74% of Bitcoin is now in the hands of long-term holders, which is the highest in the last 15 years. No one is selling. This is actually very pleasing to hear and encouraging for those of us who have been involved in long-term investments for a long time and we have been discussing this topic here for a long time. We will definitely see a good portfolio in our wallets in the future.

Source

This shows that the long-term holders have built up their confidence in keeping it for long; it will also serve as a lesson to any short-term Bitcoin holders, although these long-term holders have always believed that the growth of Bitcoin in the future would be massive and be appreciated and also look up to the market cycle of its constant supply of 21m BTC. Moreover, as long as these holders keep holding BTC, it will also trigger the market price or increase the price, and it's going to be the happiest moment for the holders and the crypto enthusiasm

Would investment serve as a business
by
B-BossMan
on 20/07/2025, 06:50:51 UTC
Good day, my forum members and expertise here.

As an experienced investor or businessperson, your knowledge would be helpful in this aspect.

When we talk about business, we refer to an enterprise that has to do with the buying and selling of goods with the aim of meeting a customer's needs and then selling to your own targeted profits.
Business also requires energy and daily activities just to interact with your customers. While investment serves as an asset or aim of future profit or returns but due to market fluctuations and volatility, investment returns go hand in hand with high risks.

My questions are:
→How can you relate investment and business?
→Can an investor also be called a businessman?

Your insights would be appreciated.

Re: Reason I prefer saving my money in exchange to Bank
by

on 19/07/2025, 00:15:07 UTC
Actually, some of those old cargo banks are so annoying at times, but when it comes to fast and reliable transactions, I will go for Fintech wallets, because you hardly see those Fintech banks having issues. Since I opened OPay, PalmPay, Kuda, and Moniepoint, I stopped using all these old banks. Moreover, as the OP said, in terms of saving money, your exchanges are so good, with no delay of network or some unnecessary charges like some banks. Although some people are comfortably saving their money in those old banks such as Access, GTB, Keystone, UBA, First Bank, and Zenith Bank because of the lack of trust they have for Fintech banks... it's a choice, though.

To me it's very essential to consider the Random Access Memory (Ram)  first before anything, because once the devices am using it not performing well I felt so bored, so I also consider a huge ROM to store my datas. Although I prefer using an android Samsung than others
And the battery MAH is also important.

Re: Why doesn't one multi-billionaire buy a huge share of all bitcoins?
by
B-BossMan
on 13/07/2025, 07:23:51 UTC
There are billionaires worth over $100 billion, and even more worth between $10 billion and $100 billion. So why haven't any of them bought most of the bitcoins? They could have done so, for example, in 2020, when the price of bitcoin was $5,000-$8,000. Bitcoin's market cap is now less than $2 trillion, and it used to be even less. Some multi-billionaire could have bought at least 10% of all bitcoins, but why hasn't anyone done so?

If I may ask, do they really need it?
Some of us are buying Bitcoin for benefits or interest rather than as multi-billionaires. I don't think they would really have time for mining or investing in cryptocurrency, although some will not even give a damn about the cryptocurrencies, and if a multi-billionaire decides to buy all the Bitcoin, the market wouldn't be funny, which I don't think it will even be possible to do due to the risks of investments. Moreover, a multi-billionaire will not only depend on one asset.

Politics is a dirty game.
by
B-BossMan
on 05/07/2025, 06:05:14 UTC
The dirty game of Nigeria politicians is alarming.

I don't know if this topic has been discussed here before, but let's view it from a different perspective.

The coalition of different parties formed by Atiku and Peter Obi seems like a correction of their mistakes to me, because had this been done before the last election, I doubt if APC would have won the last election, because the last 2023 election's analysis for these three parties isn't far away from each other: APC was at 37%, PDP 29%, and LP 25%. Imagine if PDP and LP had merged then?

So the coalition of these parties will definitely put APC into a panic zone, but Tinubu is a very smart politician, because he will know where to come out for them; moreover, he owns the power now.

My questions now are:

*What has President Bola Tinubu done so far for the masses that will guarantee him to be reelected in the 2027 election?

*Would the coalition of these parties help the masses in terms of insecurity: armed robbery, banditry, and kidnappers?

Because we are not sure if the new ADC party will really help Nigeria to move forward, since the power is being recycled within themselves and is not tangible, so to say.

We pray for a better Nigeria.

Great job on this write-up, Although I see this as a guidelines concern for newbies and myself, this thread will also give more attention to the members who are trying to create a new thread in LB. However, many members of this community were jubilating after three consecutive merit sources were added to our LB. Let there be sympathy for newbies; at times, some just need courage, advice, and motivation regarding quality posts, not criticism (I’m sorry if I’m not supposed to use the word "criticism"). That gives them more comfort in their zone. If there's happiness at home, you will be a free thinker. Moreover, as a faithful MS, whenever you find a post that you feel is worthy of merit, I don't think it's a big issue. Besides, once you see a thread that's related to farming, scammers, and other related issues, please do what is necessary. If you read a post and feel it deserves to be addressed, please do so. We newbies just need corrections to boost our Morales in this forum.

The possibility of greater adoption brings wide acceptance
by
B-BossMan
on 15/06/2025, 11:54:51 UTC

The possibility of greater adoption brings wide acceptance.

At times, when I think of the historical cost of Bitcoin, aside from future speculation, Bitcoin is meant to move on and make you wiser and smarter. We should always remember that the more we make use of Bitcoin, the higher it drives the adoption. If every one of us tends to hold Bitcoin, how would a trader care to accept it? So the unstoppable nature of Bitcoin lies in holding it; the pure usage of it brings demands.
I realised all this logic after I went for some research and studies; however, I believe that a small percentage of individuals owned a Bitcoin, though. My point is that since the rich have taken it over and greed has turned it into a hedge investment, its original purpose has been destroyed. It will never be a currency because the rich aren't going to allow it to be.  They'll keep buying it up until there's none left moving.  Then what happens to the network when it grinds to a halt because no one is willing to sell?

How can miners make money if there's nothing to mine?

I realise this won't happen in a month or even a year.  But the writing is on the wall.  This is where it's headed.  They will use a stablecoin or CBDC for currency because they are never going to pay down control over the money system.

Is it that as more people get into Bitcoin, it will force the price upward?

Since Bitcoin has a cap, a limit, it's scarce. I believe in 10 or more years people will be trading on the street with Bitcoin, not fiat currency, anymore. The time to buy Bitcoin was yesterday, last week, last month, or last year. And for tomorrow, the real time to buy bitcoin will be today.

Re: Your best advice regarding Cryptocurrencies
by
B-BossMan
on 04/06/2025, 12:29:53 UTC
It's very unfortunate for newbies to think of investing in cryptocurrencies without knowing the risks and obstacles behind it, it's also very advisable for a newbies to focus on studying and a self researches about cryptocurrencies, cryptocurrency is not a quick earn money because the market can fluctuate at any moment, so when you hear someone said, he bought his Bitcoin at rate of $20k and it's now pump to $100k or more than! That shouldn't make you happy to put all your hard earned money into cryptocurrencies, my advices are:, know your worth before investing in cryptocurrencies, invest what you can afford to lose, never follow any advices from a strangers, get a reliable source of information and do well to go for your own research..... Dont be deceive by anyone, cryptocurrency is some you don't rush or jump into any investment calm yourself and focus on basic aspects of cryptocurrencies.
In addition, to see an HOLDs today, it's not a day job; patience, resilience and intentions are the scene. Learn from experienced superiors.
