Good day, my good Naija people.
With the current economic challenges, it's very essential for the younger ones to provide themselves knowledge to avoid difficulties that the elderly ones have discovered or passed through.
Firstly, we need to advise them to train themselves by learning and also reading some financial economic principles, as well as personal finance and investment aspects. They can also provide valuable insights by engaging them in online crypto classes and practical experience on crypto.
Additionally, we need to let them understand the benefits of budgeting and how income and expenses are being managed or handled, they should know how to spend and what areas to spend on.
Moreover, encourage them to invest early even with the little amount so that they can have rapid benefits over time, having connections with crypto expertise and mentors in the financial profession can tender guidance for them. They should avoid repeating past lapses and view the experienced mentor's mistakes as learning opportunities.

Share your thoughts.

Re: What should be your primary goal with your bitcoin investment?
by

OP, your talk really makes sense. One thing people fail to understand, or newbies rather, is that anything you want to do in life, your first priority should be how to achieve your goals, and all these things have to work with plans. There was a saying that said, "If you are informed, you will be deformed." In essence, having goals and roles to play makes you a strong person.

However, Bitcoin is one of the most reliable investments that later in life you will be a crypto investor's testimony to people that always have fears in their minds whenever they want to invest. One thing is that the price will rise up today and tomorrow come down due to its volatile nature; the best thing is to know the risks behind the investment.

Re: Bitcoin will still make our dreams possible

One other thing that is causing this is they want to earn big whereby they wouldn't know which is really, they can keep holding for years but when scammers shoot in they wouldn't know that is a scam attempt that is why it's good to always join a like-minded people around you to share common knowledge and ideas together to know when such attempts is approaching or are wanting to come near you.
Investment involves being wise and becoming smart in everything they are doing to avoid being scammed.

Factual...some people just think maybe once you wake up you start making it in life, not knowing that you have to work for it in a smarter way. It's better we seek good knowledge from different sets of experienced members to achieve a common goal. Although some people's lives are full of risks, some risks may end up in scamming. Always have knowledge of what you want to do and learn from good examples. Invest in what you know that in the future you will rejoice, not regret.

There are many investments, such as physical investments; examples are oil, agricultural products and gold, you can also invest in real estate, depending, but in my own belief cryptocurrency is the best investment ever; being a crypto investor makes you a boss. So knowledge is very necessary, indeed Bitcoin will continue to make our dreams possible.

Re: By products of crude; the key to Nigeria's flourishing economy.
by
B-BossMan
on 06/09/2025, 17:30:51 UTC
Op, all these by-products such as kerosene, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas, lubricant oil, asphalt and petrol are useful to our dear country. God has blessed us with 3 refineries, and none of them are working. All these promises were made during the election that the 3 refineries will begin their productions immediately after coming to power, but I notice that even the past administration has done nothing and the same promises were made as political propaganda. I don't really know why Nigeria cannot work on those refineries with all the taxes and revenues being paid.

The painful part is that Nigeria, or the government, really kept agriculture aside and focused on only crude oil. Could you believe that the money agriculture is generating can also go a long way? If the government can think back to how the agricultural era has helped the citizens and the government at large, then (agriculture & crude oil), believe you me, our country will be better if the government invests in crude oil and agriculture.

Re: Bitcoin; the answer to over dependence of the scarce dollar in Nigeria
by
B-BossMan
on 06/09/2025, 11:07:10 UTC
In my own point of view, Nigerians have to depend on the dollar for now, because goods and services are being sold on foreign exchanges, especially oil and other things. To stop all this dependence, our government has to work on bigger infrastructures and tackle economy challenges.

If we can really be able to transact with our able Naira across the countries, Naira dependency will reduce and the Naira will be appreciated more. We bought goods in dollars and sold in naira. It's the same thing with the government when buying outside the country. Moreover, when the government subsidised the fuel, things started changing. Goods in our various markets pumped up, and people started suffering because fuel prices increased, and everyone was saying the dollar has increased and the crude oil has been bought in dollars. Why can't we use our own Naira? ...must we use dollars in every transaction outside the country?

