Has anyone had any success in finding a server on Electrum, Sparrow, or another popular wallet that supports broadcasting of transactions that pay below 1 sat/vByte? Besides Blue Wallet, have other software clients signaled that they will make changes in this regard?

You might want to try using Bitcoin Core with the following entry in your bitcoin.conf file:

Code:
settxfee=<your_desired_fee>

According to  [urlhttps://bitcoincore.org/en/doc/22.0.0/rpc/wallet/settxfee/]official documentation[/url] this parameter has replaced the older paytxfee option starting from version 22.0.

If you're using Bitcoin Core not only as a wallet but also as the full node consider adding the following as well:

Code:
minrelaytxfee=<your_value>

P.S. I've noticed that transactions with fees below 1 sat/vB are becoming increasingly common, which definitely  is the nice move.

Re: How to Export/Import Labels In Popular Wallets

I will make an update in my OP to mention that label exports only work with Envoy (hot) standalone wallets.

Right, besides, it seems that those exported files can’t be imported into wallets that support the BIP 329 import feature, since the files are encrypted. They can only be used through their Magic Backup service. Looks like they're targeting "pea-gooses" with this approach. BTW, I have uninstalled Envoy from my Android because after upgrading to the latest 2.01 their Magic Backups is always turned on and I can not deactivate it. Looks like a bug form their side.

Also, in the Club World Cup, Chelsea did not meet a top team till they met PSG in the final, and yeah, they were very good in the final, but that doesn't mean they are that good.
Also, it was expected of Chelsea to win the Conference League. It would have been very disgraceful if they didn't win it because they have spent way more money than every other team in that competition, and they are the biggest club there. This may not be something Chelsea fans will like to hear, but it's my opinion. Chelsea doesn't look like a team that can win the league.
The CWC shouldn't be used as a benchmark, but with the improvements and results achieved in terms of trophies, including last season's Conference League and CWC trophies, Chelsea certainly has a slightly greater fighting spirit as they look forward to the upcoming season and correct the mistakes of previous seasons, which were devastated by geopolitical issues.

Chelsea achieved several positive results last season, and now they simply need to build on their previous performance.
This will certainly be a bit difficult, especially since several big clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool are also starting to improve. Of course, being in the top four last season after two seasons of complete failure means high expectations are certainly awaited for the upcoming season.

I believe the most important thing here isn’t just that Chelsea won the Club World Cup trophy, but that they beat PSG to do it  and did so with the lopsided score. It proves the team has the great potential to become champions in the 2025/26 season. This potential  is also boosted by their recent transfers including Brazilian talents like João Pedro and Estevao, Liam Delap (from Ipswich Town) and Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund.

В частности отмечаются уязвимости используемых сетевых протоколов, логики, применяемых библиотек, кодирования, авторизации, среды загрузки и многие другие. Всё перечислять здесь не стану. Кому интересно изучайте.

When you access "Advanced Backups", is the option not there at all or is it greyed out?

No such option at all.

That option downloads (which means exports) a file with all your settings and metadata (labels) that you can save on your device. I don't see an import button. How do you import your labels from the same downloaded file or another BIP-329 compatible file?

This means import rather than export.

It may be used after wallet restoring from SEED you know and  any BIP-329 comparable file relevant to this SEED labels are bound to addresses that in turn are bound to SEED. Just tap the relevant file:

My predictions for the top six this season are

- Liverpool
- Manchester City
- Chelsea
- Tottenham
- Arsenal
- Aston Villa

Of all the teams I mentioned, they seem to be the ones who will be consistent in every match.

So, you took the six teams  at the top of the Premier League as of the last match in 24/25 and replaced Newcastle with Tottenham. I'm curious why did you make that change? Is it related to the transfers of Morgan Gibbs-White and Marc Guéhi or do you have another reason? Predicting the top six for 25/26 season is the tough call for me right now especially since ongoing transfers could significantly shift the forces alignment in the field. That said, I do believe Liverpool and Chelsea will definitely remain in the top six.

With the release of Envoy app 2.0.1, the software has added an option to export labels and tags in BIP-329 format. I believe that only exporting works as there doesn't seem to be an import feature.

Here is how you can do that:

* Foundation Devices and Envoy App
Supports exporting labels: Yes

Envoy supports exporting of labels and tags as .json files in BIP-329 format.

How to export labels using the Envoy app:

1. From the Account selection, click on the two horizontal lines on the top left.
2. Click "Backups."
3. Click "Advanced Backups."
4. Select "Export Tags & Labels (BIP-329)" and select a location where you want to save the file.
5. Click "Save."

@Pmalek, above instruction is only for account  relevant to Envoy mobile standalone wallet.  If account is related to paired Passport device in my case it is Passport Core then there is no option to export/import labels and tags.

Besides, in fact for Envoy mobile standalone wallet there is an option to import  labels and tags in BIP-329 format:

1) From the Account selection, tap on the two horizontal lines on the top left.
2) Tap "Backups."
3) Tap "Advanced Backups."
4) Tap "Download Settings&Metadata..."

Has the default minrelayfee in Bitcoin Core config been updated to 100 sats/KB or something?

To make it that value or lower for a newer version of Bitcoin Core is the only way that these sub-1sat transactions would be allowed to propagate, or else they would have been discarded by the nodes.

That, or Bitcoin Knots made that adjustment.

