What do you look out for before using a crypto exchange platform?
by
Luchnix
on 03/08/2025, 15:33:27 UTC
The major slackers in the web3 space is the security and which is a key part in the space. Now before investing this are few things I look out for.

User based app; checking if the platform has a user friendly interface is a must because this makes the day to day transaction processes more easier and efficient

Security standards; I think this is the major checks before investing with any CEX platform as a user. Usually it’s better to check out for the hack history and prior security bridges.

There are a lot of measures to put in place but this few has helped me.
The 2025 July 31st Financefeed awards just ended awarding some reputable exchanges with the crypto exchange platforms of the year’. I’m still trying to figure out the exchange with this award; there should be a unique tag to this exchange.

What else do you think makes some tier 1 exchanges different from other CEX?

I remember seeing an intending purchase of a player with crypto, seeing the adoption of crypto so far in sports, maybe this will be an easier mode of transaction.

But on a second thought, i really don’t like the sports space to become decentralized in such a way that isn’t traceable. I think the centralized environment for the athletes space is helping with reducing risk of fraud and corruption.
Just imagine the transfer of $1,000,000,000 for the use of a racing stadium gets hacked or sent to the wrong wallet address…

But even at that, I’m not a 100% out with the opinion that it should not have a collaboration with the crypto and web3 companies and platforms.
I see the MotoGP collaboration with some CEX platforms and I guess this partnership might bring more initiatives to the two spaces. Though I doubt this can go further after here?

What are you doubting? They've been high profile collab between Cex and sports platform over players over the years. Binance has Ronaldo, THE GOAT 😎, Bitget has Messi, and I see they made a new partnership with MotoGP for selected grand prix event in 2025

https://x.com/bitgetglobal/status/1936461943310606529?t=SXjneWn99YD5Jt8589f6Kw&s=19. I believe it'll only get better and there'll be more synchrony within these two sectors in he future .

Yea I see now, and bitget partnership with this racing company will bring about more community and initiatives too

Re: What do you think of this car company going web3?
by

All of you might recognize this car company, Delorean, or shall I say the car from Back to the future movie?

Now I see they are exploring web3, the project is built on Sui Network, the initiative merges automotive legacy with digital innovation by introducing NFTs tied to future vehicle access and a utility token called $DMC. I know NFT hype died a long time ago, but I think this is good one considering they have Build Slot NFTs, which reserves you for the upcoming Alpha 5 electric vehicle.

Besides their token, DMC offers potential real world utility like future vehicle purchases, access to rewards, and exclusive brand collaborations. Maybe who knows you can even buy one of their vehicles using the token, which is good for crypto as you can buy TESLA with bitcoin afaik. Although the token launches on 24th June, with listings and currently ongoing launchpool on bitget.

What do you guys think of this initiative project by the Delorean? Do you think the growth will be massive since they are into crypto??
It’s very obvious that the future of technologies lies in the web3 community, and so to that fact, intelligent inventors are now preying into to take their spot.

For Delorean being in the Web3 space having her own Utility token, it’s  a smart move for me, because in the nearest future crypto will supersede the use of the traditional means of payment.

Just recently there has been a partnership between bitget and MotoGP; showing her support to the racing sports community.

Yea so I see bitget listing this token too with other deposits and staking to earn initiatives, which will follow suits; showing her continuing kin adoption of this car company.

I’m kinda skeptical about this for now, so if I would buy some bags, I should have a long term plan with my investment on bitget

If at all i would try, where do I start from and do you think the token can be trusted?
You can trust meme tokens like you are sure to win a round, obviously people do not just expect reasonable returns, but many times more like casino games. This type of token is purely based on community speculation, a fairly effective tool for rotating wealth among them. There are special tips for you to last longer playing with this sector. No one is really committed, they win, they move on to the next game table.

Oh ok, I got that information right from you, expect it👌

For crypto tokens in general the strength of the utility and community around them are key metrics for predicting their memecoin success.

