I think with or without the red card, Barcelona will still defeat them because the matching a revenge match for Barcelona following the 1-0 defeat Real Sociedad defeated Barcelona in their home in their Laliga first leg match; and this match is very important for Barcelona to win because it will give them the chance to lead the Laliga table ahead Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid and they finally lead with one point ahead of Atletico Madrid and three points above Real Madrid.
Real Sociedad's performance this season is impressive enough for one to predict that they stand a chance of getting a result at Barcelona but realistically, anyone who's been watching the league leaders performance this season will agree to the opinion that Barcelona was undoubtedly the favorites to win that game with or without Elustondo's 17th minute red card. Before the game, Barcelona knew that would take them to the top of the league after Real Madrid lost to Real Betis on Saturday. So if you ask me, Barcelona's win didn't just happen because the played against a 10-man Real Sociedad.

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
Our fucking GOAT Antony is now wanted by a lot of clubs. I know he has not yet released his true skill when he was at United. It's fucking awesome out GOAT is coming back.
Beside Betis, Juventus and two Saudi clubs are now interesting to sign him. That's unbelievable how GOAT changed everything in a few matches.
I hope Real Madrid/Barcelona will also consider him soon. Let Antony to show the true level of football.
As a professional footballer, it's very important to firstly know your worth and when things aren't going your way in a particular club, also know when to make a move out of the club. Antony is now being wanted by different clubs because of how he's significantly improved since he joined Real Betis on loan during the January transfer window. Before the winter, the Brazilian winger was regarded as a flop by many and had he remained there, he wouldn't be getting these offers that's been tabled before him. Now that he's getting these offers, it's now left for him to take his time and decide which will give him a better chance of success. Hopefully for him, he'll make a good move at the end of the season.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread
Brazilian national team has very good players, individually speaking. But once they play together, side by side, nothing really happens. The team struggled against almost every south american national teams last tournament. They have to improve a lot cooperatively if they want to take seriously the idea of competing the next World Cup. An average national team which plays as an organized communicative group can easily beat Brazil, just like it has been happening in previous World Cups.
Don't you think it'll take a world class manager with enough managerial experience to assemble these very talented Brazilian stars and make them a big big force. Brazil have the most talented footballers in the world but in recent years, the national team haven't been able to live up to expectations of many football fans across the globe and if you ask me I think it's because of the coaches that's been in charge of technical and tactical approaches of the team. It's time for the Brazilian football federation to go look for a manager that can get the best out of these big players when playing like a team so they can be able to conquer the world in the next FIFA World Cup tournament.

Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1)
Yes, that's right, nothing can stop them from dominating the league this season and maybe the next season too. Unless they really go bankrupt and lose their top players. The French Ligue is quite different from other domestic leagues. Where in the French Ligue, clubs other than PSG have not been able to get big investors or sponsors that can lift their clubs much bigger. Now it is quite developing, see Marseille, but that's not enough.
Oh yeah, talking about Marseille, the club got full points again in the match against Nantes. The score is 2 - 0 and this is quite good, considering Nantes is also a small club there. Source: FT | Marseille 2-0 Nantes
Marseille started the season on a very impressive note which made me and many others consider as a team that'll strongly challenge Paris Saint Germaine's dominance in the French league but unfortunately, they couldn't keep up with their early good start. Yesterday's win against Nantes didn't come as a surprise to me because I don't see a struggling Nantes come to Stade Vélodrome and get a result. For Paris Saint Germaine, it's obvious that no other French team is formidable enough to challenge them for the league title so I don't even think it's a debate for now. Hopefully, we're going to see a team in the French league that'll strongly challenge the dominant people of the reigning champions but until then, we'll continue to live with Luis Enrique's hold of the league

Re: What’s the reason for ridiculous KYC requirements?
I done see a reason why a casino would demand for those things in other to verify your KYC. Unless it's a local casino that's only based on your region but still it's kind of ridiculous to demand a shot with news paper on your hands just verify your address. However it would be kind of complicated if the casino had requested for the KYC while making withdrawal instead of request for it immediately you signed up . Some of these casinos are scammers which means you must be careful the ones you deal with.
