I think jobs may considered toxic already if it comes to the point that you became a prisoner of it — the moment you can no longer go for a vacation, have a lovelife or do anything which makes you happy.

It is true that the regular jobs or what they called 9-5 is vital because that is your starting point if you are not from a rich family. Having a job is not a thing to be ashamed of because it will give you a regular source of income where you can use to save extra money and later on, you can use it to fund your passion or invest it into the things that will bring you more money.
