We will certainly not know that great feeling of happiness and contentment if at some point we easily gives up to life's disappointments/challenges. Everything that we're experiencing and facing now with our dealings with cryptocurrencies - dreadful bear market; extensive losses; scams; etc - were all just temporary. Sooner or later, our dilemma will be over and eventually things/situation in the crypto world will change for the better and to our benefit.

Base sa pagkakaintindi ko, wala pang tax sa ngayon ang cryptocurrencies. At sa aking palagay, isa iyan sa dahilan kung bakit ninanais at isinusulong ng gobyerno ang regulation ng cryptocurrencies. Because once it is regulated, the government will come up with rules to levy our cryptocurrency holdings and take an increasingly large share on profits made on sale.
That would be Ethereum. Ethereum first of all, is not just a digital currency. It is a blockchain-based platform with many aspects. Its system is uniquely flexible and extensible and it is already being used within a wide range of industries. And after its Constantinople upgrade which aims on improving Ethereums performance, scalability, and efficiency, i don't think there will be another altcoin to surpass these great cryptocurrency.

Most of the time, we're given a very small quantity of tokens from airdrop and in addition, those tokens have very little or no value at all. That is the very reason why i am very hesitant in participating in airdrops. I'm just saying.

I find Ethereum as a very significant cryptocurrency. It was not simply a digital asset but a platform that allows others to build out other platforms on the same Ethereum blockchain. Its functional utility is just way too infinite therefore serves a bigger purpose.
While on the other hand, Bitcoin Cash being built upon the bitcoin model is primarily a digital currency. Period.

Matagal na naman natin alam na mayroon na talagang ATM para sa cryptocurrencies, sa ngayon kasi kahit dumami pa ang mga ATM bawat branch ng union bank wala pa rin magandang epekto ito lalo na sa price ng BTC at lahat ng altcoins sa ngayon. Maaari siguro tayo matutuwa kung sakaling makabalik muli sa matatag na presyo ang BTC.
Having Bitcoin ATM will not magically increase the price of bitcoin. The main goal of Cryptocurrency ATM is adoption and accessibility to common people.
Up to this day, Most of our countrymen are still hesitant to buy bitcoin via coins.ph since they have a misconception about bitcoin as a digital payment currency. But if Bitcoin is offered by a well known Bank their attitude towards bitcoin will turn from negative to positive and this in turn will create a strong demand for bitcoin and the price increase will follow.

Iyan ang nakikita nilang paraan sampu ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas para mas lumawak ang kumpiyansa ng mga kababayan natin patungkol sa cryptocurrency. At sa tingin ko, ATM ang pinakamabisa at madaling paraan upang makapag transaksiyon [buy and sell] ng crypto kumpara sa exchanges. Dahil instant or mismong sa oras na iyon kita na natin ang resulta.

I disagree. Sa aking palagay, hindi naman masasabi na walang progreso sa Pilipinas ang crypto. Kung matatandaan mo, nag launch ang isa sa kinikilalang bangko dito sa atin ng Bitcoin ATM, ang Union Bank. At itong move na ito ng Union Bank ay suportado ng mismong Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas [BSP]. Ang ATM na ito ay ang first ever two-way cryptocurrency na nag-a-allow sa kanilang mga kliyente na bumili at magbenta ng cryptocurrencies sa pamamagitan ng kanilang fiat. Pinapatunayan lamang nito na ang BSP ay may positibong pananaw patungkol sa regulation of the local cryptocurrency industry. Yup! That's why I get confused why Unionbank tell that they are the first who established a btc ATM here in our country and why others believe the same thing (well, probably they're not aware of it). If they say that they are the first company/bank who did this then probably they're the first, but technically speaking, they're still not the first

Yung mga naunang ATM's kasi ay solely for buying purposes only [as per zenrol28 post] at hindi rin malinaw kung available din ba kung Altcoins ang kailangan mo. Ang malinaw dito ay yung Union Bank's ATM machine can do it all.

