Well if alts are able to pull through this kind of project then btc of course can as well though it'll of course need a lot of work considering bitcoin's large following. Though it'll push convenience in using it a lot forward.

And this will happen, we can't avoid it. Logically, banknotes and metals come out as payment instruments, after several years there have been innovations in credit cards, ATMs and other payment cards. Obviously, this can happen also in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
