50, that's not okay for me. I prefer fair fees for every kind of cryptocurrency.

I would love to know, which approach works better for casinos to increase their revenue and retain more customers? I feel like casinos that pay withdrawal fees out of their pocket have more loyal customers and their customers also deposit more money than those who don't pay user's withdrawal fees. Is there any statistics that either prove or disagree with my opinion? Is any casino representative willing to speak about it? It is a nice topic to discuss.

Are there any gambling sites which do not charge withdrawal fees at all ? How am I not aware of any ?
Whichever site I gambled on or heard of, charges the users a withdrawal fees for their withdrawals.
Yes, some of do charge a lot while the on chain transaction fees are not that much still they charge more and that's a spoiler.
I would prefer let users decide their own withdrawal fees or at least provide them an option for slower withdrawals with cheaper fees.

I was just using my free WoF spin from the mail and then after using it I went to freebitco.in.
I noticed this banner on the homepage which consists of the "Play Now" button but upon clicking on it nothing happened.
I guess it is supposed to open the free WoF spin but since I don't have any may be that's why it did nothing.

Yes, atleast we need to fit in a way that we can do all our activities on our own and doesn't need to have abs. Cheesy

But our foods are highly carb and often lack protein sources which is one of the main reason for obesity and type 2 diabetes, we should consume less carbs and increase protein source whether as veggies or from meat (that's different politics  Shocked).

That is true, the usual food items we eat do carry a lot of carbs. I personally rely on Protein Shake to complete my protein intake.
These days though I am finding it hard to dedicate my time to the gym. I even fell sick and had a viral infection recently but I am good now.
Will be hitting the gym tomorrow again.

Oh yes, working out at home is definitely possible but we need a strong motivation to workout from home.
I have tried it and succeeded to some extent but honestly speaking, I prefer hitting the gym.
Calisthenic exercises like Pushup, situp, hollow body holds can be done without any equipment. Only pull ups require a pull up bar which you can order online as well.

These are good if done in the proper form. Form is of utmost importance or else the muscles dont get activated and you will not see any changes over the years.

But these calisthenics are the oldest form of free hand exercise and they are difficult to master, much better than going to a gym and getting into that subculture, I dont like it anyway.

Yes, Calisthenics are obviously better but to be honest, it needs a strong will power to start working out at home.
How do you guys start the workout at home ? I really procrastinate on that but I feel like working out at the gym once I am there.

The site is back with some cosmetic changes.

The FUN tokens withdrawal is still not working and I dont think it will work. I took some time and checked their 2 casino websites and those are not working as well.

Its funny to see how the site is deploying upgrades but is not focusing on solving the existing issues.
Not sure if anyone has tried withdrawing FUN/BTC recently but as far the posts are it seems the withdrawals are still facing issues.
The development team should rather focus on that and make the site completely stable if at all they want their existing users continue using the site.

Re: Excitement in gambling and How to Control Yourself ?
by
pawanjain
on 23/07/2025, 13:46:34 UTC
Such people have strong self control over their emotions and often they are disciplined towards other things also.
One of my friends is like this. He does all the household chores by himself, completes his day job with efficiency and also has time for himself.
He works on side hustles in free time and sometimes gamble within his limits from the extra income he earns from his side hustles.
He is quite a motivation for me and I have myself developed a lot of self-control by seeing him.
The way you put it is Impressive because it can be the motivation and incentive for anyone, your friend is a clear demonstration that things can be done well and Efficiently , Apart from having fun, although I suppose he is single, when you have a wife and children the only way you can have that time is if you have too much money to devote to the things you really need.

You guessed it right. He is in fact single and may be that's why he is able to handle so many things so well.
He is about to get married soon though and it might get challenging for him to diversify his time to his current activities.
Well, that is something I will find out with time but yeah, the takeaway is that a good self control can elevate our focus and growth to the next level.

Re: is just buying tokens randomly without any research a good strategy?
by
pawanjain
on 21/07/2025, 16:20:14 UTC
I’m starting to think this whole “skillful trading” thing is a myth—charts, indicators, “alpha” whispers… it all feels like smoke and mirrors. One minute you’re convinced your TA is bulletproof, the next you’re underwater because some pump-and-dump bot jacked the price. Feels like half the volumes are bots and the other half are FOMO maniacs hitting “buy” on whatever ticker looks shiny.

