What is happening now? Ethereum is now struggling to meet the expectations on its eco-members. Anyway, within each worst situation, there is an advantage. This is the right time to buy more ethereum and make some good profit during upswing.
If etherium is going down, I will probably buy it for a cheap price. This will allow me to maximize my profit if the market turns green again. I am justing waiting ETH would go down up to 300$ again so I am gonna buy it.

Probably this will happen, but not today. ETH is far from BTC and no chance to beat BTC as the mainstream digital currency at the moment. I hope it'll happen someday or near future because I really believe in ETH. I am a fanboy of ETH because it gave me huge profit when it reached the highest value last 2017.

The only way to find out if ICO is a scam, you have to do some research about its background, people behind it and if they have a professional website with a clear roadmap and goal. Also, if you will see their thread here, it should be organized and the bounty manager has a respectable rank in bitcointalk.
It's a simple answers: your money your choice. If you are going to this market with your greedy and lack of understanding, you will lost all your money. And noway to get back your money 
Yeah, I agree with you bro, I have known people who lose a huge amount of money because they're greedy to earn huge money in a short period of time. People who not fully prepared or not ready to engage in cryptocurrency will surely lose money. Once you lose everything, there is no chance to bring back you 100% investment. I'm always telling to those people who want to invest in cryptocurrency market they should study first or do some research in especially in trading because of high risk.

Popular Ethereum wallet interface MyEtherWallet has succumbed to a DNS hijacking attack that allowed a hacker to redirect users to a malicious version of the website.
The MEW confirmed that this was not their fault and was trying their best to identify the attacked server to fix things as soon as possible.
This topic is rapidly spreading on the Reddit forum. The attacking IP address seems to come from Russia. At the time of writing, 25,000 ETH ($ 17 million) has been stolen.
It is highly recommend that everyone be careful when using the MEW wallet and follow the security instructions by MEW wallet. In other words, you are advised to integrate Metamask into login and make direct transactions via Metamask. If you want to check your balance, visit https://etherscan.io/, which means you do not have to log into MyEtherwallet.com anymore, so you will avoid the hidden potential risk here.

I haven't heard the news yet, but I really felt sorry for those people who lost their money/coins due to hacking. I hope those victims will serve the justice they deserve, it's really hard to earn money especially if you're in 3rd world country like me. That's why I am always checking the site that I am visiting which is possible for the attacks/malicious software that can steal our data especially our bank account details. We should be aware of our actions too don't download suspicious files or whatever 3rd party application that can lead to penetration of our private files. Anyway, thank you for informing use brother.

Before investing in something, you have to prepare yourself for the pros and cons of it. Do some research and read reviews especially from other investors or traders out there. If you're stress about your losses, just hold your coin even if it turns negative, why? because the market is so volatile just have the patience to hold your coins and wait for the right time to sell your coin. When engaging in digital currency market it's just a matter of patience when it comes to holding, is all about selling and buying tokens in perfect time.
Like any get-rich-quick scheme, bitcoin scams thrive on the gullibility of its victims. Just because it's a digital currency doesn't mean you can acquire wealth quickly.
Since digital currency is mainstream right now, we can't deny that there are a group of people who abuse it just to scam other people. The only way to protect ourselves from a scammer is to do a background research on the company or people that we are dealing with. We should be careful on the "too good to be true" offers because there is no shortcut to success.

I do my research and gained knowledge especially from the experience of professional traders before I have invested in cryptocurrency. Of course I have loss money too, because I need money for my needs especially for my family that's why I have encased in no time. Basically, I used to invest for a long-term and hold my coin until reaches its highest value or my desired profit. The only way to do this is to be patient and do not panic sell if you see digital currency market falling down. Buying and selling in perfect time is my bread and butter of a good trader.