It might just be my opinion but this phenomenon is being exhibited by the Buildon token ($B) right now. With its initiative of forstering usd1 stable coin adoption on DeFi platforms like pancake it was no surprise it faired so well on the Bitget onchain and is now trading on Bitget spot.

The utility may be good but without the Binance community cheering it on, it would not have pulled this off.

So i would start my evaluation of these from the utility and their community's commitment to the memes success.
Oh well, this token even after being listed on the bitget spot trade, price has still maintained a bullish trend, I will support what you said about the binance listing that helped in triggering the price. I will say both CEX had a major impact on the token—I’m expecting price to retrace before we can see another ATH.

Most memecoin traders are often hungry users that wants the quick and out money in this space. And to that fact, I don’t think actual traders should spend much time in the Meme ecosystem.
I know that some traders do trade in the memecoin ecosystem. Though I think they trade more with the well known memecoins since traders are often looking for high liquidity and you can't have that with a lot of memecoins these days.

It is your decision to make. I assume that trading with well known cryptocurrencies would be pretty similar with a few adjustments when it comes to memecoins. So, if you have been trading already just apply what you know already. I think it will take some experience to really figure it out.
Uhmmmm ok—I will consciously apply my strategies and if it works then fine

When Liquidity Pumps, Who eats big?
by
Luchnix
on 24/05/2025, 11:23:02 UTC
When I got into trading, I often asked, when I make loses, where’s my money or lost assets going to hahaha. But that’s an obvious question we should know as we progress in the crypto space.

Recently, we’ve being having liquidity pumps and blue candles all over the space with the intriguing $BTC and $ETH surge in price in the past few days.

Investing here wasn’t a fear for me because I know that when liquidity pumps, it’s a win-win ratio for both dev and users, but sadly you have to keep a watch on the screen on a steady to catch this pumps as an ordinary investors or trader.

If I have the power to move the market with a strong capital, I’ve some tokens on the list which I think is doing well and needs to have the exposure.

Do you know that there are tokens with better use cases and community still under $1? Let me know what you think about some great and well doing tokens that has been shadowed by the big guys?

Though now, there has been an integration of memecoins being traded on a CEX platform now and most of the spotted tokens did well like $RFC and $HOUSE.

Following that thread, a follow trader invited me to dinner and talked about $B ( BUILDon), with an obvious increase in price because of the massive trading amount from the onchain listing, price is bullish though but I don’t trade this tokens because of their short term value in the crypto space.

Why bullish on LayerEdge Airdrop?
by

Seeing the $EDGEN tokenomics with a 100% token unlocked for TGE is a take home for me, only to see that it’s only for the community airdrop which was allocated 45% for the community.

This is a good share if you asked me. But let this hype not fade this token like Pi network because investors are in here already.

Are you bullish on this community? And why?

BTC declining, altcoins broadly down.

Currently, the price of bitcoin shows a slight decrease in price and one may ask, is this the right time to buy in?. for the dominance of BTC in the crypto space, investing in bitcoin hasn't being a debate for me. price will still do more long in just a few weeks from now.

It'd be great if trading competition is based on ROI instead of trading volume because we all know who gonna win so it's kinda a massive waste of time.
But we also know that exchange won't benefit from the trading fee if that were the case.

Honestly, I just not interested in trading competition anymore. Fortunately, so many exchange reward trading new coins these days so I prefer that.
Like seriously, their are CEX competitions that are not worth participating in—checking out this Bitget diamond Thursday trading event—airdrops worth $s are also rewarded—that’s was my catch

Most of the trading competition are based on trading volume, which instantly discourages or kicks out retail traders. Imagine you, with an account of $2,000 competing with someone whose account is worth $1,000,000. You wouldn't stand a chance.
This is right, a trader that has a deeper pocket will easily beat you even if you are the best trader that's chasing the cash prize for that competition.

