Re: Advice from a stranger

Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
During this market conditions, whatever you invest in and the project survive, will make you profit. The new altcoins have high X potential, true, but the tricky part is to evaluate which project has potential, survivability and can bring some kind of innovation or improvements to the blockchain.

I agree with the opinion with the people before me. Seems like it's a scam.. Excluding the moon percentages that they are promising, I have looked up the site, couldn't find the team neither there neither on linkedin.. They have quite botted replies in the Trustpilot review and botted twitter.. Definitely don't invest there

It will be fluctuating around and can fall even more, as all guys before me said "it's bear market and in crypto everything is possible". Keep in mind that all the things  you gather now and survive the bear market, will rise again  Roll Eyes

The beauty of the Bear Market is that real projects stands out and keep building. Most important thing in such conditions is to determine which projects will survive the market. Everything else is a matter of time since everything that have survive will rise in price when the bear is gone.

Near and SOL are good picks.
As people before me said, don't invest all your money in those 5. There is a lot to come!
The market is great, because will be cleansed of projects. Keep an eye for the projects that are building and making progressing in this market. They are most likely to survive and last in the future.

This applies for all kind of projects to be honest. Since one trending project, generate hundreds that are coping it in attempt to success. Sometimes there are projects which expand the idea on the next level which actually worth attention and admires (providing more utilities and bigger specter of development)
Being innovative and creative, finding your own path is the key for recognition and success.

June is almost over and probably July will be the same. Ups and downs. I don't think we have seen yet the bottom, world wide a lot of stuff are happening which will continue to affect the markets.
Still having a low entry on crypto is better than missing it while waiting the bottom  Roll Eyes

Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects

i a thinking to participate in their presale but i am afraid of losing money.so I need suggestions may be you guys know better than me.

If you have doubt then don't.  Never invest on any project that you are not comfortable with. Meaning, after you have done all your researches and still ended with doubt, then better keep away from them.  It will save you lots of stress and worries.

It really depends on your risk tolerance. When you're investing money you will always have doubts, but look into the risks and benefits that the project has. Do a market research, check their competitors and make a conclusion which projects worth it more in that "move to earn" category for example. And when you invest always consider that the money you put might be lost  Roll Eyes

Re: Does staking even make any sense
by

How do people even enjoy staking their coins and tokens? I'm confused, yesterday I tried to stake some amount of stable coin aka USDT on Binance Exchange and it is worth 1000$ but the return on this in a year is 95$ lol, I laughed so hard that I almost flipped my laptop, why the heck people doing this?.
Based on the estimation of having earned 9.5% annual profit, that's a realistic result even though the interest is higher than the bank and if you use $ 1k then the profit is not much but the profit is guaranteed. At least you prepare $10k funds then it will get $950 in a year.
Exactly.. it's all up to numbers and 9.5% sounds right.
Higher rewards from staking = higher risk

Re: Are NFT Tokens a Good Long Term Investments?

It depends on the project that released those NFTs in the first place, the success of the NFT depends on how demanding the project is, if the project has no demanding utilities the NFTs will fail to have good values.
Totally agree with you. It really depends on the project itself and what utilities the NFTs have and for how long those utilities will last

Re: What’s the weirdest NFT project you’ve ever seen?
by
2lica
on 30/03/2022, 12:43:37 UTC
Could be the Lana Rhoades story. She created her own NFT collection, collected some money and then just left. Her explanation "could be" true, I am not going to say if she is telling the truth or not because I can't know that. But she said the money collected was spent on development and the project basically failed to get traction which made it economically not feasible and that is why it is a failed project and not a scam project.

Obviously, nobody bought that because these are NFT's and you could get them made for like under 15k total. The rest utility things could have been failed attempts, but even the NFT's? That was a little weird and looks more like a scam.
I heard that she quit the project because of people harassments.. The truth is somewhere, but i guess we don't know it  Grin
I have seen a guy taking selfies and making it to a collection of NFTs - seems quite weird to me to be honest, if the photos had any content or meaning i would have understand it. Ended up quite popular, you might have heard it.
One of the best/weird nfts i have seen is from the arrest of a politician  Grin

Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure
by

in time, a lot of p2e platforms will surpass what axie has achieved. the team behind it should continuously innovate to stay relevant with their chosen industry. if they fail to post updates and new features, some of these players will indeed go to newer p2e games. because these gamers won't stick to one game only, and if they see free access, definitely they will try that game. since there are a lot of gamers, every p2e game has their chance to get their audience, but it is their innovation how they will survive in the competition. this is why maybe axie is slowing down. because these gamers are finding a different option, cheaper than buying their AXS to get started.