Well, my belief is that with time things will change for the better in the future in this country, Nigeria.

by

on 06/09/2025, 08:00:06 UTC
This reminds me of a post I saw on someone's status yesterday, that tax will be on fuel purchases above 10k, then I was like this present administration will finish the less prevelage, due to poor economic in our country and cost of foods some people couldn't even afford to buy fuel as usual, but I trust my Naija people sha, no matter how the hardship they will adapt to it in few days, however as the federal government is planning to implement new law taxes, which I believe would also triggers price of many goods and services, as such we need to think out of box, what are your plans for future or against 2026 before the implementation kicks off, think of a reasonable or reliable source of income, go into more businesses and investments, Bitcoin investment would help you alot, think of a brighter future and laugh the government as a successful investor.

by

on 05/09/2025, 23:06:27 UTC
Op, one thing we need to understand is that many newbies today don't really need what you want to teach them at first, they really need practical physical belive, in essence, tell them what you have achieved so far since the binging of your journey, how Bitcoin or cryptocurrency has changed your life.
People hardly trust or believe you, especially my good Naija people, a Nigerian have to authenticate what you are about teaching then before teaching them  or impacting knowledge on them, when it comes to financial aspect.

Re: Why so much excuse instead of investing.
by
B-BossMan
on 05/09/2025, 22:25:57 UTC
Some will complain that Bitcoin is too expensive and they can't afford it, why some will keep on waiting for the dip before investing not knowing that no time is too late so-far-as Bitcoin investment is concern. Too much excuse and procrastination is what has kept so many people poor because they failed to take advantage of opportunities when available . However low income earning is not an  excuse when we have dca method ,am not financially capable at the moment is even not an excuse too because with a little discretionary funds from you little earning can give you a life changing opportunity.

Op, you know it would be very difficult for those who aren't fully understanding or believing in what they want to invest in. Investments are all about knowledge and understanding. Some people have little knowledge about it but are still scared of investing in cryptocurrency; that's why it's always advisable to invest what you can afford to lose. However, the excuses will not come from experienced members here. The best thing to do as a newbie is to learn what investment is all about, know it and know the risks behind investment. The more you make excuses, the more you see people closer to you winning.

In addition, as a newbie it's not necessarily you must start with huge amounts of money even little DCA method can bring a surprise In to your investment.

I knew many members here will have their own points of view and a lot of reasons why they're here today, but deep down when you look at it, in some aspects, some members are here to gain knowledge while some are here to learn and earn, although some experienced members here are only here to help or impart the little knowledge they have acquired to newbies. Well, I also said my main aim of being here is to learn about anything related to bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large and at the same time earn, however, once none of us are not earning again, the forum will lose some members here, though.

Re: The beginning of new journey in this forum
by

on 23/08/2025, 05:00:13 UTC
I recently came here. The first post I saw after coming here was Bitcoin Discussion. There, I saw that everyone was discussing bitcoin freely. After scrolling for a while, I saw a short meta description below each discussion, which helped me understand the discussion. I am a new member and did not understand everything about this forum well. My question here, is this forum open for everyone? I can see that everyone can discuss about their crypto and bitcoin. Can I also discuss or post about bitcoin and crypto like others? If anyone could give me some feedback on how I can participate as a new member and I would greatly benefit. Thank you.

You are welcome. Yes, it's open for everyone and also open for knowledgeable ones and for those that are willing to gain some knowledge. Those discussions you saw aren't just discussions, but the boards are specified for each discussion, such as Bitcoin Discussions, Technical Aspects, Economy Board, Beginners and Help Board and others. Do well and abide by all the rules and regulations of each board you come across and the forum at large. The forum is so large and full of knowledgeable members. Welcome you once again.

Re: Will banks One day accept Bitcoin deposit?
by
B-BossMan
on 21/08/2025, 05:02:41 UTC
Yes, definitely, it might happen, but the government has to accept or adopt it first. When you take a look at some other countries, their government sees Bitcoin as a way of scamming their citizens, which it is not; it's just because the government has no interference or has no concern about your transactions. Your transactions are moving smoothly without any government authority, so in the nearest future they will come to realise the fact that the adoption will surprise them; however, I guess without government authority I don't think banks can make use of it as a medium of exchange.

Our solution
I will like to engage us in two exercises on this thread:
1. Share your personal experiences around a similar incident or case of crypto doubling scam you encountered
2. Once you see any advert of a crypto related scams like this, take a screenshot of it and drop it here for our more experienced members here to kind of debate or authenticate, before we end up falling for it.