I feel it’s more better trading solo.
It is better because you'll not bother yourself thinking about any competition at all. All you need to do is to win those trades and make all of those gains. No chasing, just pure profiting and winning your trades.
Yea I also loved solo trading—but the good part here is while we strive for the trading volume, we receive trending airdrops that most times if we were to buy would be maybe equal to 1/3 of our portfolio amount

I wish to know if there are any other trading competitions with good number of participants so maybe I check them out?

These trading competitions is profitable, but sometimes it is not always transparent. You can win and be denied your rewards by displaying you or so on because CEXs cannot be trusted because manipulation is possible.
That is so true, manipulation is something that a CEX can’t do without and that’s why I use some reputable CEX platforms like bitget without some history of such obvious problems. Someone even recommended me to their trading event and the good thing here is that, retail traders has a big chance of winning due to their trading conditions

The exchanges also put in other extra requisites like number of referrals, competitions specifically for new registrants or first deposits

I prefer competitions where winners are picked based on percentage ROI.

Almost of exchanges run trading competitions from week to week, month to months, you just have to keep checking up the announcements.

That’s right, the requirements are much must times—though I’ve seen this Diamond Thursday trading event as worthy of participating—like I’ve been consciously following up this event as it’s on weekly basis—maybe if it plays out fine I will revert back on here too to check out others

I’ve participated in many CEX trading competitions and all runs down to you achieving a particular or specific trading volumes, which most times knocked many participants who did good gains out.

I feel it’s more better trading solo. But again while trading solo is just fixed on gains within your skills and volume accumulation; trading competitions rewards with an extra bonus for trading your tokens and accumulating volume. So it’s like a win-win game here.
Just like the daimond Thursday weekly trading competitions, millions of USDt rewards has been given out to qualified winners.
Though most times, trading rules varies from one CEX to the other which is so discouraging.

I wish to know if there are any other trading competitions with good number of participants so maybe I check them out?

In speaking about trading competitions then the most common rule on here is about trading volume on which this do shows that to those who do have that bigger amount or trading capital
are the ones who do have this kind of advantage since they can generate that huge volume since they are financially capable. For us those plebs who do make out some trades with
small capital wont be having that chance on getting eligible on getting up some rewards. Despite of this condition, its not bad to make yourself that getting involved with competitions on which
you do see this to be a challenge for you to improve yourself way more better in terms of enhancing your trading skills.
Thanks, I see the part here—improving on skill I see

How do borrowing work in the DeFi ecosystem?
by
Luchnix
on 07/05/2025, 13:57:36 UTC
DeFi communities has always been one of the space I want to get access to, but maybe work and other engagements got me glued.

I often wondered how borrowing work, seeing that BTC holders has been integrated into the DeFi ecosystem, how’s the protocol?

Now that $SYRUP which is a project with DeFi enthusiasts who put’s transparency, capital efficiency, and access to high-yield credit markets as a priority, has been launched, this might be a good opportunity to get started with it’s community. And maybe this might just be my first investment in the DeFi space on the listing on the 8th/05.

How do I go about this?

Re: Memecoin still stands as the best crypto investment. I.M.O
by
Luchnix
on 02/05/2025, 20:21:52 UTC
Memecoins can make you millions of dollars in just a glimpse but the difficult part here is, where? How and when should I invest and not get my investment pulled?.
Ponzi schemes can also make you millions of dollars overnight as well. The point is, at which cost? And the answer is, at the cost of losing your entire investment overnight... Does it worth the risk? Of course not. People lose funds they took an entire life to accumulate in a matter of days or weeks. It leads people into depression, hopelessness and lack of motivation to move ahead and to recover themselves financially.

Consequences can be disastrous. Therefore, such plans should be avoided, unless you are aware to be gambling with your money, and not investing.
Yea sir and that’s why I take risk management as a priority not letting the market tease me and win me— and also using some reliable onchain products and tools too has helped me stay away from rugpull projects like the bitget onchain which filters off the dust amongst other