So get this—I stumbled on a tool called randombag that literally picks you a random basket of tokens from a curated trend list and buys them for you with one click. No research, no DD, no strategy—just pure randomness. And some users swear it actually outperforms their painstaking analysis but who knows if it also smoke.

Makes me wonder: in a market this rigged and noisy, is randomness the ultimate hedge? Has anyone here ever tried a dartboard approach—just throwing capital at random coins—and come out ahead? Or are we all fools chasing unicorns while a monkey with a dart could do just as well? Keen to hear your war stories or data if you’ve tried pure chance over “skill.”

This might sound more like a cliche but its something I have experienced it myself over the years.
I have been here almost for a decade now and with my experience I can say that HODL is the ultimate strategy to make massive gains.
Trading altcoins is the easiest way to lose money. Buy bitcoin and maximum one or two altcoins divide the porfolio as 50% bitcoin and 25% in both the altcoins.
If you bought just one altcoin then go 70% bitcoin and 30% altcoin and then just freaking hold it for years.

Re: Early entry always wins.. case study: Chainbase $C.
by
pawanjain
on 21/07/2025, 16:13:12 UTC

So I've always posted about how early entry is key when trading both spots and futures and rn the scenario has played out again. So I saw news about chainbase token listing 4 days ago and decided to participate in the Bitget launchpool for C while casually holding some of the token..

4days later, I noticed the token has done over 300% due to Binance listing announcement.
snip

Without doing much I gained massively cos I was early.. for newbies or even pros in the game . This is the hack most people won't tell you. Stick to platforms that are early with listings, it's not a 100% but it'll surely increase your reward ratio

Good for you but then don't you think that the gains you got was merely because of Binance listing.
It's purely listing gains and not something that adds fundamental value to the coin.
The title does make sense though. Early investments gives us an edge for making massive gains.
But its not that every coin will give us such returns and we have to do the research and analyse the potential of such projects.

Or to add nodes right now without restarting:

Code:
lncli connect (pubkey)@(host):(port)

Find large nodes from 1ML.com or Amboss.space

No restart required in that case

This was the reason why the graph was not syncing in my LND setup too.
Once I manually added peers from Amboss.space with the above setup the graph was synced in few minutes.
After some time though, the peers were disconnecting and I had to reconnect with new peers. So may be that is something you should check @Z_MBFM

Re: Why are you taking profit on bitcoin?
by
pawanjain
on 21/07/2025, 13:09:26 UTC
Why you shouldn’t take profit is:

1. Using the money to actually spend it on unnecessary luxuries (emphasis on unnecessary, as there is nothing bad to get some luxury for your self).

2. It is wrong to take profit and abandon it on fiat currency, that’s going from an asset with a store of value to one with devaluing characteristics.

3. Taking profit to actually invest into altcoins because there is predicted alt season coming with some Altcoins been rumored to be able to do 5x or more is a capital gambling which mostly results more into losses than profits.

4. lastly Buying Altcoins are not diversification means so do not take profit from bitcoin to buy Altcoins.

Your point number 3 and 4 are a little similar as to selling bitcoins to buy altcoins. May be you should consider combining them.
This is the exact mistake I have made in this bull cycle and I obviously regret making this choice.
I have learnt my lesson though and won't repeat this mistake again. Holding my bitcoin stronger now.

This is too early to conclude right now, until dominance hit 40+range and ETH reaches a new ATH, you will be shocked, many people are not ready for what's about to happen.

Right from day one those who likes Bitcoin too much always hate on altcoins for some weird reasons, if they can eradicate alts with their mouth they would have but still, this is going to be the most hated rally ever.

Why? Because every piss of sh** are still going to pump anyways and people will make money, it is not the first time and it won't be the last time either, many alts already failed and people got f**k up but what will happen will still happen.

Lol, from that perspective it will definitely happen but the point is that if we are investing in altcoins then we better know why we are doing it.
It's obvious that bitcoin will crush every altcoin time and time again as it has already proven itself.
Altcoins will come and go but if we invest in the right altcoin there is a greater chance of surpassing the returns when compared to bitcoin.
But again, that is where many people mess it up and invest in shitcoins and end up in losses and that is why it is much much safer to hold bitcoin instead.

