Ich bin der Meinung, dass die SEC 2018? gesagt hat, neben Bitcoin scheint auch ETH keine Security zu sein. Aufgrund der Tatsache, dass es 2018 schon dezentral war, ist die SEC nicht dafür zuständig und es braucht auch nicht im nachherein registriert zu werden.

Yes, das war groß und breit auf diversen Crypto-Seiten. Der wichtige Punkt ist, dass die Kryptowährung bereits genügend dezentralisiert sein muss:
