But the chance of him still sitting on the bench is quite high, especially if Alonso decides to buy someone in his position. In general, the player has the right to think about leaving for another team now, just to protect himself from sitting on the bench and losing playing time, which will harm his game just by the fact that this game practice will not be available

I find it hard to believe that Rodrygo would leave Real Madrid the fees they're quoting would be too much for buyer they'll need to reduce it to around 70 or €75m if they really want to sell him this season.  Anyways Xabi Alonso would know the importance of keeping Rodrygo probably when it's the middle of the year and they need back up players due to fatigue. Alonso should just give him a trial in the pre-season and if the doesn't impress then he can be loaned or sold before the league starts.

Even though he won't always be benched, but as a superstar, he always willing to get minutes. Getting less minutes will only make him feel frustrated. The better he goes to the new club instead of staying much longer with a lot of uncertainty regarding his future.

I don't think that it's Rodrygo that is anxious of leaving Real Madrid, rather it is his manager that is pushing for that moves because he feels that Rodrygo isn't given enough time to play on the field. Left for Rodrygo alone, he still has passion playing for Real Madrid and believes he will definitely get on spot as part of Madrid first eleven in future.

Alonso certainly still needs Rodrygo, even though he's not in the starting lineup. He can be used as a backup. The problem now is that Rodrygo no longer wants to be at Real Madrid and wants to move to a team that will give him a starting spot to further develop his career. I think that's understandable.

Real Madrid's high price tag is quite realistic considering Rodrygo's excellent qualities. However, so far I haven't seen any strong rumors from other teams. So, even if no team is willing to meet that target to sign Rodrygo, Real Madrid can still use this player to maintain the team's stability in attack.

Yet again another circle of business that keeps me wondering how Arsenal negotiates, they have identified that they lack a proper center forward over the last three seasons but have gone ahead to sign players over this period that have similar fees to what they will pay to get a striker. I am not totally against this Medueke signing because honestly the team need a very good squad depth but €60m for a player looking to be coming from bench while the negotiations for a striker is yet to materialize into anything at the moment with sporting standing firm with their demands

Sporting president has just said that they can actually Gyokere for as long as his contract remains until a club comes to pay the full release clause, the player himself is doing is own bit of work to get to Arsenal. First by reducing his wages and now by protesting against Sporting to accept a reasonable offer from Arsenal but Arsenal is spending the money first on a player not looking to start. This is absurd to me.


If Rodrigo stays he will definitely get minutes and not languish on the bench because he is versatile and can play every attacking position which will be key for him. But the problem will be he will have his game time drastically reduced and with next year been a World Cup year he would want to get more playing time now for him to get selected and be in a very good shape for the tournament

Alonso is good in handling those problems, but if there are thee offensive players who are in better shape or more effective, I don't think Alonso will value loyalty over performance.

Now it has to be said that Rodrygo is still a good striker or wing player. It's not like he is so bad that he should leave the club no matter what. The problem is whether Rodrygo would accept to barely be a starter most of the time.

So far it's possible that it will be Vinicius Junior, Mbappe and Rodrygo as their attack. it's not a given that he is sitting on the bench.
