Did you try resyncing. I have sometimes had similar issues if my PC crashed. Deleting the blockchain and resyncing works for me.I am unable to start the server, keeps doing this

Thanks Kazadar, i have tried that with no luck.
so far i have not been able to start the server since the upgrade
i keep trying every day in hope that it will just work but it never does. also tried reinstalling the entire thing and it keeps doing the same.
if anyone else has had similar issues please let me know the fix. i dont really want to wait till the next upgrade to start forging again

It is now 2018 HEAT 2017 no major progress, and did not give investors a lot of rewards. I hope HEAT can really take off in 2018

Did you install the newest version just released yesterday? If not, that could be your issue.
I just go to the web browser to access the Heat Wallet. Thats how I've used it in the past. Is that OK?
I've checked and rechecked the pass phrase to.

Yes the webwallet works well. Another member suggested checking your paraphrase for accidental spaces in front of after. That will cause you to bring up the wrong account. You can basically type anything into the paraphrase and it will bring up an account number (empty). So double check your paraphrase because that must be it from what you have described
How do I buy heat from heat wallet if the fee is 0.001 heat when I am trying to buy heat on the heat wallet!?
When you send Bitcoin to the HEAT Wallet you automatically receive a small amount of HEAT, enough to trade with and purchase your first coins.
I sent about $20 worth of Bitcoin to my heatwallet. The Bitcoin is there, but there is no 0.001 heat for me to make any purchase.
It has now been about 2 or 3 days since it landed in the Heatwallet and still zero heat to buy anything.

Maybe you're inputting the secret phrase incorrectly - start over and double check it, if you are copy and pasting it make sure there isn't an extra space at the start. Is there something I'm missing?

I think heat has the potential to be worth a hundred to five hundred a coin at the very least. I think