Way back 2015 I resigned from my job which is a database coordinator in an IT company here in the Philippines and several months later my friend introduce me the BTC so I did my research and I used all my savings to invest in BTC back then and that was very cheap which cost more or less 100$. Taking risk sometimes is good because this might bring fortune to ourlives, I have encash all my profit last DEC 2017. I love learning new things especially for those people sharing their knowledge and experience in crypto.
There has been a lot of talk about crypto addictions and depression, sometimes resulting in suicide. Do you think it would be a good idea to create a forum for such kind of help or advice, where people can voice their fears or just be heard and supported.
I heard much news about the effect of BTC especially to investors/traders/holders who get depressions and what worse ended up killing themselves because they lost a lot of money in the digital currency market. I agree with you, we need the help of experienced traders to create a community so people will guide along its way to avoid this kind of problem in the future. As a newbie, we should be responsible for our actions and we must do some research about the pros and cons before engaging in cryptocurrency market.
Yes, i think bounty i good for newbies. Because it has no risk of loosing money and you will experience the market.
I agree with you, according to my friend which is a full member here he never invests any of his money in digital currencies instead he uses his reward from bounty to enter the market. He only invested time and effort to earn of those coins and makes money in trading. I want to experience that too and I want to join in bounty in order to learn more about others experience and meet new people.

it depends on your decision or strategy dude. In my opinion, do not focus on one crypto currently in my experience I'm holding plenty of altcoins right now but I saved up money for BTC and I bought at the dip when it was 6000$. Right now BTC went up to 8,000$ which is I earn a profit a lot. I'm still waiting for altcoins to pump up to its highest value this 2018 especially ETH that could possibly hit more or less 3,000$. 
The best you can do is to hold both BTC and ETH right now because of its potentiality and sustainability.Hello Folk, is it the time for ethreum to lead from the front ? It will happen but not this year or next year, but I know ETH would replace BTC someday as being the no.1 digital currency in the market. A lot of people starting to lose trust in BTC because of they lost a huge amount of money investing in BTC. We can't predict the market as of now because its so volatile the only thing that we can do is to hope and make people invest in altcoin especially ETH.

Today, when I open huobi, I saw the price rise so high. I really regret not investing in the last one month when the price got so low...
Take that as a challenge dude, next time don't miss the chance/dips to buy or invest coins on it. This may bring you huge profits if the market rises up again. I have been there before many times until I always save up money in order to buy coins at dips.
Which altcoins have potential to grow like Bitcoin?
I bet ETH is one of those have a potential to grow, we can't really tell but I think ETH is the only altcoin that can go against BTC as being the number one digital currency in the market.
Recently Bloomberg posted the information that it took hackers less than 10 years to steal over 14% of all existing Bitcoins and Ethereum from the wallets of their holders. The total sum they have stolen is more than $1,2 billion! How to protect yourself from hackers attacks? Are you afraid of this stuff?
Some hackers will target our digital currency wallets or our exchanger so that would hard for us to protect our coins because this will be on the wallet/exchanger side. In our side, whe should be vigilant in our actions by not sharing our usernames/passwords/credential that is related to our tokens/coins. We have to be more cautious on browsing on the internet, a malware can steal our credential on it.

For long-term investment. BTC and ETH would be your best choice because of its potential, security, and sustainability. Although BTC is unstable you will earn a lot of profit on it if you know how to market works. Having patience is your key to success in long-term investment, why? because if you see the market is falling down and immediately sold your token (panic sell) and suddenly it pumps way up its a big loss for you. Buy tokens at dips and hold until it reaches the highest value.

ETH would be your best choice if you want to hold and see a result within 2 years. According to experienced traders, ETH can hit 3000$ this 2018 which is really good to invest with. I think ETH would be the next no.1 digital cryptocurrency in the market and this is the only crypto that can compete with BTC.
I'm using this wallet for all my transaction and over a year now. I can say that this is the best and most secured wallet I've ever used. I never experienced delayed coin transfer from myetherwallet to KuCoin which is my exchanger.