Meron na bang naka testing dito na mga forum members dyan sa mga ATM machines na mga yan? Maganda sana kung mag comment sya dito para malaman natin kung ok na etong gamitin?
Actually, yan din ang hinihintay ko na sana may mag confirm dito na yung ATM machine for Bitcoin is pwedi ng gamitin. I am also looking information about the UnionBank ATM machine for bitcoin pero I think para wala pang balita. Sana dumami pa yung Bitcoin ATM machine para naman mas madalian na yung pagpurchase nito maliban sa coins.ph na need mo pa mag undergo ng KYC submission.
Mga kabayan, actually meron nang nakapag try gumamit ng ATM machine na yan sa Sunnette Tower. Si kabayang "zenrol28", nagpost siya last Feb. 23 with matching pictures. Bumili siya ng Bitcoin kaya nga lang eh medyo mahal daw ng 3% compared to coins.ph, no withdrawal, at walang technical support na naka-antabay. [i-check niyo yung post niya sa page 1 ng topic na ito]. It's a good thing na gumagana siya kahit na nga for buying pa lang.

All throughout this harsh prolonged bear market, i've realized that i have the capacity to withstand and tolerate frustration and despair.
In simpler words, i am patient enough to ignore totally the discomfort brought about by the brutal bear. Looking back, if i am utterly impatient, i could have sold all my tokens when i am in most need of fiat many times in the past. But the mere fact that i didn't was just mind-blowing.
Knowing that i have that in me, i feel more secure and satisfied that at the right time i can truly achieve my set-goal in this harsh unstable world of cryptocurrency.

Altcoins too expensive? What exchanges were you looking at? OP, the crypto market is actually and still at its bearish condition. I really think most of the altcoins prices were low-priced. Why invest on something your fiat cannot afford? Go for some cheap but with potential ones.
I found Ms. Kamamoto's reasonings educational and logical in the true sense of it, however, she forgot one very particular reason.
Honestly speaking, the thought that some day in this lifetime. i'll be given the opportunity to live a comfortable life together with my whole family through my earnings/profit from cryptocurrencies, is the very reason of my continuous relationship with crypto.

Looking closely at coinmarketcap.com as of this moment, everything's in red. However i would like to be optimistic that something like "crypto's to the moon" is to take place, in reality is it's not. General consensus among market analysts is that this trend is likely to continue for sometime. Nothing is certain. So at this stage, its difficult to predict exactly what will happen.

So just gave a call to someone i knew he was interested since few weeks ago in my girlfriends car, and just sold it for 2000..nearly 13 ETH at this prices..
maybe for others it is not a lot of money..but for us, it is..no more money left, and living with my parents! hahaha
yes i STILLL BELIEVE IN CRYPTO.. the best is still out there to come in the next 2 years i think.. so with a pair of.. I am ALL IN

Many of you say i am crazy or stupid and i should be shaking right now... but you are very wrong.. in fact, I am absolutely not nervous or worried. if you read my later posts, you will find i invested my ETH on 4 altcoins, and the value in ETH (not in US$) didnt changed much for these coins. Anyway, i assume risks and consequences. ANd the big difference among us, is i am not a mercenary like many of you, that just followed the hype.. i am talking about them who are here for few fast bucks, .. i am different because i am for the longterm as i BELIEVE in blockchain.. and i didnt took this decision as if i was blind or stupid! I did my propper research long time ago, and strongly think crypto will be a standard in the future.. maybe not tomorrow, or next week, or month.. also not next year.. i am not in a hurry! i think i got everything i need to live...it took most of my life to realize material things wont make me happier.. i dont need much anymore because i found i was already happy .. I am not interested about lambos, mansions,... I am more interested in a more fair world for everyone. The big fishes (venture capital, banks...) have their profits being cutted, and this makes me really happy! Our life quality will improve in the longterm.. almost everything will be public, transparent and fair...

OP, i am just really curious, why your girlfriends car? Why not yours? You earnestly wanted to make a big difference in your life through cryptocurrency investing but it's not even your own money you've invested in, in the first place. And not even once have you mentioned your girlfriend in all your plans.
However, i do salute you for your belief and your perspective for Ethereum [which by the way is truly a good investment] and long term investing [i'm also a believer in long term].
Come to think of it, the price of Ethereum on the time you bought it was much higher than ETH's current price. I'm just saying.

Kabayan, sa kasalukuyan, nasa $3,942.62 ang presyo ng Bitcoin. Konting hinga na lang pasok na siya sa $4000 level. Bagama't maraming crypto analysts ang nagdedeklara na sa mga darating pang araw ay mas bababa pa ito sa kumpara sa kasalukuyan, ay naniniwala ako na hindi ito aabot sa mas mababa sa $3000 mark.
