Honestly, neither of the negative feedbacks really means much since you aren't on DefaultTrust and you have no particular reference to what happened. The only reference is you defending a known scammer named 'Bono'?
Instead of escalating the situation and trying to get people to leave him undeserved red, you could easily resolve the situation with him. Mutually deleting the negative trust would have squashed it all but you wanna push it cause of ego?

1) I once traded with someone named 'Bono' and he didn't scam me. So I left positive feedback. When he was being accused of scamming, though, I asked for concrete proof because I had dealt with him personally and he wasn't a total asshat at the time. Once it became apparent he was scamming others, I left negative feedback.
2) I am not pushing anything due to ego. He abused the trust system by posting lies about me. Mutually deleting actual negative reviews off of his profile would just be rewarding bad behavior.
You've hit on a key weakness of the trust system. God help users if someone on the default trust list decides to start extorting users. Maybe those accounts are what hackers will start targeting next.
I'm increasingly convinced that the trust system does nothing that the reputation threads don't, your story is a great example of why.

The trust system only works if and when it has proof of you scamming stealing etc. Other than that, Noobs that rely and "trust" on the trust system just for the fact some idiot like Luke-Jr put on my trust system but absolutely no scamming or stealing is involved makes me laugh......
Don't worry about it, op. smart ppl will read dumb trusts/untrusted feedback and judge themselves. More than likely if they are smart, their judgement will go in the right direction.

Long story short, some guy, in February, got butthurt about a comment I made on this forum, and posted several negative 'trust' thingies on my profile.
In response, I posted one on his profile plainly stating that he is dishonest. No biggie.
Well, this guy recently messaged me asking me if we could mutually delete those negative reviews from each others' profiles. I said absolutely not, because he publicly posted lies about me that stayed online for about 6 months, while conversely, anything and everything I had posted regarding him were truths. He spazzed out and went back through my post history, confronting me on several things I said that could be seen as negative or controversial, basically trying to extort me. I brushed it off because I'm so cool, obviously.
So anyway, shortly thereafter he started acting like he was doing me a favor, and deleted those negative reviews, restoring a positive (or neutral, depending on your settings) trust rating on my account.
When he realized I wasn't going to do the same for him, he came right back and posted more false negatives on my profile.
Now, this isn't a huge deal because I'm not a very active trader here, especially when my BTC-e account actually works
But my question is simply: what do I do? What CAN I do?
There doesn't appear to be any means of expunging these false reports. In the past I tried seeking helping from TomatoCage (resident forum coolguy) and he didn't/couldn't really do much. Are there any measures for dealing with this type of guy? He won't go away, because he is dead-set on becoming a trusted 'Senior Member', which is the reason he is hounding me so hard about those negative reviews. It makes me wonder what his end-goal is.

This already happened.
Most altcoin prices went up because they are usually just traded against Bitcoin by people hoping for a profit. Then a bunch of new altcoins came along (Dogecoin being the most popular).
Most of them offered nothing new, were gimmicky, or sucked, and faded into obscurity when Bitcoin mania wore off.
It has happened before and may happen again. Altcoins are kind of a drag.

I still don't know what the Bitcoin Foundation even does. I tried to find out more about them but they lock parts of their website, wanting to charge you ungodly amounts of money to become a member and read their discussions.

i personally have not been hacked but am doing a PSA to avoid any possibility of another neobee or goxxing.

And get away from Coinbase. Their response to this situation has been horrible. Through lack of availability when the incident started to the flaws in their system that allows what I am finding to be prevalent hacking, their response is awful. Coinbase is worse than useless. As I speak to others about my experience, I realize that this is a common perception within the community.

For a sensible person it's actually HARD to get hacked. I only ever log into Coinbase from one computer, and my username and password there are different from any other site where I have an account.
If I were hacked it would have to be my dog who did it.

I think we are now in the final phase where coins can be accumulated relatively cheaply. Who knows how long it will last? I personally think we will move sharply up in the next few weeks or months.
Every day there is new positive news. The auction reinforced the friendly US position towards bitcoin. Several giant retailers have publically integrated bitcoin into their payment systems. Today it was the turn of Newegg.
Over the coming weeks and months I predict user adoption will start to move upwards sharply again. This will cause the price to rise. It will be front run by whales and big players.
A common theme is that bitcoin bubbles reduce in amplitude with each successive leap but I am not so sure. Once a battle for the ATH commences its off to the races.
It is time to speculate to accumulate! Ignore the bears and traders. Look at the big picture. Every single time in the past my only regret with bitcoin is that I didn't buy more when i had the chance.
