Today out of nowhere I started getting an error in my API (The API returned an error: EGeneral: Temporary lockout)

I know this is supposed to be caused by too many API calls and unlock after 15 minutes. First I am not doing too many calls, and 2nd it isn't ever unlocking. Are there any reports of other people having issues? What could be causing this and or what can fix it?

Imports and API for gdax and coinbase don't work for shit. Numbers are totally off. This is the #1 exchange and you can't read their imports properly? WTF are you doing?

Well so long. I'm officially done with Kraken. The money I can make arbing it just isn't worth it. I just don't trust the site.

Here's my new favorite. I put a "post limit order only" in. It posts at say a buy at $296 I get a couple filled out of 100. Then the order just closes saying 2 filled out of 100. This means it's pulling the order out of the book and reposting and at that time it's no longer a limit order so it just cancels the transaction. I've seen this happen many times.

So long kraken. It's a damn shame too because I loved your fees. Mine were super low because I traded millions in volume. Not anymore. Your shit liquidity just got worse.

Actually withdrawal transfers are listed as $500k per MONTH for tier 4, but when you actually go to withdraw any amount over $50k for the YEAR, they lock the transfer and take months to give you your money back and that is when they inform you the limits are $50k/year. You would think they would switch the limits advertised as $500k month on their site.

Who runs an exchange that doesn't operate properly and needs work, but continues to sign more people up and accept their money when they know they can't handle the traffic? Defies all fucking logic. This hasn't just been a week or a month. They have the means to make shit work, but CHOOSE not to. They literally just sit and choose not to do a fucking thing about it. I'd love to hear someone from the company tell me otherwise.

So when I make 50 trades a day I need to open 50 support tickets? Or when I try and make 200 trades and not 1 goes through, costing me money I should open 200 support tickets?

How about when it says my order hasn't gone through then I see 20 minutes later the order I tried to put in 5 times, now just got filled 5 times.

Just fix the shit.

Is there a way to be able to trade on your site when it's busy? 90% of the time my orders don't even show up. I've even tried the API. Is there a certain trading program you know that executes fastest at your site, or does everyone deal with the same conditions. I see orders going through so someone must have a way.

I've been having a hell of a time trading. As said, I've seen orders in the book that I try to sell or buy from and they don't go through. I even just had a limit buy order in that showed up on the book, then a minute later a big sell came and pushed right down through my limit buy order. Then I see my limit order is gone and was never even filled. It's like they have those fucking bots jumping in front of you at all times, then when it's not going to work out for them they cancel your shit.

Do not deposit anything until they get their fiat issues fixed. Many people are reporting they deposit and the funds are never credited to the account. And still no response from kraken.

Right now they are having massive issues with fiat transfers. So why the hell does anyone want to try and deal in fiat with them?

If you can't handle your customers, stop accepting them! No more new accounts until you get the existing ones squared away. Is it really that hard?

I have $83,000 stuck in limbo for 2 weeks now. I'm tier 4 and when I went to withdraw, I was told my limits were reduced from $500,000 to $50,000. So I tried to cancel the withdrawal. It has said "cancel requested" for 2 weeks now and not 1 response from support on many tickets. So my money isn't in my account and it's not being wired to me either. I even wrote a physical letter and mailed it to kraken certified and it said it was delivered to an individual.

This is really starting to scare the shit out of me. I'm a few days away from buying a plane ticket and coming to see kraken in person if this isn't resolved.

I think the story sounds legit. I rode the passionate bitcoin bull train before and I never let it get to that extreme, but I'm sure I talked about it to my wife at dinner a lot. You really think you would have held from pennies to 30 and held through the crash to 1 then held to 200 then back down to 50 then up to 1200. NO.. you would have taken profits all over the place. You would have done well.. but if 100k is a lot to you.. you wouldn't have watched dwindle away in the first bubbles. Could you sleep at night knowing you have $1mil in BTC and int he super volatile conditions then/ now it could be gone any day? No.. you would have sold for much less.
