Re: 2024 PBA Governor's Cup

Seriously, I just learned of it right now lol while browsing betting options at ArenaPlus.

Is that a local bookie? And how about the game resolution, can you actually view it in full screen?

BTW, I'm subscribed to pilipinaslive.com, but I'm still interested to know though.

One of the popular local bookies, since it's affiliated with BingoPlus.

You can access it directly at their website, arenaplus.net, or through GCASH (Glife) and MAYA (Games) app.

Yes, full screen. Tested first on my mobile and shifted to my desktop.

No commercial break. We can see the activity there even during timeout. Cheesy

Good to know, I haven’t tried that bookie yet either. I actually thought it wasn’t connected to a GCash app. Right now I’m using SportsPlus, but since you shared this, I might give it a try and see which one offers better odds, no harm in testing both and sticking with the one that gives more value.

But wait... seems like the site is not accessible now,.. im using a deskstop browser, i can only see the smiley.
BTW, my internet connection is globe.

Re: 2025 NBA Season
by

on 25/07/2025, 12:06:33 UTC
High draft picks always get their playing time, especially when they are considered a "generational talent".

Overall, yes, players selected with the first picks in the draft typically receive a lot of minutes in their debut season, but that's not always the case. Take, for example, Kwame Brown, Anthony Bennett, and Markelle Fultz, who were selected with the first draft picks, but in their debut season, they got few minutes and their performances were very poor, which isn't typical for players selected with the first pick in the draft.
It really depends on performance. Maybe they’ll give the player around 5 games to see how effective he is, but if he’s not playing up to expectations, the team won’t force it, even a first pick can end up getting limited minutes. you know, basketball is a team sport, and what matters most is winning. Teams can’t afford to keep giving minutes to someone who isn’t contributing, regardless of draft status. It’s still a gamble when these players enter the NBA, since it’s a whole different level compared to the NCAA or whatever league they came from. But to be fair, most first picks have generally lived up to expectations.

Re: No Amount is Affordable in Gambling

That's the goal for sure, but that shouldn't be the takeaway. I usually tell someone don't use 80% of your monthly salary for trading, I'm sure it applies here too.
Better. It's easy to say "I only gamble what I can afford to lose," but if you don’t actually set a clear limit or understand your own financial boundaries, you’ll end up chasing losses out of emotion,  and that’s when things get dangerous. I've been there too, and it's not just about losing money, it affects your mindset and sometimes even your relationships. Discipline and self-awareness are way more important than just saying the right lines tbh.

You almost gave me a heart attack opening my Telegram notifier and seeing this post.. I really thought it was real! But when I checked the price, we’re still at $116k. I think this thread belongs under speculation. I get that you’re bullish (which we like), but, just a heads up .. posts like this might shock people a bit too much.  Grin

Please, I need a resourceful link or materials to help me learn more about Bitcoin investment.
Honestly, even if you have those links and resources on hand but you are not often active on the forum, still you won’t maximize your learning potentials with bitcoin. Know the fact that this forum alone is a reliable source if you want basic knowledge about bitcoin, so always keep the diligence to stay active in the forum every day.

Furthermore, if you want to increase your insights about bitcoin, then DYOR. There is no end to bitcoin learning, whether your inside or outside the forum context.

Re: Should I depend solely on Bitcoin?

No matter how profitable you are with bitcoin right now, there is no guarantee that it will remain the same in the next months, years, or decade. So always invest at your own risk. Invest on an amount you are comfortable of losing. And when you have established your bitcoin investment, then start to diversify and invest on other assets that you think you have higher potentials to progress later on.

Bitcoin is much in demand right now, but never forget that changes are inevitable. Apply good risk management instead.

Nag warning pala talaga ang government, pero ayaw makinig ng mga vloggers.

“They Gambled With the Law”
The influencers, he said, were given ample time to correct their actions but chose not to do so.

“They had more than enough time to comply. They gambled with the law, and now they’re facing the consequences,” he said.

Both the CICC and Digital Pinoys stressed that the campaign against illegal gambling content is far from over, and more names will likely be removed from Facebook in the coming weeks.

Re: Which is more regrettable?

Whatever we think is the right strategy, we just follow it, though strategy doesn’t really matter in lottery since it’s all about luck.

But just so we don’t end up regretting anything, it makes sense to stick with a certain combination and keep playing it until you win. ‘Cause if you do hit the jackpot, that’s it.. your journey basically ends there. One win is already life-changing.

Most lottery winners don’t even care about gambling after that. They get too busy figuring out how to spend or manage their winnings.

