GMO foods produced are for importation to other countries. Countries who import food they can grow in their country tend to practice GMO and another reason is to enhance the food they produce in the lab so they sell more in the trade market than other countries making the same supplies.

In Nigeria we produce, more than 60% of the food we eat. Only few are imported even when we can also produce them here too. Meaning, I believe our government will not agree to GMO in Nigeria.

Honestly speaking a trackings back in time i think our Nigeria should be know for abundance nature resources including palm oil and i think has one of the blessed lands in the world record, Nigeria is known for its lands in terms of agriculture potential filled with raw sweet vegetables, why should the government accept a worng unhealthy food diet to the country, i think from i could most of those food where been used for research and reserve honestly speaking i most say it will be a big slap to the country for accepting such and unhealthy foods project, the government should really not have a second through or think about food products because from what had most countries are alre already having to bad mouth the product.

I think the time and effort and energy the Government see try to focus i really suggest it should be channel the country agricultural systems which got me think that the government are really confused in terms of agriculture potential for the massive.
