Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE
by

I lost in the last hours way more LTC than I should have lost based on my percentage of the bankroll (around 2.5 times as much). I'm at -61% ROI, but the bankroll didn't decrease that much. How is that possible?

the same thing is with me and I'm just thinking about it. I'm starting to be suspicious about the regularity.
the only logical explanation is that the winner reinvested all of his win amounts. So, we have almost the same, only other investors are owners.

When I brought up the subject I got ignored or called a frustrated investor...smallest loss in crypto for me by far so im fine.

Well how is this possible?
Well think about it this way. Lets say the player has luck and manages to bet flat 49.5% bets with 40 LTC 10,000  times.
Now he should be winninig 4950 times and losing 5050. Now let him have some luck and win nothing and win and loss is equal.
The bankroll now shouldnt have lost anything. But:
"Technically we are moving 0.5% of the wagered amount from the bankroll to the commission fund as bets happen,..."
40LTC and that 10,000 times... that hurts^^

Now imagine that the bankroll also lost.

Then imagine the guy losing it again with 1000 of bets on the way back up to the previous site profit.
Well say hello to commission taken on the way up again from the bankroll.

It is sick and probably the only downside to this method of taking commission.

On any wager no matter how many that is. He wouldnt even have to win a lot for investments to get slaughtered if placed he 10,000 of bets.
To be fair ...yes the rakeback system needs feeding.

Dear Ethan,

if the above is true and thats what really happened, it would be wise to find a way that this can't be abused.
It would be a possibility for an inside job. I'm NOT accusing you of doing so. Just showing what could be possible.
You guys were into the bankroll anyway. And this is the advantage if you were trying to take on the other investments.
If you started to play just like that....well you'd take the rakeback and any spare commissions.

People have to blind trust a lot. Anything you have to blind trust less is good for yolodice.
There has to be some other way in the future for players, investors and you as an owner.

I didn't really think about the new commission system.
Because if I had thought twice about what it means I wouldnt have done so.

My personal interest is to be investing in YOLOdice again if something may change that works out for everyone.

If someone comes up with "ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE" ...you know what you may do with yourself.
Im just pointing out something and if it is not true just try to falsify my post in a constructive and for everyone understandable way.

That's also what I noticed, the user interface needs an overhaul to make it easy to use for ordinary people who are accustomed to one click VPN connection. I just read the latest news updates the devs posted in Medium. There's a lot coming soon. I think this project is undervalued by the market. Smiley

Yeah they planned to improve the UX experiment in the next weeks, and also planned to push out a mobile version in the next 6/8 weeks. I totaly agree, its probalby the most undervalued coin. If i could, i would to fill a huge bag at this current price.
Wait and See... Smiley

For me, it's a no brainer.  A $100 investment or less will not break the bank. It is even feasible to invest as little as $50 or $20. Just keep the Lethean coins and wait for the crypto bull market to be in full swing or even wait for the next market peak. All altcoins will rise. As they say in the stock market, a rising tide lifts all boats  in a bull market. If we play the long game, we can get a decent profit in crypto from projects with real working products like Lethean.

I would love to see them bringing a  way better product. Something could actually have a real future. Even if I don't like the attitude of talking about profits, I fear that the devs will run out of runway to early if something doesnt happen real soon. Developement could grow much more rapid with a decent budget :/

I have funds on my ITNS and was wondering how to convert it. I have my private key and tried to use it on lethean wallet but not working. Anyone can help me?

Thanks

Had the same issue:
so I have sent my ITNS to TradeOgre exchange and there was credited under the LTHN ticket, than I send them back to the last wallet version
Im afraid to use unreliable exchange. Is there any way to do it on cold storage?

