Some things to check.

- One of my rigs started using 3,5 GB of ram. Closed the miner and it dropped to the usual 420 Mb.
- On another rig one GPU dropped to 0 and another GPU dropped to 500 (RX 470 usually working at 750-770). Restarted the miner also.

GPU 2, GpuMiner dk2an0 failed -4

Managed to get rid of it setting the virtual memory to... 50 GB ?!?!?!?!  Huh Huh Huh

What the hell are you doing with 50Gb ? Opening a a porn site ? Grin Grin Grin

Some features still don't work and crashes the rig (GPU clock and setting the -h value).

Nice speed increase 10-20% Smiley

The same amount of memory that is allocated in the gpu memory and used for computations must be duplicated in virtual memory.
So for multi-gpu rigs it is huge.
-h option works well, check what you are doing ...

Around 52 Gb then..  Got it.

-h option is not working on my rigs. Tried 992 and 1000 on two of them.
Checked again.
It apeares that the rig didn't crash after all but it slowed down 99.9% and there wasn't anything moving. Minutes later one line with the temperature appeared on the miner window.

There are no other parameters. Just the pool address, the user, the password and the -h 992. So I could not be doing anything wrong.

Hello,

anyone experiencing very low Monero payouts, like 30-40% lower then they should be according to given hash rate?

Thanks!
I did. I should have 0.32xmr at least and I got 0.28xmr two days in a row.

I will probably get 0.34 xmr today since half of the day has past.
But I had a similar value some days back then dropped to 0.28 xmr

I still follow my friend's miners on the hub and 0.23 day before instead of 0.3...and last 24h 0.20 ...disaster

I'm dropping from 0.34 yesterday to 0.24 0.22 xmr today.
The rigs are the same. Working 24/7...

why miningpoolhub always shows less hashrate than i have?

2x GTX 970, miner shows 2042 kH/s, pool shows 1491kH/s
Ryzen 1600X, miner shows 450kH/s, pool shows 224kH/s
i5 7300HQ, miner shows 349kH/s, pool shows 93kH/s
GTX 1050, miner shows 495kH/s, pool shows 194kH/s

Im mining Zcoin

I have a similar problem in Monero.
Sometimes I get 0.32 XMR a day and the next couple of days with one more GPU mining and a optimization of some Kh/s on all the rigs I get only 0.28 XMR.
Any clue?

I have another question.
What is "(Shrunk accumulated Credit transactions)"?

Hey there,

You can do it here - https://my.bitwala.com/cards

Best regards,
Bitwala Team

There is no option to control the satoshi/byte in there.
Robert just told me I could change it when sending money to my card.

If you wish to change the  satoshi/byte please top up your card on the web app and not on the mobile app. https://my.bitwala.com/   (https://my.bitwala.com/)

Where is that option?

Hi Dangerous_Mind,

When topping up your card on our web app, a wallet address will be created for you to send us the BTC amount. You can copy paste the BTC address into any BTC wallet and choose the satoshi/byte. Your card will be topped up as  soon as we receive the amount. This can influence the time it takes until the funds are on your card.

Best regards,

Robert @Bitwala

I thought on doing that but I wasn't sure if you had a process running behind the top up process so I made a regular transaction. I'll try it next time. Thanks  Smiley
My mining pools usually make 1€ transactions and they don't take much time to arrive to you. Usually less then an hour. I know if the mempool is full it could take more. But I can always check its progress so I'm ok with it.

Some days back I tried 100€ again and it asked me for 8€. Then I added more 150€ in bitcoins to make the top up.
Then it asked me 17€ for 250€.
So I tried 200€ and it asked for 12€ and I made the transaction.

You should really check your code behind in calculating the fee it is very strange how it behaves.

Thanks Robert

A 200W drop (5 GPU Rig)
by
Dangerous_Mind
on 29/08/2017, 19:45:40 UTC
Hi,

I'm mining Monero atm. And I was trying finding a better voltage for my cards and messing with Afterburner.
Since I couldn't drop bellow 1100 mv in some of my cards I decided to open Radeon configuration.
I went to the core voltage switched to manual and then changed the voltage. But it returned back to normal after some seconds.
I thought I would probably need to change the straps on the bios.

But then I switched the core voltage back to automatic the voltage switched to around 880-930 mV on my afterburner (I have my Afterburner open with -92).

All I had to do was, switch the Voltage to Manual, accept the change and then switch back to Automatic on all of my GPU and my rig dropped from 800 W to 600 W on the wall.

I tested on all my rigs and it worked in all of them without a crash.
I had some GPU that where overheating (74º) and dropped to 59º.
The hashrate stayed normal. I don't know if it can influence I was mining at the same time.