The reason why casinos demands for KYC from customers are enormous and very important at that matter. Casinos before they adopted the KYC policy was used for some illegal activities like money laundering, fraud and even terrorist financing. Other reasons are to help casino companies by get the real age and identity of their customers to avoid underaged children from using casino companies to bet so unless you have something opposing to the above listed reasons, I don't see a reason why you should kick against KYC.
Congrats to Dortmund for beating the worst teams of the season 2 times in a row! Until they face more challenging teams, it is difficult to be sure whether they are back on track or not.
Before anything else, they face Lille in the Champions League next time. It is a home game. I think Dortmund will get a good result to get advantageous.
Interestingly they seem better there compared to the Bundesliga...
Borussia Dortmund's Bundesliga campaign this season started on a poor note but three straight wins in their last three fixtures in the league have helped them reach the 10th losing our of the league as well as set them on a good form as they host French team Lille tomorrow in the UEFA Champions League. Last season, they also weren't a major competitor for the German Bundesliga title last season but they finished the season as a UEFA Champions League finalist which they lost the game to eventual winners Real Madrid. This season, they might not reach the final but I think they'll definitely reach the next round who is is the quarter finals by eliminating their round of 16 opponents Lille. I'll be interested in their game tomorrow and I hope it ends in victory of the German club.
I don't see much of a future for Man City as they are unable to maintain their consistency. Winning the title is more of a formality for Liverpool now unless something incredible happens it will definitely be in their favour. It is uncertain how much of an advantage it will be for Arsenal who are thirteen points behind but I will praise their consistent play but being so far behind the chance of strengthening their position by winning the next match is very small. In this regard Nottingham and Man City are trying to maintain their position and secure their place in the Champions League next season.
Of course Manchester City are technically out of the race for the English Premier League title this even when we know they're still mathematically not out of it. I don't even think a miracle would be enough to see them win the league.
For Arsenal who are 13 points behind the league leaders and playing a game lesser than them, they still have hope of a turnaround but for that hope to materialize, Liverpool will have to suffer a very poor run of form. The results of the next five league games for Arsenal and Liverpool will determine if they'll remain in the race till the end of the season.
Liverpool have been the best team in the league this season and considering how far they've come, I'm 95% sure the EPL title is going to Anfield this season
3 goal without reply became the result of Fenerbahce winning which was quite amazing and could still catch up with Galatasaray, with this winning also certainly made the fans cheer and be happy because previously they had to be willing to share points from draw against Galatasaray.
I got win in betting for this match by making Fenerbahce the favorite and Under 3.5 which gave an odds @2.10 and in the future Fenerbahce will focus on 2 match in the last 16 of the Europa League against Rangers before returning to play in the Turkish Super League.
I added the Fenerbahce home game Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig yesterday in my betting slip and was very happy that my prediction that the home team will win and score 2+ goals played out the same way I predicted. Fenerbahce are aiming at catching up with league leaders Galatasaray in their quest overtake them and possibly win the league title this season so you should expect them to go all out and win yesterday's game. With that win, they're now four points behind Galatasaray as they continue to press for the league trophy.
Jose Mourinho I though had a poor start his Fenerbahce spell but it seems he's now gotten the best playing style for the team and I hope it helps then win at least a trophy at the end of the season
Let their situation not end up like that of Roma who has been sacking and bringing new coaches. Milan does not know where their problem lies. A more professional coach should be hired to manage the team, because the team has the players and quality to win Seria A. Imagine how they struggled with Lazio yesterday, and couldn't hold on to their ground at home.
So you know that the constant sacking of underperforming manager till they finally got good manager like Claudio Ranieri is the reason why Roma fans are now dreaming of European football next season? Before Claudio Ranieri arrived, Roma were struggling and going down the relegation zone but after a good run of results they're now 6 points behind an Europa League spot for next season. So if AC Milan will resort to sacking their managers until they get who'll help improve the team? Then I don't see anything wrong with that.

Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽
4 PL games ended 9-0. Man Utd beat Ipswich 9-0. Leicester and Man Utd beat Southampton 9-0. Liverpool beat Bournemouth 9-0 in 2022. Mohamed Salah is the best striker in the world so will it be a record breaking 10-0 score when they play Southampton at Anfield this week?