I hope I can help. First of all if you still have an intense wallet and itns coins there nothing to worry about as long as you still have the wallet or the private keys. For those who have the private keys you can just download the new wallet and check the folloing documentation:

https://github.com/LetheanMovement/lethean/issues/41
or far below:->

For those who want to create a cold storage lethean.io provides a paper wallet html for download which you may run on any offline system (for example with linux tails).
It's just a rebrand so it's still the same blockchain! +Monero rebase
For your coins saftey always check the checksum and/or make a test with multiple addresses coming from paperwallet generators and use random numbers of these generated to check if it worked.
You could also just download the current wallet and use it on a linux tails version which I consider also a safe way.

In my case i actually ripped the wlan from a laptop and removed the harddrive and made a linux tails boot cd Cheesy

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Open your Wallet GUI application
Open the wallet that you wish to migrate to a new rebase wallet
Go to File -> Export key
The text will be 256 characters long. It will look like this:

Not a real key Tongue

0B33DFD38FED54CBA53521ABC40DDE3F75C7E38BFF7A962075C9FFDD4D74A0C08B053DD8B520274 E4EBFB003ACBAC24B1AAD8CDDFFD43375F2751FF50DBCCD396D40F8A2C0A9F9D70EE536EBF12E73 238923935067E4AC317AC577030B73B15327C33FE709E411BE0225DE049B2375DB2CC935CC7355F 439F8264CC14EF88DC5

Temporarily copy this key to a notepad file. We will need this in a moment.

(Determine your Secret and Public View/Spend Keys )

That one big 256 character string is actually four separate 64 character keys. We need to separate them out so we know what we're dealing with. Just add a return/line break after each 64 characters so you get your 4 keys. They are in a very specific order.

Spend Public
View Public
Spend Secret
View Secret
Using our fake key as an example, we would separate that out to...

Spend Public: 0B33DFD38FED54CBA53521ABC40DDE3F75C7E38BFF7A962075C9FFDD4D74A0C0

View Public: 8B053DD8B520274E4EBFB003ACBAC24B1AAD8CDDFFD43375F2751FF50DBCCD39

Spend Secret: 6D40F8A2C0A9F9D70EE536EBF12E73238923935067E4AC317AC577030B73B153

View Secret: 27C33FE709E411BE0225DE049B2375DB2CC935CC7355F439F8264CC14EF88DC5

Again, do NOT share these. Moving along, we can now convert our wallet to the new XMR Rebase using these keys.

I've been mining Lethean coin yesterday for 4 hours without any balance increase.
And another 4 hours of mining today with same result.

Is https://pool.letheancoin.com/ working?

Please check and advise!

As far as i can see the pool hasn't been finding any blocks  the Last 2 days. But two today. So you should have got a reward by now.
Remember that you only get rewards when the Pool find's Blocks. Long term it doesnt matter If you mine on a pool with low hashrate. Youll get the Same reward over time as If you were mining on a pool which mines blocks regulary.

demon failed to start where to see the log file?

You mean the letheand.exe? If so try to run it as admin.

i can't even find it on my pc, there is letheand-wallet-gui-exe i can assume it's the same?

For now you need to run  "letheand" AND the "lethean-wallet-gui".

In some cases (happens to me everytime I download a new version) the common antivirus programs put the "letheand" into quarantine as soon as they detect it. This will be dealt with later. Please check you av to put these two exe's on exception. Hope i can help Cheesy

This is how your folder should look like and if your missing one of those two an AV probably "quarantized" it ^^

Additional PSU on a miner - 3.3V/5V without load = bad?
by
yakavetta
on 16/01/2018, 17:29:31 UTC
I was wondering if a PSU which is used for mining that doesn't have a mainboard needs load on the 3.3V/5V  main power plug.

Read something about the coils and or capacitor on 3.3/5V being unable to unload resulting in peaks switching on/off which may damage the PSU. Not to sure what I read there Cheesy

Please only reply if you know it in theory if it is "ok" to use the PSU without 3.3/5V load or not.
I know it "works" somehow. Want to know it technically.

Thx in advance.

So many reactions, but too many to all read. To much FUD which interacts with the information needed.

Simple question: mining generates coins (that is easy).

