If a player like Rodri for Manchester City deserves it last season, then a midfielder who has done more likewise achieved more than Rodri also deserves it. Vitinha has been superb for both club and country. But then, Ousman Dembele will be voted in my opinion. The Ballon d'Or is purely back by PR because why will Barcelona fans project Lamine Yamal for the Ballon d'Or when Raphinha had numbers than him. Oliseh of Bayern Munich also had a better season than Lamine Yamal.

Cristiano Ronaldo will always say, numbers is everything, same goes to statistics is always correct and if you check, Raphinha also merits this above Lamine Yamal.

Personally I don't think Rodri deserved the ballon d'or last year but his performance from EURO couldn't be ignored so I guess in a way deserve it but if we take his performance only from Man City then he didn't deserve it.

Vitinha has been majestic for PSG this season and he is my Ballon D'or no matter what. Sure , most of the vots will go to Dembele most likely but I won't be surprised to see Vitinha actually winning it. Cool