At times we Nigerians once something haven't happened to someone you are very close to or you personally you wouldn't believe that all these internet sit or some unnecessarily links are scam, I once had an experienced since for so long, when I was asked by a stronger to invest into one platform, which the scammer provided me will some link, I went ahead to register through the links he sent and after seeing some datas attached with thier percentages, I was very eager to invest and have my capital back within 2 to 3 weeks, although I was scared but it was the profits being attached made me to invest 200k and be earning 17k everyday, which I calculated to make profits and have my capital back, surprisely within 3 days these people went with all my money and I couldn't be able to longin into my account anymore.Since then in my life, I don't give a smaller trust to something I know or don't have any ideas about.

Lesson learnt, we need to be very careful of any unnecessary messages from a stranger or links you don't have ideas about. Ever since I joined this forum, I have never been scammed on crypto-related issues.

Op, thanks for bringing this up. The experienced members here in this forum have taught me a lot about scammers. Well, as the Op said, in case you see any scammer, any links or some unnecessary photos of proof by a scammer just to scam you, please do well and drop in here for clarification and authentication by the experienced members here.

Re: Your thoughts, ideas, advice and comment on serial entrepreneurship is it safe?
by
B-BossMan
on 17/08/2025, 20:35:09 UTC
You know we are individual differences. In terms of financial aspects, a lot of people lack financial discipline, and when we talk about any business or entrepreneurship that pays off our bills, it has to require patience. You can't just start a small skills business and expect to make a huge amount of money or profit, rather. Even the so-called businessmen today are not just waking up one day and starting to make profits; it takes some longer time before you become successful in business.

However, there are some skills that are seasonal; the same thing is applicable to some businesses also, so it is advisable that when you want to go for any business, take your time and do research on how it goes. Know the season your business can move faster, and also the location's matters.

Re: Another example on why we should be quiet and not flaunt our crypto in public
by
B-BossMan
on 16/08/2025, 05:35:22 UTC
Lucky enough they were not hurt, seriously, we just need to know what and whom to share some information with. People are hungrily waiting, hating you for what you have accumulated, so these types of people always have you in mind because they know what you are worth.

So privacy should always be our main priority in any aspect; sharing your details online would bring more scammers' or attackers' attention to you and your family. No matter how you deal with many cryptocurrencies, never disclose your personal information or your assets to people for your own safety; pretend that you don't even know what crypto is all about.

Re: Why as Nigerians we must keep our information safe rather rely on the government
by
B-BossMan
on 16/08/2025, 04:54:57 UTC
A spade will always remain a spade. We the citizens are also smarter and wiser day by day because even their so-called banks are useless to some citizens. When there's cryptocurrency, to hell with them. What has not been hacked in the government sector today? They keep failing and fooling us.

So the best thing is to keep everything concerning your data secure and be security conscious. Could you imagine the day I opened my bank account, and a number called to confirm if it was me and asked for some information about me? How would a stranger get to know that new customers have opened accounts if not for the staff sharing people's information with scammers? Moreover, we just need to be on alert all the time.

Re: The role of Bitcoin in protecting Nigerian Naira inflation and savings.
by
B-BossMan
on 16/08/2025, 04:20:35 UTC
To me it's not surprising, since our Naira loses value. What is the government expecting from the citizens? Already our economy is very poor in nature, and our government tends to move on no matter how. So the government needs to put more emphasis on building a stronger economy so the citizens will no longer be living in a poor economic condition. As such, the aim of the government is to decentralise Bitcoin in nature, which I don't think would be possible.

As the citizens tend to secure their own wealth by themselves, you can see that many people that accept the centralised nature of Bitcoin are safe from any interaction and distraction from the government; your wealth is controlled by you, not any authority boards.

In addition, Bitcoin will definitely gain more growth every time and also gain recognition.

I was having more than 1 error

'I had an idea to describe these issues in a post - in order to make a system to no longer deal with them

1 I could upload print screen (but also - shows doesn't allow upload images

of writing - only allowed make new post every 360 seconds- but I found for me it lasts longer than that time

60 120 180 240 300 360 5 minutes

1 - method is setting a timer every 5 minutes to reminder myself
You know spamming is not allowed here in the forum, so it's better as a newbie you don't just focus on posting or creating threads; rather, all you need to do now is read across the forum to get some points and different patterns for how some users' threads are being created. If you also do some research, it would help you along.

In addition, just try and push up your account to some additional ranks beyond newbie before you are able to post an image.