In time, 99% of current p2e games wont even be released. As they are another scam-begging scheme. "We have drawn a game art, it will be a NFT role play game, give us money for development". Gaming industry is full of this shit. While crypto p2e games try to raise money, individualist create rogue-like or pixel games in 3-6 months and earn from sales in steam. Crypto games will never achieve that.

At some point they will achieve it. Still there is high risk, cuz of the scams you mentioned. Mixing game experience and p2e model depends not only on developers, but on the community too.

Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure

All of the games are built on the same foundation, with the exception of skin colour and weapon design. High game entry fees and a high learning curve for new users are discouraging new users from joining the system. Because of the unique teams they have, only early adopters are making a lot of money. The number of unique users registering each day is decreasing, indicating that the hype is fading.
I cannot agree at all with this statement, cause a lot of multi companies started to track and invest in blockchain gaming, i'm myself very pleased with situation cause unreal engines and engn token working very well if you ask me, i'm not feeling like i choose bad investment.
Just because the current games do not look good and do not create any hype for the game itself does not mean that we will not have any type of future game with great NFT's.

Simply put, imagine a world where skins in games like fortnight or counter strike were to be NFT's and not the way it is, imagine if it had limited NFT skins where the player who owns it could sell it and the company will make 10% from each sale? That would bring in so much money for the company as well.

Instead of tens of thousands of same skin sold by the company, it will be 10k skin sold by the company and then keep on making money forever from people selling to each other, even if people stop buying it for 9.99, they could still sell it for 1-2 dollars and keep you making money in that case.

Couldn't agree more. We are yet to see if play to earn can be integrated into games that focus on true gaming experience.

Exactly! But they will for sure! Since it's still early the concept is still very basic talking for gameplay, but it will scale into way more complex and high quality projects. I'm paying close attention to some projects and the effort, funds and time they're investing is starting to bring some insane sneak peeks. Of course, even if they bring true gaming experience remains the other aspect.. the game economy..  Roll Eyes

Everything is looking into the Metaverse and there is huge room for improvement there. It's still on early stage , but it is and will be big thing. All projects are some kind of pioneers there, cuz there is no defined "meta".

It's still early to be said, the NFTs are young asset still.
If you're planning on investing or wondering if you should hold an NFT - again, you should evaluate the project , the team behind and if those NFTs brings you any benefits itself or they are just visuals.
Since a NFT that brings added value, not only artwork, is way more valuable. Considering the added value of it and if the project is legit (and the team behind it) will give you brighter point of view of it's actual price and potential of it.
My opinion about the game NFTs is that after a while they all crash in price. You can still make some nice flips on them tho  Roll Eyes

Re: TIPS how to manage from losing when investing new projects.

Few tips from me too  Roll Eyes

1. Check project's Whitepaper - do your research!
2. Check the Team/Roadmap/Tokenomics - check how things are described and if there is enough information, detailed roadmaps give the feeling of a brighter overview of the project's future.
3. A good time investment on the website/docs by the developer's side is always a good point to consider. Meaning that they're investing time and efforts in it.
4. Check their competitors and what advantages they have over them
5. Try to consider what future the project will have and their room for improvement

It really depends on the team.. How they execute the project and what is their initial goal. Most game projects use similar tokenomics, but the results can be different based on the team's decisions and adequate acting and support.
The idea of play to earn content is roaming the internet for a long time. It's live officially with blockchain gaming, but it's still early model which has a huge room for improvement.
I'm noticing improvement in the quality of the games that are been released. Before it was click to earn most of the time. Now projects are focusing not only on the earning aspect, but on gaming too.
I agree that many games have high entry fee, but not all. It's like you're buying monthly subscription for WoW, but in this case you have a chance to return your investment, even profit.
And definitely there are some very good looking games that are either live or about to be released, mixing both earning and OG gaming.  Roll Eyes