10:0 in favour of Liverpool against Southampton? I don't think that'll be possible to be honest even when I'm very much aware that Liverpool have undoubtedly been the best side in the league this season. At Anfield in the coming the weekend, I expect Liverpool to win with a wide margin when they host Southampton but scoring 10 unreplied goals against the Saint I don't think is a result that's even the gonna happen.
Congrats Fulham for smashing Manchester United's ass. I know you can do that. I also thanks for Lidelof and Zirkzee who helped them to qualify for the next round. I know those guys are shit by missed the penalties.
As for Manchester United, what i can see is about how Manchester United gets carried by Bruno alone. He helped his club a lot by created many chances, and shoots. I also admit Chido Obi looked quite impressive here, by created three big chances, but missed it all.
I think MU was not even progressing. Only fewer players were good but the rest are crap.
Manchester United's performance in recent games are nothing to write home about so I wasn't surprised that they were eliminated yesterday from the English FA Cup by very determined Fulham side. Manchester United played that game like an average team who was just hoping for the best. The only positive I think they can take away from yesterday's game was the performance of their academy player Chido Obi who hunted for goals yesterday but was denied at the end. Ruben Amorim will now have to turn this attention to the UEFA Europa League competition because that's the only route of winning a trophy for them this season though I doubt they'll be able to win that one

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25
Actually I think real madrid do not show much interest in wining their league, moreover I think they are much interested in wining the champions league this season because their performance in their previous match against real betis was not impressive at all
Losing to Real Betis and dropping to 3rd position in the Spanish La Liga standings as well as trailing league leaders Barcelona by 3 points isn't enough reason for you to think that Real Madrid aren't interested in winning the Spanish La Liga title this season. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti's expression at full time in that game should tell you he wasn't happy with that result but had to accept it. Real Madrid are very much interested in retaining the league title this season if you ask me and I think they'll continue fighting for till the end of the season.
The match between PSG vs Liverpool will be one of the exciting matches in the Round of 16, besides Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid. Based on the H2H data between the two, both PSG and Liverpool are equally equal with a winning ratio of 1: 1 that happened in UCL 2018/2019.
They each excel when playing at home. But at that time, there was still Mbappe and other top players. Now, is it still possible? while one of the clubs must be eliminated. Source: PSG vs LFC
The ties in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League that you just mentioned undoubtedly the most interesting in this stage of the competition because it involves four teams that are considered as top contenders to win the competition this season. The Liverpool vs Paris Saint Germaine tie will be very difficult to predict if you ask ask me but I feel the result of the first leg will determine who will be progressing to the next round. But if I'm to predict, I think the English Premier League club will get the better of their French opponents. For Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid, firstly, it's a Madrid derby and because both teams knows the strength of each other, I expect them to be too careful not to concede goals and that's why I'm not expecting a thriller in any of the two games but at the end, I expect Real Madrid to eliminate Atletico
He's going to break the record, he needs either goals or assist and Liverpool are in a good form that neither of those might be a problem for them. I'm happy for Mo Salah as he is one of the most downplayed player in the premier league history with everything that he has achieved and still not being ranked among the greatest. If he was playing for a more respected team like Real Madrid, he would had won many individual awards by now as he's a very talented player. After breaking this record, some respect will be put on his name as the record won't be broken anytime soon. I want him to break the record and also set a higher one that'll take decades to break.
For Mohammed Salah, I think he's definitely going to break the record because Liverpool at the moment aren't playing under any pressure and so are the club players. Mohammed Salah have unarguably been the most impressive player in the English Premier League this season and looking at his stats this season becoming the player with most goals contributions in a single English Premier League season I think is within his grasp.
I don't see Leverkusen closing that gap between it and Bayern any time soon. Perhaps, it will happen if Bayern relaxes and continues to make mistakes, but I don't see that feasible at this time of the tournament. This is what I often emphasise within some clubs, it's better you fight with all seriousness from the beginning to the end and not just try to pick up the pieces when the half-time of the tournament is spent, we only have a full 2 months to the end of the season.
Notwithstanding, Eintracht Frankfurt is a tough club, and beating it at Deutsche Bank Park with a beautiful display from start to finish is commendable.
