Why would anyone want to run an A9 at 1000watts for only 66-68 k/sols???

I have all mine running 58-63 k/sols and they are only pulling 750watts from the wall.

At 8 cents a kilowatt I'm making 2 cents a day more because of the lower power consumption.

And on top of that you want to charge for making the machine less efficient...

Hard pass!

if you want to modify the config files on the filesystem then you need to get the root password. if anyone can crack the password here is the hash :

Username: root
PW Hash: $6$pvnavTv2$2W/s.veJLVbb1g9qJpFO7ATNNBiOtwt.MXABU6nRVgJwuiS3WlBrRMj0avAdnHL

Username: fa
PW Hash: $6$muvIxroU$Lcuu06mrLbEONRLK312njB.RTI4dbC9QdJAZ6Bam0RnJpibRO2K62XHBKRKRo3U1IDFTtTAdXb/h.vp8vXuio1

regards

hash for root not full specified.

Here is the correct:
Code:
root:$6$pvnavTv2$2W/s.veJLVbb1g9qJpFO7ATNNBiOtwt.MXABU6nRVgJwuiS3WlBrRMj0avAdnHLt4XSfDBTyt52n7ORs.1hpj.

Decryption Result: root:envision

Use with pleasure. Smiley

@Hitsxx

thanks for helping out with the Z1 root pass, it seems that on the Z1+ the root pw has been changed. can you please help us with the Z1+ root pw. here is the hash :

root:$6$Zdo.uFbT$CIOQM3dEZygWrEBH.6iIqQ6G4vbJlf4eKE3B4QRGZ.Ecii.XFDWhxnY.o/41w7V8fJSc14lU//Myd64tO3qne/:17802:0:99999:7:::

hope you can help.

thanks
bitreo

With this hash, the password is the same - envision

It doesn't look like SSH is enabled on the Zig Z1+ at least not firmware 20181015 that kind of sucks a little bit...

I'm using MSI Afterburner with all my 12 GPU Nvidia 1070 Rigs.

You just need to make sure in the settings you have "Synchronize settings for similar graphics processors" checked. I only have to edit the settings for GPU1 and save the profile and have Afterburner start with Windows minimized and all 12 GPU's are under-volted and over-clocked even after a reboot...

Re: Baikal Giant N - Selling at COST.

on 19/04/2018, 08:01:38 UTC
Hey guys I purchased 6 of these. I sold 1 so far and have 5 left.

They will be arriving on Wednesday and will not be removed from the manufacturers packaging. Brand new.

I am trying to sell them AT COST, I am not looking for a profit here.

I am attempting to sell another 4 and keep 1 for myself.

I will accept payment via Paypal, Bitcoin, Check or cash(if local, I am located in NJ).

The final cost was $21905 divided by 6 units = $3650 each.

The final cost would be $3650 + shipping.

If anyone is interested please feel free to contact me.

I can provide proof of purchase, or anything else you require.

Thanks!

Why would anyone pay $3650 + shipping???

asicminermarketDOTcom has Free 3 day express shipping and they are only $550.00 plus ship the same day they receive payment...

download 1.4.3 if you really had devfee problem its fixed.
Also if devfee got stuck you didn't have those :

[2018-04-17 10:52:16] Pool sent a new job (ID: 606098711433573)

like hitmandn had.

[2018-04-17 10:53:05] Pool difficulty: 1531728

this is an insanely high diff the pool sets, it's a badly setup pool.
Try to set a static diff on the pool if they have that option.

V1.4.3 still old problem

well, all read all replies  and reviews about hashrate carefully, it seems you did a god miner!
though I have a question, I'm mining now turtle coin and it seems it have a little different algo? will your miner support it?

p.s. just a small feedback, I have a rig basen on ryzen cpu and 5 x rx570 GPUs and it is very convenient that xmr stack can utilize all these units by one miner..
can you add CPU support?! ))

Turtlecoin (TRTL) algo: CryptoNiteLite V1 which SRBminer already supports. Just input "lite" as the cryptonight_type in the config file for Turtlecoin

Sounds like your only running a single thread if your getting 1200h/s... I started off using XMR-Stak then tried Cast-XMR even tried Claymore 11.2/11.3 now I'm using SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.1 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3167363 running an 8 x Vega 56 rig and a 6 x Vega 56 rig. With the newer AMD 18.3.4 drivers. Stock Bios but I am running 85% pptables and OverdriveNTool for the overclock/undervolting. Check out the SRBMiner thread there are a bunch of us AMD RX Vega users in there that can help with configuring for the best hash rate and great stability...

thanks doktor for this miner (and I like the "iamagreedybastard" option, even if I don't use it!)

So about the dev pool mining. My 3 Vega rig never gets to submit any shares in the minute it is donating. Does it even help the devs when that happens?

I've noticed the same thing... I'd rather use iamagreedybastard and just donate directly to make sure you end up with something...

doktor83 you should list all your wallet addresses in the first post.

For those running Vega.  Below are some of my settings a hashrates. These are on a reference 56 running 950 mem, non soft table mods. Stock bios on the newest drivers - non-blockchain.

All below running V1 on Stellite.

Intensity/thread/worksize/hash

118/2/8/1863
119/2/8/1859
120/2/8/1888
109/2/16/1869
109.5/2/16/1892
110/2/16/1893
110.5/2/16/1932
111/2/16/1890
109.5/2/20/1851
92/2/20/1731
100/2/24/1793
105/2/24/1814
110/2/24/1832
115/2/24/1857
120/2/24/1892  *Locked Win - hard reset required after a few minutes then had to uninstall drivers and cards then re-install*

Appears worksize 16 was the sweetspot. Someone with modded cards running higher clockspeeds give it a run and post some results.

hmmm... I'll have to do some more testing... after seeing this...

I'm running stock bios XFX RX Vega 56 cards GPU 1407/950 MEM 925/900 with 85% pp tables running 6 cards pulling 1140-1160watts from the wall. Also running latest AMD Adrenalin 18.3.4 drivers.

112/2/16/1886 <--stable running V1 on Electroneum

If I turn the memory up to 950MHz then I can get into the 1920-1940 h/s but its not stable for all the cards. Now with the latest version and the logging is improved I should be able to narrow down the card or cards that are giving me issues.

Miner 1.3.2 cant't shutdown if crash detected. System also can't reboot in this case. Only reset can help.
CPU usage in this case is 99%

Also in version 1.3.2 i can't see which card is crashed.

I am having this same issue. The only thing in the log file shows "watchdog: GPU crash detected, miner will try to restart" and then it hangs with 99% CPU usage. Version 1.3.1 didn't do this.

Can you add in the logging which GPU ID crashed to help narrow down hardware issues. Right now I don't see how logging is of any help.

So with 5 machines I'm clearing $150 a day on SUMO...What's the catch? Seems like a good deal but I'm skeptical that can last....

You can't mine SUMO with an ASIC anymore so you would make $0.00 a day on SUMO... that is THE CATCH!
