Are your developers really working to enable verification tab for the new users? I've been waiting for really long time but verification for me is still disabled.

I know you don't provide ETA. But if you won't enable verification for the new users, can you please state this clearly?

If you won't enable verification, please tell us so. Maybe you don't want more customers, I don't know. This shouldn't be that hard.

I had the same problem for about a month ago.
Sent email to Kraken support and their suggested solution was to open new account.
I opened 3 more accounts but the problem still persisted.
But last friday I tried my luck and opened a new account again and voilà!
I could verify my account.
I used the same gadget and the same browser as the old accounts to open the new one.

I am happy to report that somehow after logging in once again to check up on the 'Get Verified' feature, when I clicked to go to the verification page, it actually loaded! I went through the ID Verification process without any problem and I am VERIFIED!
THANK YOU Kraken! 'Fixed', I guess, however for some reason I still feel like the backlog perhaps was the cause of the issue and not technically a 'bug', at any rate the 'feature' is no longer 'disabled' for my account at least, hopefully it is working or will be working for others as well. Site looks good! Very good performance. My only complaint now is that there needs to be ACH bank transfer capability eventually, currently only a wire transfer is allowed to send or receive USD funds which is not ideal because banks typically charge a big fee for wire transfers. Glad to now have Kraken as my crypto exchange, thanks again!

OK, now that everything seems to work again, can you PLEASE unlock my account that has been locked for 15 days now? My ticket has passed all stages and should be lying now on the desk of the Account Access Specialist to review my information in order to grant access to my account. That's what they told me in the last email... So how big is that pile of tickets?

Congrats on the upgrade to the trading engine!

NOW, let's talk about IDENTITY VERIFICATION for NEW users.
Yes, I realize the Kraken status update states that ID verification for new users is the lowest priority
right now but could the system at the very least be set to RE-enable the 'Get Verified' FEATURE?!
Then us new users could at least submit our ID paperwork into the system and wait in what will likely be a VERY long
line for a long time; we all realize that there likely have been record signups in the last few months.
But please do not assume we will be satisfied with instructions to 'try' creating a new user with a new email address,
that will NOT work, many posters here have already tried that dozens of times to no avail. It is OBVIOUS that with so
many technical issues lately core to the platform, ID verification of new users has been put on the back burner and that
indeed makes sense, but please just ADMIT that the 'Get Verified' FEATURE has been temporarily TURNED OFF, deliberately,
which is TOTALLY fine and understandable!
It's NOT a 'bug', the feature was turned off and/or disabled, the page itself states, this 'feature' is 'currently unavailable', the site
did not encounter an error, it's just that the feature is OFF.
Please turn it back ON so that new users like me can at least submit the ID paperwork and get the process started.
At this point it's been an entire month since I signed up with my email address and I cannot even set my real name to my account or do anything. Meanwhile the crypto universe turns and major things are happening, if this goes on for much longer I will just realize that I cannot use this exchange and move on. Hi AIConsciousness. Thanks for the congratulations! We're activerly working out the kinks as we speak.

The Get Verified feature is available for some clients and not available for others. This is a bug and it's also being looked into. We have not stopped new sign ups and our ever-expanding verification team is working hard to get through the backlog of verifications. Unfortunately, we don't have a solution for new users at this point, other than to open a new account and try that. Our developers are aware of the situation and they're working hard to fix this ASAP.

Wait, what? Do you tell us to spam your website by creating new accounts continuously until we get an account whose get verified tab is available? I just can't believe this is your solution.

I was plannin to open a Kraken account for some time, I decided finally and I did it today. And then I see "verification is currently unavailable" warning on the screen. I can go to Bitfinex and create a new account but I like Kraken, please don't lose your new customers by not fixing this verification problem for newcomers.

I still can't understand one thing, if I see this "verification is currently unavailable" warning on my account, then do I have to open a new account? Isn't there another way? Won't you fix this problem? Please be more specific. We can't keep creating accounts until we get one without that warning, this is really not logical and fair.

