what a complete and utter load of bllx this thread is.

This is how it works in real life. For instance a tennis tournament.

AS each point is played it is broadcast over satellite with what is called a uplink feed.(0.525 seconds) because the signal is going 35000 kilometres into space),this is then sent back to earth, probably encrypted(0.525 seconds)
Television company's around the world will receive this signal .

They will then add their own commentary and graphics, and send the signal back to space ( another c 2.5 seconds).
Other tv will use THIS signal and repeat the process with their own graphics( another 1.5 seconds).

Meanwhile betting syndicates, will have at the venue stewards using mobile phone technology with a delay of 0.01 second
Meanwhile bookies, sportsbook , will have at the venue stewards , or pay for he same from dedicated data providers( the biggest is sportsradar).
And then will impose a delay of 3 to 5 second on live bets.

No way can the OP supply faster updates than what is the norm.
That is why serious betters are at the venue themselves, or paying for the 0.1 phone delay.

I think you would get many users with horse racing, with sports betting you have 100's of sites and much competition in the bitcoin world.

There are very few bitcoin with horse racing, and the few there are, are  all flimpers.

I know you said in earlier post more difficult to set up horses, but sometimes a more difficult task renders greater success.

Re: Live betting question.

I'm not familiar with betcoin's live betting since i've only tried them pre live but if the score changes while you're betting there should be a notification about an odds change asking you to confirm the bet for the second time.

On the other hand it could be just some bad timing since there's a delay. I also experienced this with other sportsbook when I was live betting some tennis match before I could lock my bet the odds kept getting smaller and at the same time my bet gets rejected.

you are not understanding the dispute.

It is not about the odds changing.

Try and read again the original complaint.

We are aware of the player's complaint, as he threatened earlier he would make said complaint unless he received a bonus. To clarify, the player is upset because his wager was accepted prior to action taking place which was negative for his side and he believes it would not have been accepted had the action worked in his favor. As we explained to him, he received the exact wager he attempted and we cannot refund a bet based on his speculation that it would have worked out differently had a different action occurred. It is interesting that the player mentions Stake, because if you search the forums they have been accused of this same thing, as has every sportsbook with continuous live betting offered, usually by a player who is not clear on how it is supposed to operate. That said, Stake is a great site and we encourage him to play where he has the best experience.

As always, we strongly encourage anyone with experience with our live betting platform to share their feedback, as well. Thanks and best of luck to all!

Now I am not siding with the player against betcoin.ag, for the simple reason in all of the firms I  have bet with and I have 20 years experience of inplay with hundreds of firms, none have ever done this.

Having said that the answer above is rubbish and the lack of clarity as to what should happen is pitiful.

What is the norm(and should have been explained) is that when a bet is submitted the delay kicks in, if no event occurs in this delay time(advantaging EITHER TEAM) then the bet is good and valid.

If the Op has his facts right then it is fraud, but for me I  do not think a firm would do this.
A lot easier to just not pay winners, as many firms do(no aspirations on (Betcoin.ag)

see above, never had understood the layout.

There is no need for both options in a two way market, betfair do it as well, Jackson Jags option is redundant it is not needed.

Alot money will Exchange but where the Money is Come from and where the coins come from?

If it's not your BTC, then arguably it's none of your business where the money comes from.  But given that these are institutional investors, the money likely comes from wealthy individuals looking for better ROI than they might find on the stock markets.

And what do you mean by "where the coins come from"?  The same place where all other bitcoins come from, algorithmic emission through mining.

Why do I think that answer is best ever on the forum?

the world would stand still for the election of arguably the greatest Contemporary nation on earth, the United States.

Lol! I am not sure why Americans always claims they are the greatest nation on earth! That's kind of funny as it seems like Americans try to reassure themselves by saying this!

Quote
According to  Nigel Green,  CEO one of the world’s leading independent financial advisory organisations DeVere,  U.S. election will boost the price of bitcoin. “Bitcoin is already one of the best-performing assets of the year, up around 70% year-to-date,” And “We can expect the world’s largest cryptocurrency to be further fuelled for the rest of 2020 by the U.S. presidential election and the weakness of the U.S. dollar, which will serve as high-octane price drivers.”

I don't see that happening! A good percentage of American still believe that Trump's hatemongering will make their nation great again. So if Trump wins, mostly educated class people might want to jump into alternative assets like crypto or Gold or Silver just for capital protection. In that case, we may see some additional liquidity in the market which may drive the price higher. But if Joe Biden wins, Americans will hope that he will bring reformations to take the economy back on track. In that case, these additional liquidity may not flow into the crypto market. But whatever happens, it will be miniscule compared to the size of cryptocurrency market which is most unlikely to make a lasting impact.

Well probably reason is, because it is, people from allover the world want to go to America.
People from all the world, send the American company's billions of dollars each week

hi Intrepidity, the issue you encountered is an edge case - it only occurs where a new bet's stake/liability exceeds the funds left in the user's account. We do not believe this feature will significantly affect liquidity in any way (although we do not underestimate the general challenge of building liquidity on Exbet). But we appreciate you bringing this up and will take it back to our dev team for review. Thanks!

i see what you are saying, but have you thought of this scenario?

A punter pre match has a backof 1 @ odds of 4, this is his total account balnce so his balance now is 0

with 5 mins to go his team is winning and he wants to trade his bet so he wins whatever the result.

On what you are saying he will not be able too. when the equaliser arrives you will have a disgruntled punter.

Not knocking your site, think you have done a great job, but this is serious flaw.

I can see no reason why someone would intentionally programme this way.
All It will result in is 10x less liquidity.

Without liquidity the exchange as no chance of success.

this should be easy to resolve
1 punter can post list of deposits
2 cloudbet can post list of withdrawals

either can then dispute any transaction

When all transactions are agreed, then if punter as lost then under cloudbet terms punter is reimbursed
if punter has won then accusation against cloudbet is dismissed. No more going round in circles