With just 10 remaining league games to play, I think that it'll be almost impossible for Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen to catch up with league leaders Bayern Munich and that's not because they can't be consistent enough to win at least 8/10 of the remaining fixtures but because Vincent Kompany's men are also on a good run of form and would do everything possible to win as many points that'll confirm them as champions. Bayern Munich have fought so hard to reclaim the league trophy so I don't expect them to start underperforming in the last few games of the season.
Although, AC Milan played better and held on to possession today but it really wasn't enough to hold back Lazio. Though I feel that the straight red card given to Pavlović really affected them, because it's not easy playing 10 Vs 11. But nevertheless, that's not an excuse for AC Milan poor form over the past few games. I already knew that they would lose today but I actually didn't expect them to play well like they did today.
I did watch the AC Milan vs Lazio game and if you ask me, I think the result didn't match the performance of both teams on the pitch. AC Milan dominated the game even when they were trailing by a goal down until the 67th minute when Strahinja Pavlović was sent off. It was after then that Lazio began to press for another goal against the 10-man AC Milan but instead of getting a second goal, Samuel Chukwueze scored in the 84th minute to give the home side a big hope of getting at least a point from the game but few minutes into the additional time got a penalty that was later converted to hand Lazio an all important three points that's ensured they overtake Juventus into the 4th position of the league table. AC Milan players I think will be very disappointed with that result because they actually have their best to at least stop Lazio from winning but it didn't happen at the end
We're into the additional time in the Manchester United English FA Cup at home against Fulham. It's 1:1 and both teams are trying to find a late goal that may potentially be the winner. Fulham is playing with full confidence like a team that wants nothing but a win while Manchester United is defending well as well as running into Fulham defense when with the ball. Who do you think is going to win this one? I think Fulham but will like to read your submissions
End of an era for Manchester United. They have been really impressive in the FA Cup recently but it was until this time. They got eliminated by Fulham on penalties.
This will be a criticism point for Amorim. Because no matter how much I didn't like Erik ten Hag, I must admit that he was successful in this cup with that trash squad. Amorim's team gave up very early this year. But I still don't feel like he will be replaced soon. I expect the board to give him more time. He will make new transfers to add some power to the team. Then we will see how capable Amorim is in reality. If he also turns out to be not much different than ten Hag then I don't think they will wait long to sack him.
I saw the enthusiastic drive to win from Fulham and the lack of enough confidence from the Manchester United players before making that prediction that I think Fulham were going to progress to the next round of the competition at the expense of Manchester United and at the end, the result happened just like I predicted. Ruben Amorim is doing everything within his managerial abilities to improve Manchester United performance but it seems his best isn't enough for the club. I know the Portuguese manager is going to face intense criticism for yet another poor result at Old Trafford but I think the club fans should just bear with him till the end of the season when he will sign players of his choice

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
Liverpool wants Alexander Isak but the price will be over 120m and competition from Chelsea and Arsenal. Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are in an auction sale for Lamine Camara. Arsenal and Chelsea have on their radar Benjamin Sesko. Bayern Munich wants Florian Wirtz but also Mancehst City is on the player.
Some fresh news from BBC
Should Liverpool and the other top English Premier League clubs you listed above show interest in Alexander Isak with same of similar financial packages, it's obvious that the swedish striker will easily chose Liverpool ahead of them because with Liverpool, he's certain things of winning a major trophy in his first three seasons with the club.
That said, past events shows that most of the transfer gossips on BBC sports websites doesn't actually materialize which is why I actually do not take their speculations serious.
Glad to see that how EPL still has some sense to prevent stupid goal keepers to do time wasting. It's always disgusting when i was seeing a goal keeper such as Raya and E Martinez were always doing time wasting.
The next rule is to give 8 seconds as the maximum time for the GK to holding the ball. When GK holds more than 8 seconds, and opponent will be awarded corner kick.
I do like this new rule as it's preventing team like Arsenal and Villa did time wasting.
I love everything about this new rule. Goalkeepers are very fond of delaying time especially when their teams are winning and that I think slows down the nervous moments in football. So I'll be happy to see how goalkeepers will now be forced to not hold the ball past 8 seconds. Emiliano Martinez I think is the major specialist in doing that but now that the rule will take effect next season, every goalkeeper will just have to adapt to that