So if you are thinking of quitting. Take a break and remind yourself that you are still learning and growing and that winner's never quit. One love ❤️

That is in fact the most important thing of our investing journey. No matter howmuch of a pro investor a person is, nobody can save him from losing trades.
At the end of the day, it eventually boils down to how consistent we are at holding and investing.
Losses do hurt a lot but we must take it in a positive way and consider it as a lesson.
Improvising everyday is the only way we can succeed over the long run and get rich from our investments.

Re: How do you invest small amounts outside of crypto?
by
pawanjain
on 20/07/2025, 15:47:38 UTC
Curious to hear how others manage small capital outside the crypto space.

What did you start with when you had limited funds?
Where do you park or grow your money now?
Any strategies or assets you'd recommend for someone starting small today?

Looking forward to learning from your experience.  Roll Eyes

I initially started my investing journey with crypto and then diversified it towards other assets.
I purchased some stocks, mutual funds and then later tried some real estate investing.
Lately I have started buying bonds and trying to create a balanced portfolio.
Out of all of these, my crypto investments have surpassed all other investments by a huge margin.
This shows why investing in crypto especially bitcoin is mandatory.

All services on CoinDCX remain fully operational.
We’ve always built CoinDCX on a foundation of security and transparency. That’s why I’ve shared a detailed message with the community, which you can watch here: [Watch Here]

Well that is good to hear since it would have been loss for people if they would have lost their funds.
Good that CoinDCX didn't suffer a fate like WazirX because people who had their funds in WazirX are still not able to access their funds.
One of my friends has his money stuck in WazirX wallet till date. Is there anyone here who is using CoinDCX ?

I guess that's the best way to stay fit + hit the gym.

You don't even have to hit gym tbh, plenty exercises can be done at home — push ups, squats, pull ups (you can hang wherever possible in your house or get a pull up bar), jump rope (costs ~150 rupee on Amazon), etc.

Oh yes, working out at home is definitely possible but we need a strong motivation to workout from home.
I have tried it and succeeded to some extent but honestly speaking, I prefer hitting the gym.
Its a different kind of feeling working out at the gym and seeing others working out feels motivated too.
We also make some new friends but yeah, for those people who don't want to spend much and want to workout at home then yes they can opt for that too.

Re: Important questions for anyone using a crypto exchanges
by
pawanjain
on 19/07/2025, 16:04:02 UTC
Hello everyone!

A lot of cryptocurrency exchanges these days ask users to go through KYC checks, mostly to follow the law and keep things secure.

But have you ever wondered why exactly they do this? Is it just about obeying rules, or is there something more to it?

Cryptocurrency exchanges typically need name, address, passport, photo ID, etc. to ensure you are who you claim to be, which aids in the prevention of fraud and money laundering.

But do they handle this process themselves, or are they hiring other companies to check your details? And how safe is your information once you hand it over? Some platforms also set limits on your account if you haven’t completed KYC.

If you’re curious about these things, it’s fair to ask of course: Why does the exchange really need your data, what do they do with it, and who actually gets to see it? These are important questions to ask for anyone using a crypto exchange today.

Haven't you tried to read their FAQs, privacy policy and terms and conditions ? All these details are usually mentioned there.
In general, these KYC documents are often collected for AML policies and regulations from respective authorities.
It also helps in cases there are scams and account hacks etc...

Re: Where does the $$$$ GO on KYC failure
by

You've got it right. At some stage, casinos realized that they can not just win from losing players, but also from winning ones, through KYC...and it seems that not only has everyone on the forum let it happen, but they deny that it happens. I'd say that's a sign of some form corruption, others deny that any form of corruption exists. What do you think about the forum allowing this kind of practice by casinos? Do you think more should be done about this issue?

The forum already has a scam accusation board which is very active and helpful.
There are already so many casino sites which are reported and so the other people are often benefited from these accusation posts.
We have seen people raising such concern with valid proof and often casino sites who don't provide with resolution to these are tagged.

Lol, leave foreigners alone, even I being an Indian got food poisioning several times. I usually eat home food so may be my immune system hasn't got resistance like other folks.

That is true. Even I have decreased eating outside food. In my entire lifetime, I have not ate outside food a lot though.
Just on some occasions may but that would be it. I like home food as it's the best in quality.
We even make junk food at home sometimes like Wadapav, pani puri, bhel, pizza etc...