Yep, it's completely asinine to suggest for new users to just keep trying other email addresses and keep signing up under new account usernames to see if maybe one of the new accounts will allow you to submit ID verification paperwork. Actually many posters here have already tried dozens of new accounts and they get the same response, 'feature disabled'; which likely means it was deliberately 'disabled'. It sounds like they really are adamant that this is a 'bug' but I am a retired software eng in the industry for two decades on enterprise level and anytime a label verbiage stated 'disabled' etc it was indeed disabled, otherwise there would be some sort of error code or something. I still believe for some reason they just do not want to admit that they deliberately turned off the 'Get Verified' 'feature' for the time being, which actually in light of all the core trading engine issues would have been totally understandable, but then just tell us that, why tell us we should just keep trying new account creations when we all know that is not going to change the customer experience. Do they just want a ton of new signups to inflate stats? I don't get it.
Anyway, it's quite simple, the first exchange that verifies my ID (KYC) will get my business, all the others, oh well, will likely just sit as empty accounts while I use whichever account was first in getting my account on board for trading. It's a shame though because I really wanted to try Kraken, especially after a trading engine upgrade, it appears that it could be a great exchange and I still will be patiently waiting to get verified, I refuse to just keep trying new accounts, besides I only have one primary email address, I don't own dozens of email address, but after a few weeks of waiting I will likely just use whichever exchange wins my business because time is of the essence in the crypto world which is turning quickly right now; bad time to plan for a major core trading engine upgrade.
There are many very easy methodologies to employ in IT in order to not have such botched launches, backups, segregated server farms still running the old code which can easily be put back in rotation if the launch of the servers with the new code fails, etc etc etc. Does not bode well as a first impression, HOWEVER, I am hearing great things about the new engine so actually really excited to get on Kraken platform but I'll continue to wait and hope I can get my account verified, but my patience has limits, there exists competition out there, so we'll see what happens.... tick tick tick .....

Just an FYI, it has been suggested that the issue of the missing 2FA emails to yahoo address has to do with 'Google Authenticator' or yahoo spam folder, etc. I can confirm that these are NOT the issue. I never enabled two factor authentication on my FH account.
My ISP changed my dynamic IP and when I went to login to FH instead of allowing me to login it displayed the interstitial about needing to validate my email credentials via my email associated with the FH account and to expect a '2FA' email but that email never arrives, nor when I click the new button to 'resend' the 2FA validation email. This has nothing to do with two factor authentication, appears to simply be a normal email validation confirmation process but the validation email never is transmitted to yahoo, no email in spam folder, nothing, yet I have received once since this began another email type from FH (like a reminder email about something but deleted it, sorry).
Perhaps a yahoo domain whitelisting problem?

Thanks, @mexicantarget, for the additional info that at least pinpoints the issue but I still do not know how to remedy this problem.
I never marked FH emails as spam, actually I remember before the Holidays seeing one of the FH emails automatically put into the spam folder by yahoo and I specifically went in and moved it to my inbox labeling it as 'not spam' but I guess the yahoo email logic still considers it spam, though it should still come into my spam folder. Can you please reset your SMTP for that email address so as to continue to deliver to my email address so I can at least try one more time with the yahoo email client to mark it as 'NOT spam' ?
Otherwise I am locked out of my FH account and I have no idea how to proceed.
I just need to get into the FH account one time and I could then change the email to another mail provider, yahoo stinks!

Woohoo! It WORKS! Thanks a lot @mexicantarget, that solved it, I'm into my FH account and having fun again.
I marked the email as 'NOT spam' in yahoo so maybe this time the stupid yahoo spam filter will listen to my wishes, sheesh, yahoo is becoming big brother, thinks it knows what's best for my email, one must watch these big tech giants and their control grid.
I get a kick out of the talking heads on financial tv acting as if the gov even has a choice to step in and 'regulate' bitcoin or impose major tax rules on trading when everyone knows there is no technical way to do it, it's an impossibility, that's the whole point and genius of the technology. They will finally get it someday as Clinton's have found out with all the email scandals and wikiLEAKs and everything else. The answer to the dystopian future is cryptography and blockchain tech.

I tried again a few times, waited at least an hour after clicking button to 'resend' the 2FA validation email
but still no emails received into my yahoo email address. There are no emails at all, nothing in spam, nothing.
Cannot log into FH at this point. I know email can come in from FH because the other day I saw some other email
from FH but cannot remember what it was, maybe some sort of reminder email about securing my account settings or something else but
it was an official FH email, not a phishing email (proper originating domain etc).
I guess it's just an issue with the 2FA email transmission and only that specific type of outgoing email.
Just FYI, I see there are others here with the same problem, so still an issue, thx.

Just an FYI,

2FA emails still NOT showing up in email (not in the SPAM filter, not anywhere to be found, they are not arriving into my yahoo email).
I also just received a different email (marketing email) from FH into the same yahoo email address and it did not go to spam and so I know for certain that this is indeed the email I have signed up at FH and certain emails are indeed coming through but the 2fa emails are NOT coming through at all.