Re: Why some countries gamble more than the others?
by

on 22/07/2025, 13:17:43 UTC
Number 1 doesn’t really seem like a big deal, to be honest. Most reputable casinos won’t scam their players, 'cause one scam and their whole business could go down. So I think reason number 2 makes more sense.

when people earn more, they tend to gamble more, which leads to higher gambling revenue, that’s real growth for the industry, and it’s not necessarily hurting anyone since most people gamble just for fun or entertainment anyway.

by

Whoever's on the KYC, that's the person the casino sees as the one playing. And since we’re talking about a big win here, of course I’d allow my KYC to be used if it’s my own kid. That’s money to enjoy.

There’s nothing wrong with doing KYC as long as the casino is legit and can keep your info safe.
And man, if it’s a big win, no one’s gonna say no to that, right?

With the current series lead it is impossible for the TNT to came back, although SMB did it to them when they are leading 3-1 in the series, but this is a different story since junmar is unable to be contain and other key players and veterans are proving why they are starting and deserve playing time, even Brundial showing that he is not just a substitute player, I feel bad for TNT since this is the second time they are attempting for a grand slam and again they are being stop by the same team.
Have anyone notice Chua in sam miguel now? although he oversea all the three teams.

Not gonna happen this time, SMB’s already the heavy favorite. Game 1 should’ve been a win too, and this series could’ve been a sweep already. I’ve lost hope for TNT at this point. They’re a solid team, yeah, but missing key players is really hurting them. If TNT wants to win the next game, their outside shooting needs to be on point. They have to keep a high shooting percentage, 'cause there's no way they're getting through SMB’s paint defense.

Re: Chances to buy Bitcoin back

The market will always be influenced by market news and hypes, so expect that there will always be price corrections every now and then. But the problem is, no one knows when it’s going to happen. What we have are just predictions and speculations on this volatile and unpredictable market.

Now, if you have been profiting already and is planning to sell off your coins to buy more coins when the price turns cheap, then go on. I believe you know your decision well. But if I were you, since we are here for long term investment and expect for huge returns one day, then I’ll just continue hodling regardless of its current price. Although you can take time in selling a portion of your bitcoin to gain profits, but never decide to sell off your coins. You are already riding the trend with bitcoin, don’t go down and start all over again.

Re: Yet Another Scam Attempt, Impersonating Users on Telegram

It’s so popular now, that’s why scammers are using it as their target market. But honestly, a lot of these scams can be avoided if people just have the right knowledge.

And the fact that we’re part of this forum, where scam accusations get posted from time to time, we already know how risky it is to not be informed in the crypto space. According to reports, Telegram had 1 billion active users as of March 2025. Just imagine how massive that market is for scammers to take advantage of.

Tough loss for Ka Tropa! Jericho Cruz exploded especially in 3-pointers.
Who saw that walkout from Coach Chot Reyes? That was really unprofessional for me, he is really disappointed.

He probably can’t accept this loss, especially since according to the announcer, Coach Chot has never lost 3 straight games in the finals before, and now it finally happened.

After the game, there were also reports going around that Coach Jojo Lastimosa wasn’t happy with how Jericho Cruz acted in the game. But honestly, fans don’t seem to care. They like Cruz because of his swag and confidence on the court.

I recently hit a crazy multiplier x5601 on Sweet Bonanza. Just a small bonus buy and ended up winning $400 after the x1000 bomb dropped and hit. I’ve been enjoying it since then, though I don’t spend a lot of hours playing.

But ever since that win, it kinda feels like I’m slowly giving the money back. Been losing around $10 a day for the past week. I’m still in profit, but honestly, I’m starting to lose the excitement. The game doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Re: The rich buys wealth while the poor buys liability
by
Sanitough
on 20/07/2025, 23:39:13 UTC
Yes, that's the difference in the actions or thoughts of rich and poor people when they have money, you've explained everything OP and the trigger lies in a different mindset, I'm sure education and environment influence it, rich people have better education about money which makes them know how to manage money and spend it properly, rich people use money as a tool to achieve goals by using it for something that can grow, while poor people use money as a goal in itself such as to buy everything they want without thinking whether it can provide a return or not.

Basically, education and understanding given by parents can indeed cause significant differences in thinking and perspectives on money for a child, but there are also people who grow up in poor environments who can become rich, usually they are people who dare to get out of their comfort zone, dare to take risks and build many relationships, sometimes hanging out with rich people is important.
It only shows that poor people should not limit their socialization only for the poor only, but they have to set higher goals as well and mingle with rich people too, not only to gain influence, but also to imitate how these rich people are dealing in their successful lives.

That way, the poor will have a shift of mindset and interest. And the good thing is, they already have seen the future result if they will follow that, that they can also get rich in the future, as long as they have also the potentials to succeed on whatever their goal is.