I really don't understand the science behind this and if it will stay after reboot but it works.  Grin

You can move Ethereum to card directly or does the money has to be converted to bitcoins then to EUR with all the fees and waiting time of the Bitcoin?
For all your requirements you can read this they already give all informations about Ethereum here on this page https://uquid.com/ethereum-debit-card

There is no information about what I asked.
They could receive in ETH then you need a fee to change to BTC and then another to change to EUR.

yes driver work but 200w plus in 5 rx 470 rig.. too much i'm wainting for a new release
Just modify your bios, these drivers need a little bit tweaking but it works great Wink

I had some problems with bad shares after the upgrade and had to increase the voltage to get rid of it in one GPU.
But didn't see a big wattage increase.

Probably you'll have to tune the GPU up again.

But there is a Beta version from AMD already fixing this.
Use the AMD clean up utility before installing new beta version.

Re: NiceHash Miner - easy-to-use best-profit multi-device cryptocurrency miner
by
Dangerous_Mind
on 25/08/2017, 02:18:08 UTC
My calculations have NiceHash as being equally profitable if it's within 8% of the profit we could get mining directly to a pool. That would include having your BTC mined straight to an exchange wallet in order to save on the extra transaction fees.... obviously if you want to keep your BTC that's not part of the equation for you.

After that theoretical 8% margin it's a matter of pure convenience and only the individual can determine how much the convenience factor is worth to them.

That's what I imagined.
I mined in Nicehash as my first pool for some time and the hashrates were always bouncing from 60MHs to 140MHs.
They should check that also. It's a bit annoying.
Never the less they are one of the most profitable ways of mining.

Hey Nicehash...

You guys should increase the transaction fees when making payouts.

Otherwise it takes forever (all day?) to arrive if not longer.

I don't think that's a good idea. You could end up paying 20€ or more for a transaction (I'm been asked for that value on other places).
And for small miners it would be bad.

But they could make a option for users chose there transaction fee.

I can top up the card from here https://my.bitwala.com/bitcoin?

It would be a good solution. Where can I find my card address?

I was going to drop this subject. Then I saw this:

The UTXO is 2.45€ before the transaction
http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4375/36382405330_7618705339_b.jpg

And then the UTXO is 18.5€ on the same transaction confirmation.

Care to comment?

Hi Dangerous_Mind,

Thank you getting back to us I was just working on answering your questions about our exchange rate.

So you always have 2 UTXO fees one that covers the necessary UTXO fees that allows us to process your payment and one to pay the UTXO fees to send your funds to us. We (and our competitors) don't have any influence when it comes to these fees.

Best regards,

Robert @Bitwala

So the first UTXO fee costs 2.45€ and the second costs 15€...

I just talked to one of your competitors and they said:
Quote
At the moment, the miner fee within our services is fixed and makes 0,0005 BTC (1.78€) per transaction. However, we are planning to give to our users an opportunity to choose the amount they are willing to pay for outgoing transactions by themselves.

They take there money on other fees like 1% on the transaction. If I would make a transaction of 5.000€ with them I would pay much more on there service but would pay much less if I make a 100€ transaction with you.

We have to know what are the rules of the game to make the best choices. And we won't trust our money to companies that hides things from us.

Your support has another explanation for this...
Quote
The fee depends on the number of incoming transactions to your wallet, so the more of transaction transferring to or away from your wallet the higher the fee you will have pay for the transaction.
Glad I made few transactions.

Move away from wirex. I switched from wirex to bitwala because of their ridicolous fees, shitty support, and so many problems with using their services. They are the moat horrible company i have ever had to deal with.

Bitwala is trying to tax me right now for 10€, 8€, 9€, 11€, 15€  for me to top up my card with 100€ or transfer money to my account.
The fee depends on the minute I press ok then cancel then ok..
And the value they pay for each bitcoin is very bellow of the market.
108€ on market value is about 98€ then pay you. Then you pay the fee...

In total is about 25€ lost in a 100€ transfer. And since they are not responding to my message I already lost 25€ more since the bitcoin dropped.

I contacted bitwala about 4 times in less then a month to solve problems with the app , account, card  and transfer money.

I think you are talking of wirex, never had problem like that with bitwala before. I paid 102€ for 100€ balance on the card. Bitwala is a very honest company, meanwhile wirex is just bunch of leeches nowadays.

I thought that also. But I'm a bit disappointed on them.
Check this screenshots.

The UTXO is 2.45€ before the transaction

They just answered saying it has two UTXO transaction:

They do have influence when they chose the satoshi/byte.