I tried multiple times clicking the resend 2fa email button and still nothing.
This must be a transmission issue with 'MailGun' or whatever; the 2fa email is simply not getting sent out.
Could an email with a 2fa code for validation/verification be sent out manually? Probably just need to have it validated one time as my ISP switches IP's on me only rarely. I'll try again in a few days if I don't hear anything.

Hi Kraken-Septimus,

I just recently joined Kraken and successfully activated my account via email activation
however, when I click on the tab labeled, 'Get Verified' the page simply states,
'Feature Disabled'. I reside in Texas. I should be able to initiate the Tier 1 verification process but
I cannot because it appears the 'Get Verified' feature has been turned off (disabled) by the website.

This is not a bug, this appears to be a deliberate disabling of a feature on the site by site administrators.
Why?
Is Kraken still overloaded with verification requests? If so, that is fine, I just think we should all know the truth
as there are many many others of whom cannot get verified because of the same limitation; 'Feature Disabled'.
Once the site update is done will this 'feature' be turned back on so users can get verified?
How long can we expect this 'feature' to be 'disabled'?
How much longer should we expect to wait to see the site get upgraded and re-launched?
Any actual specific clarification in regards to these points would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

P.S. - Please do not merely offer some automated response template to this inquiry; aka something about signing up again
with a brand new email address, I refuse to partake in such nonsense when we all know full well the website runs on deterministic
logic and going through the hassle of signing up with another email address will surely yield the same result. If Kraken has simply
turned off the verification process right now because they are overloaded, then fine, totally understandable, just admit it!
We want real information and real updates on the site re-launch as well as the 'Get Verified' feature turned back on as soon as possible.

Nope, I am still experiencing the 2FA issue with my yahoo email address login credentials (FH username : Consciousness).
I waited about 15 minutes and no 2fa email then I clicked the 'resend 2fa email' button and waited another 20 minutes but no emails.
I checked and rechecked the yahoo email address spam filter but I have received no email transmissions whatsoever.
Is there maybe a one-time email which can be sent manually from FH to my email that is essentially a re-validation of original unchanged email address which could validate the 2fa condition? If MailGun is just slow then oh well, perhaps next week when everyone gets back from the holidays it will speed up when their queue is unwound.
Thanks for looking into it. I'll try again next week.

What in the world?!! LOL these posters on here are all a complete joke, sheesh! Wow, many of you need to learn
the virtue of patience. First of all, it is a major holiday, you should be joyous and not even on the internet in the first place.
If it's so important than just post your issue and go back to eating some pie and egg nog.
And some play money in a fun crypto gaming site should not even concern anyone in the least either, it's not like this is
a large bank or financial institution, hopefully your life savings is not at risk I mean, come on people, what a joke, calm down,
settle down, it's not the end of the world. I mean sure, I myself have been going through some withdrawals not being able to get the
fix of playing the daily lottery as I have become accustomed to but what a laughable state of affairs to see so many snowflake complainers
on here bashing away at someone rushing back from their own holiday early just to attend to a few of your dollars and cents you have in play at a gaming website, I mean seriously people, back off, this is getting ridiculous and just plain rude.
Maybe go out on the street corner and gather some gamblers to play the three cups game or some dominoes if you're that desperate.
And if you really absolutely desperately need ASAP your tiny fractions of a cent in crypto that bad then you have bigger problems and issues which cannot be addressed by a code update. Get it together people, get a grip. Laughable man.

By the way, I checked and re-checked the SPAM folder in my yahoo email and it has always been empty this whole time so that is not the issue. Like you stated, it must be an issue with the SMTP 3rd party service or whatever.
It's totally understandable things get slow and backed up during a major holiday.
Don't mind all these complainers of whom don't have an iota of patience for business owners on a major holiday, it's ridiculous.
I run multiple websites myself as well and I know how it is to have 3rd party services go down and/or slow down because of their staff vacations etc. These users just have no sense either for the nature of the blockchain, it's all rather comical and does not reflect the excellent job you are everyone at FH has done to make it a great fun site. Keep up the great work.
When the 2fa email transmissions start up again, I'll login then, no pressure, thanks again.

Oh, just one more quick thing, thought I would mention, it seems Chrome now experiences a mismatch of SSL cert protocols that it accepts and TLS1.3 has abandoned RC4 so only firefox will load the FH website for me, it doesn't work in Chrome. Perhaps just redo the SSL cert to be compliant with new'ish TLS standards, would be a plus.

it appears the 2fa verification email (for changed IP) is not working;

my yahoo email address is not receiving the 2fa code validation email but I know my email address is currently
working, I'm getting other emails in. Please if you could look into this issue if you get time.