1. How and when does PoS start working?
2. For PoS a node is needed (expected Q4 2018) - how many coins are needed?

And please stop referring questions to discord. I have to many channels to follow - which in the end results in reading a zillion topics on BCT, a zillion topics on Discord and telegram is also pretty much continiously going off..

And what about read the whitepaper, roadmap, team updates, etc, etc, etc on the first page of this thread?
Zillion that, zillion that... go to do u homework and look for the information that u need...

i did read. there are no clear answers. How did you think i get to q4? It was stated in the roadmap. But i didnot findd the answers. I read the last 12 pages but no answers.

But thank you for your incredible help. You must be a credit to society by your ability to provide people with answers instrad of a generic response which is even not justified.

Afaik there will be no reward for pos but you can get coins for using your wallet as exitnode for vpn as soon it is Public.
But when that will be ...no idea. But i assume thats why most people are asking about Pos.

If I search the discord chat for the devs name I do see multiple activities in the last 6 hours. No specific news but them helping out people. Take a look (Discord desktop version not the web version)
It's only a small team and a huge project imo.

Dear developers! I do not think, that ignoring of community is the best variant in this situation. Please, give us some words!

I don't get the feeling that they ignore anyone if you confront them directly on discord for example.

What really isn't good for "the situation" is that post of your's with this slight accusation.
No offence
People first checking this thread see that and may think...wow...devs abandoned the project?

Not to sure what the current issue is (can't find the post) but if it has to do with exchanges messing stuff up.
It's not in the devs power to change anything about that specific exchange.

Did you talk to Coinomi wallet team to support ITNS?
They are usually happy to list new coins into their great Android wallet and ask coin teams to contact them for that.

Please do PM the devs in Discord  about that if they miss this post. I like that idea.

Does anyone know why the network hashrate fluctuates that much? It´s between 30 and 8 MH/s.

4 posts above your. Those are nicehash orders which either run out of credit or don't pay enough so the miners move on to better prices until the order gets updated.

Okay consider the following and make a prediction.

Concern on the nicehash power on the pools:

Peaks on the network were around 30 MH/s
Base hashrate is around 5 MH/s

Highest price on the market is 0.4291 BTC/MH/DAY
Lowest price on the market is 0.3602 BTC/MH/DAY

If this was one individuals order... he's willing to pay somewhat
9 BTC every day to get 83% of the daily INTENSE mined  -> 1,130,400/Day atm

He or she would get around 941996 INTENSE each day @  955 sat/intense
through nicehash.

What do you think about this? Good for the price, bad for the small miners?

there is no airdrop for the last week... is that for everyone or only for me?

Don't know why I acutally bother posting again...hope others see the post before posting...not to sure why?

0945 PM UTC is the deadline for meeting min requirements....

After that time don't you think you wanna give the "responsible" person/group some time validating if the participants actually met the requirments...

Hashvault does not send coins, stocks.exchange no deposit coins.
what are the problems?

It is possible for payouts to be delayed by more than 6 hours on some pools. "Difficult" times atm   xD

For stocks.exchange....some exchanges have problems with crediting coins when you mine directly to their address. If you want to be safe mine to your own wallet first and try sending with the
minimum required amount for deposit on stocks.exchange.

What would be the best CPU miner for intel and intense out there?

Im also using GPU so don't say anything about not using cpu....it's 1.8 khs lying around doing nothing
For CPU mining there's xmr-stak and claymore's miner. There are some others, but I think these two are the best. Try both, they don't really take too much time to set up. In my experience they're usually quite close in terms of hashrate, but this might depend on the CPU you're using.

Thank you very much Cheesy I already tried the xmr-stak but forgot about claymore   not really new to this.

So first off
I've noticed https://intense.hashvault.pro using a new laylout/site setup.

Secondly I have a question. With some cpus...erm lying around doing nothing I get 1.8 khs mining monero xmr-stak-win64
since this algo isnt cryptonite lite algo...or some other version.
With intense friendly cpu mining software i get a bit less. ~1400

What would be the best CPU miner for intel and intense out there?