I believe miners are free to set the minrelayfee themselves, and their reasoning for choosing the particular low value is based on the assumption that it's better to mine the chock-full blocks rather than half-empty ones. That's why we're currently seeing blocks filled with those sub-1 sat/vB transactions. One of such block is 906805 which is filled with the sub-1 sat/vB transactions containing inscriptions.

Re: TANGEM WALLET: An Innovative Seedles Cold Wallet Setup
by
satscraper
on 23/07/2025, 08:41:38 UTC
^ You talk of 10 Bitcoins, meanwhile I can't trust these instant exchanges even with single exchange of 10k usd.

I’d like to highlight one feature of Tangem that I personally find valuable, i.e.commission-free stablecoin swapping. This is made possible through the Changelly platform
Commission-free swaps seem attractive at first but using a service like Changelly to do it through doesn't. Like ChangeNOW, those are selective scammers. They are legit enough to not be called complete scammers but love to hustle their users every now and then and when the spoils are worth the negative press. I would be very careful with them, and use them with small amounts only and as a last resort if there was no better service around for the same swap I needed to do.
Wow, thanks for warning. I didn’t know about this. I’ve used Tangem’s built-in swapping feature a few times and everything went smoothly those times, so I thought the services they use were quite reliable. I didn’t swap large amount no more than $100 but now I’ll definitely think twice before doing it again. It might be better to not paying attention on zero commissions they offer and just use external exchange services instead.

Nothing should happen with hundred dollars or even few thousand I guess, as Pmalek said — spoils must be worth negative press — they would not want to ruin their name for little amounts.

Agreed. That's why I'm swapping no more than a couple of hundred at a time. I know Tangem isn't the only wallet that relies on Changelly many online exchanges also use its swapping service. Even some crypto card providers depend on it, so any loss of reputation would be extremely costly for Changelly's business.

I need to sell BTC, XRP, HBAR and 3 other altcoins in Q4 of this year. I may have to be fast.
I just have no idea how to do that non KYC. Suggestions are welcome

I've heard a lot about bisq but I have no idea how to use it

AFAIK, BTC is the only crypto traded on bisq, so it shouldn't be the problem for you to sell BTC there. As for how to use it, I have to say it's not the rocket science. Just install the app and spend couple of hours getting familiar with how it works by following the available guides. In addition to bisq, there's also bisq2, which is quite different platform that requires other app . You can install both and try them out to see which one suits you better.

Suppose, as title says — you had infinite amount of money, would you still gamble?

Hard to say for sure, but probably not. With infinite money, I doubt I’d spend time visiting gambling websites or shops. Instead, I’d probably buy some island off the coast of America and build the futuristic gambling city there. The city would be packed with technological innovations like homes with rooms that have LED walls connected directly to my casinos, gambling water park with water slides where the prize depends on how fast you descend. Things like that.

Did I miss something?

mempool.space shows transactions with the fee as low as 0.1 sat/vB in candidate blocks.

f3666861f6f498a7b2075b4129f7c3e9623caa2aa94f4b4992c30090e1a84c61 is one of them with fee 0.41 sat/vB.

Did miners change their policy regarding the minimum feerate they accept for transactions to be included in the mempool?

What tools are available to analyze the bitcoin blockchain?
I know Chainanalysis.com runs a service, but I'm not sure they would even want to help.
Are there any open source tools? Or any tools?

I think MistTrack could be helpful for you. To give you a better sense of the kind of information this service provides, I’ve included the transaction graph for address bc1qykh0vep5a567x8yhlrq0yefhyyteg5sv7dejd2 below. As you can see, it shows the transaction amounts, data, destination and source addresses, and even some doxing information on destination addresses. The best part is of this info it’s all free.

How do you know this? There have been complaints from users claiming that their funds disappeared without any apparent reason from addresses controlled by Ledger devices. It's the fact confirmed through their online backup service that Ledger's code allows for seed phrase extraction. Of course, Ledger officials deny under oath, any connection between these incidents and their close code  but the question remains at least for me whether should we trust what they are saying.

In my opinion there's no harm in wallet warning users about address reuse. Aside from the potential threat posed by quantum computers reusing addresses can lead to the loss of privacy. A warning could prompt users to think twice before proceeding, which I believe is a good thing. That’s why I voted YES.

P.S. I remember using some wallet that did show such warning, but I can’t recall which one it was probably Sparrow, should check it.

Re: Usyk - Dubois Rematch July 19 Undisputed Heavyweight, Wembley, London
by
satscraper
on 20/07/2025, 05:42:24 UTC
Bookies are also favoring Usyk, but the odds for his win are too low. Surprisingly, the odds for Dubois are also relatively low, though slightly higher than those for Usyk. Betting in boxing is definitely a risky business, I must say. I usually bet on football matches, but today I’ll test my luck in boxing. It seems like the majority are backing Usyk, so it would probably be unwise for me to go against the hive mind.
If you really want to test your luck in gambling, how about you go for the choice that most persons are not going for that is betting on Dubois to win instead of Usyk's to win. I still think that he has a chance to win and considering that many people do not think he will win he can actually win it. Just like in  the case of the club world cup finals where Chelsea went against PSG and most of the gamblers bet on PSG to win the game but we know how the game finally ended. If you're a gambler you must be willing to take the risk and these are the sort of risk that gamblers take.

I'm the type who always tries to not go against the crowd when betting. Sure, in some cases this tactic fails, but more than often it pays off just like in the recent Usyk's fight who won by KO in the fifth round. Honestly, I didn’t expect such quick victory from him. I even considered betting on the fight going the full distance thinking Usyk might win on points. Luckily,  thought it again and decided not toplace that bet.
