if you study people's reaction to bitcoin anonymity, it looks very low, which indicate the anonymity is at a degree some people can know. Recently an agency put up some fund to find out the breakage of the privacy or anonymity of monero, however , monero is not outperforming other coin in the space with the privacy. Privacy is no more the attractive feature for coins and bitcoin is not considering to improve it.

bitcoin is said to be pseudo anonymous or not fully private . i also remember that thread or article you are talking about monero , did they break it and find something interesting on that research ? too bad that there are people that will waste fund for that .

monero is still leading the way tho when it comes to privacy stuffs , that shows that people are really obsessed when it comes to anonymity
