If it is a casino service then it is good suitable in this board but the explanations of the Op is not really clear if it is casino or a currency exchange service. Casinos normally change currencies among themselves so I don't know if there are special sites to do that job. Your concise explanation would have been better at the Op for more understanding. "Exchange for stake", probably if I use the service I will know better so it is for me to test how the service looks like. But is the service for gambling or for only staking currencies? panjul07 have you used the service before? Really the service is confusing me.

Hi, this is an exchanger service working internally in Stake casino. Users sometimes need to exchange their crypto to another crypto, due to high fees, blockchain speed, recipient / wallet support, privacy, min/max betting limits and more. Stake does not offer a swap service, so users can send their crypto to this bot in Stake using tip feature, and receive their desired currency.

I have overlooked this thread and I think this is a great tool which works very well even now as I see in the chat that poorbot is called upon from a lot of players there and I see the stats of this bot, he is gold there at stake and it has a wagered amount of over 500.000 dollars so it is working well. Before that it was dinobot or dinabot I don't remember and I don't know if it is still alive or the predecessor of this bot but that bot worked well too. This type of bot is very very handy especially when you use USDT as when I withdrew from stake USDT and wanted to exchange them in one of the bestchange approved exchanges it got stuck in KYC until I did it, if I used this bot this would not have happened so we all should be very happy for such platforms that they do exist.

Thanks for your comments! Great to hear you found it useful.

stake name emilianwonk did send a tip of 0.00048122 btc and gives me the error and that my founds are safe bla bla. im waiting more than 4 hours already ... no retip no refund

So there is an issue with the tipping system? If it is the case, poorbot or any other exchange bot can do nothing except waiting for the site to solve the issue.
If I have to speculate since you dont give clear information about the issue, maybe poorbot has not received the tip in their account so they cant give you the fund back in other coin.
My other speculation is that you have not filled the form, but if it is the case then you should have received refund as the terms of poorbot.
So I think the my first speculation is the case, I dont visit Stake for several days already so I dont know if there is such an issue with the tipping feature.

Hi, sorry about the delay, the amount was refunded

That's good to hear. Previous posts sound like you receive tips and then use them to gamble on a casino straight away. Can't really verify anything if the claims don't give further proof of that.

I noticed a new stat showing how much has been exchanged in the past 24 hours on the website. It's around 6k when I'm writing this, it sounds like a decent number of users are still using the service. Out of curiosity, why are there no plans to support other casinos with similar features? If Stake changed their mind again wouldn't it be troublesome?

Hi, as said before, tips aren't kept in Poorbot account longer than 30 mins, and there was +$50k liquidity available in Poorbot at almost all times. Also, there is a wager requirement to be able to transfer received tips/deposits.

I guess it is because of some possible reasons, such as:
...

Yeah, these are the main reasons. If they decide to remove tips, nothing I can do unfortunately Smiley

(also, apologies for not being able to reply to all replies individually, busy making Poorbot better Grin )
Is that meaning that you are coming back to make work Poorbot with some other casinos?
Can you tell us more information about that and when do you plan to release the final version?
I see on website info that Poorbot will be available end of June, and we only have few more days left.

No other casinos are planned, sorry
It'll stay mostly the same, but fees will be lowered, new coins, and few UX updates

If the funds are automatically refunded then it sounds contradictory with the claim that some people lose thousands of dollars after giving you tips. From their message, they seem convived and have some screenshot of your wrongdoings. Hard to verify as a third party who doesn't follow everything closely. I guess we can only wait and see of service is coming back up and if anyone would post some proof of any possible mistake. CMIIW.

There was only 2 tips over 4-5k USD which were delayed like a few hours, rest were refunded 30 minutes after sending.
I haven't received a message or email from anyone regarding this (well, except the 2 tips I mentioned). Anyone claiming they've not been refunded, feel free to post any evidence here, I'll look it up and show the refund transaction.

What's with the funds players that were sent to you on that day when you gambled it all away? I was in chat myself on stake and saw the public outcry.
No making an accusation here since I don't know all the facts, just saw plenty of complaints? Have all the players funds been returned and/or exchanged by now?

Like I said, no accusation, just a simple question.

I think that can be the only explanation why stake has offered any complains about the issue, because if some of the funds lost were actually tied to stake users then I think by an accusation or some sort of thread would have been actively discussed

But it's seems the whole issue wasn't actually what we taught as the poorbet owner himself has cleared the air and hopefully they would restart it as he states and with lowered fee too.

There were no player funds "gambled away" or kept, they were all refunded automatically in 30 mins after the bot has stopped working.
Also Poorbot had +60k USD liquidity available at most times. I could only read the posts recently, I think the talks in the chat was mostly about poorbot going away and not the alleged "exit scam"
Rest assured, there's not a single cent from the users that hasn't been returned or exchanged

Hi, sorry for leaving you guys in the dark. There was words going around stake is removing tipping so poorbot was temporarily closed. However they reverted this decision and I had previously decided to not get it back up.
However, due to so many requests from users, I'll start it again with some changes. Thank you for your support and sorry for the inconvenience.
Poorbot will be back in end of this month. Fees will be lowered and some more coins will be added, and some internal tools for managing it. Thanks!

Congratulations, it's just last December since you launch this service and now you are already getting that big volume. I think this will grow further in the future since stake has been one of the biggest casino in crypto, and hopefully maybe in the future more casinos will have that feature so you'll be able to intergrate it and they'll also enjoy the service.

Good luck to more success in the future...and thanks for choosing the forum as one of the platform in building your community.

Any chance you'll be running a campaign or promotion in the forum again?

Thank you for your message, unfortunately currently it will continue with Stake
Signature campaign might be less likely, but there will be some giveaways!

Compared to the statistics of first month, Poorbot is growing quickly. That's a huge achievement in just 4 months. The exchange fee was 0.3% when you launched your exchanger. When and why have you increased it to 1.2%? Wasn't the 0.3% fee rate enough to generate revenue? Anyway, you have to update the image in your main post with the current fee rate.

Thanks! Yes, we launched with 0.3% and after a while we announced on the website it would go up to 1.2% on 6 March
0.3% was a great way to reach more users, but it wasn't sustainable in the long run because of the constant need of liquidity and rains sent
I think it's still pretty good, compared to other instant swap services

Also thanks for reminding me about the image, I have updated it now!

How about other fiat currencies such as CAD, INR, etc.?

They have regulations and requires more KYC and stuff, so better stick to crypto only Smiley

Just sent 50.07254460 XRP And an error message appears, I want my money back, please 🙏 User: yankevin

Have you received your XRP back or have you succesfully exchanged it to other coin? Kindly give an update
The OP is inactive for a week already now, it seems that he is away from online activity so it can be the reason if there is an error with the exchange bot.
So an update for you will be useful for others, at least if your case is resolved then others will not worry to use it to exchange their coins.
If your case is not resolved, then it can be a warning for others not to use it, at least until they resolve your case.

Hi, sorry for late response, I was away so I couldn't check the bitcointalk thread, however support email & bot maintenance was not interrupted. Sometimes Stake will fail to send the tip, so exchange gets stuck.
All errored exchanges are usually fixed in a few minutes, or few hours. Your exchange was unfortunately delayed a bit, ~6-7 hours.
This issue with bot will be fixed though, sorry about the inconvenience!

Also for future reference, if you're having issues with the exchanges, better send a support email, it's checked more frequently than this thread!

Thanks for your interest

But the bot's purpose is to allow people to exchange coins through Stake, not necessarily tip other people. Don't you think setting the minimum amount way too low would increase the probability of spamming attacks even if you limit the request through the APIs? I don't see a problem even if you set the minimum exchange amount to $1, considering how many exchanges require at least $10 or $5. This sounds okay to me as an alternative way to trade your coins.

Thanks for your suggestions! Spamming loses the spammer money and time, and in case such thing is detected it's possible to force our outgoing tips to be hidden for that user, or prevent them from exchanging and refund the coins few hours later. If they still continue abusing, it's possible to hold the coins and show them an alert and that they should contact support to get a refund, and let them know further tips would not be refunded or exchanged, etc.
These are solutions from our end, it's also possible that Stake chat mods would pick up on this tip spamming and restrict their tipping ability. Since Stake's aware of the bot it shouldn't cause issues for the bot account.

Re: PoorBot Review!

My Suggestion for Improvement of the PoorBot

I suggest the developer of the bot to fix a few issues that I have noticed during my tests. First issue to fix is to make bot more responsive to quick transactions, and instead of giving error message the bot should give a message like "please wait a few seconds".

Another thing that I suggest to the developer of the bot is to reduce the minimum accepted amount to Stake’s minimum accepted amount for the tip as many users may face some problems if they send tips that are below $0.50 in value.

My final suggestion to improve the bot is to add more crypto-currencies in the list of accepted crypto-currencies. With more crypto-currencies in the list users have choice to convert to other desired crypto-currencies if they want.

Thanks for your detailed review!

Bot checks for incoming tips every 30 seconds (in order not to spam Stake's API), but I agree the error message should be better, will fix that!
Minimum amount is different for each coin so even if you can send, say $0.20, bot might not be able to send the converted amount back in another currency, that's why I set it at $0.50 to make sure, but I'll work on that as well, and add more currencies!

The idea seems nice and as a Stake user myself, It could be useful to me as well. However, what if Stake out of the blue close your account(could be any reason like KYC, collusion, inactive with regards to betting on stake)? what happens then? is there a failsafe just in case?

Thanks for your interest, as stated previously, they are aware of the bot and what it does. In the absolute worst case though, since bot doesn't keep user funds for a long time, users wouldn't be affected (even if they did, they would be compensated by me), and bot would probably be shut down.

Now we know that it does not violate any rules although there is no accurate guarantee of its future, but is the process of @poorbot's tip that users have to go through KYC? How about users who don't go through the KYC process will it be okay?
So far I in the stake account have never done any KYC until now, suppose if you want to use this fitu must KYC first?

Because this is indeed a very low fee rate than other bots that apply larger that I know, of course your fee rate offer will be more admired because it is too low.

Hi, tipping feature on Stake currently is not subject to any KYC procedures as far as I know. Deposits and withdrawals could be though, when deemed necessary by Stake.

Regarding review campaign, we're currently awaiting for a few members to complete their reviews. I'm guessing they will post it here when done!

Can you explain a bit as to why this new gambling platform poorbit.io would be new one for only the stake users and not the other sites' gamblers  Huh
Don't know what you wanted to say here ?
poorbot*.io is not a gambling platform, you got it all wrong. Better read the post again.

You made Poortbot on your own without affiliation or Stake approval, so is there any chance that Stakes notice tips transactions like this increasing and ban them?
I dont see anything wrong with what you are doing, but they can think this are cases of abuse and multiple accounts.

Please see above messages, this question has been asked & answered multiple times:
Hi, thanks for your concerns, but it doesn't break the rules. This works by tipping feature, in order for an user to have a usable balance on Stake, they must complete their KYC process anyways, and exchanges are sent back to the same user, so there's no concern about that.
Regarding the Fair Use part, I've already been in contact with relevant people from Stake and they are aware of the bot already. Of course they cannot vouch for it, or "approve" it officially, for obvious reasons. As long as the bot works as expected, they have said there should be no issues. The relevant processes has been completed on the bot account also.
