lol, are you kidding us? 1st time at 19 GMT, after at 20, now at 21... Maybe you haven't already premined too much coins?

Premine still all on first block, don't worry ! We have do a very intensive solo mining for check that all working fine, and during this wallet as crashed very many times. We still to work for fix this issue before launch.

Maybe it will better to resubmit the launch date. Still in touch !

I'm sorry, but that gives no explanation of what you intend to do with the pre-mine coins.
all that shows is that you are passive-aggresive in character; my questions remain, why should I trust you with 1% of this coin? What are you going to use it for?

You are a crazy guy. Maybe you forgotten your posts in the old thread. I'm aggressive for a troll like you only, I'm boring to see your nickname in this thread.

Too much premine, 13 years for recovering the gap is an insanely high amount of time. Let's say that your coin isn't dump resistant Cheesy

All coin's devs take 1% of premine, what change here ? If you have a good matemathic mind you will see that 1% of one bilion and 1% of one thousand, for example, it's the same thing.

BTC

not true, I invest in good solid, trustworthy coins and have a range of wallets on my computers.
You are feeding on those less knowledgable. I will be pleased to balance the conversation so that people know exactly what they are buying into.

a 1% premine is not a good thing, and you should explain what it will be used for, in detail.

right, many take BTC with IPO before, and something after IPO take premine too.

I've see many no-premined coins die because dev gone after little time. I don't want to gone and I don't want to dump. If people trust will trust in this coin, it will be a big project for a long time.

And if you are a smart guy, you will understand it. If not pity for you.

Sorry if I sounded like trolling, I didn't meant to offend you, usually it's not my style.
I'm curious to see the implementation of your vision.
Just wasn't clear how you can accomplish to goal of this coin. It sounds like you are trying to introduce another factor to limit the block rate which originally the difficulty re-targeting was designed for. The question is how you'll be able to decide which node will get less or more coins, if it's not based on hash rate. Each node can submit a limited number of block? In this case one can install hundreds of nodes load balancing a  big ASIC miner between them. It's true that it's harder but the network still can be exploited by powerful miners.

Sorry you too, not simple in this jungle to understand who want to troll only and who ask serious questions.

No it's not node limits. At first many big Asics (standalone version) don't work in getwork. They work only on stratum protocol. This Asics will not able to mine SevenCoin. Another limit it's with the timewall. No blocks will be accepted before timespan. It means that all nodes have time for sync correctly, malicious people cannot fork the network and it give the opportunity to slow ASICs to find a block. The diff fixed at 1 guarantees only that this last word will true.

Nice joke.  Smiley
If you don't have difficulty re-target then how can you keep the block time on 7 Minutes? With difficulty 1 a fast ASIC miner will find all the block in no time and all depends on how fast it can push it to the wallet daemon and how fast it can push out to the network. Let's say this coin will have an exchange and will have some real value. Just imagine hundreds of nodes in the network pushing out blocks at a rate of 10-100/s. I think multiple forks will be inevitable at this rate.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy all specialist here. I'm  very much lucky.

Why you talk before see the code ? I already told that we have set a special firewall that will reject fast blocks. This feature give a resistant for big asics and for every fork attemps.

Also the diff at 1 give the same opportunity to every, fast and slow asics

Insta-mined garbage in search of bigger fools. A simple copy clone with ZERO innovation is NOT rare. Any other unoriginal coin EXACTLY like it with however many coins you wish can be created in a matter of hours by ANYONE including the 'dev' once he moves on to his next scam.

Who tell that this coin don't have innovations ? Or you want to mean that innovations can be only in the algo ? This coin is pools and big asics resistant, with a fix retarget and a firewall for block the instamining. Never see like this before.

Can I ask you what is your job in RL ?

How to Mine ?

You have to add a simple .conf file to your wallet and point your asic on your local IP, like this :

Code:
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
server=1
gen=0

Code:
bfgminer (or cgminer) -o http://127.0.0.1:7777 -u username -p password [ASIC Confs] or [GPU Confs] or [CPU Confs]

I'm sorry guys, Yesterday I've crash my car and goin to the hospital. Nothing bad, but check myself, talk with police and more and I've lost all day.

I move the lunch on monday 16/06 at 19 GMT.

  • The idea of pool resistance due to indivisible block rewards is novel, I'll give you that one.
  • The rarity isn't really there, 42 coin did something similar in that regard.  Technically there will be 700 million 'coins'.
  • No TX fees allows people to DDoS the chain with spam, even a 1 satoshi fee would prevent that but it's tough when that's a whole block reward.
  • Where's the wallet??

1. thank you

2. it's true. but if you calc like this, you have to do it for all coins too. Bitcoin is 21Milions * 10 Milions of satoshis (Totally 210Milions of coins)

3. true, but who will spam the network with a full block reward ? We will see how much value will be one sat of SevenCoin. I'm sure people will like more to hold this then use for spam.

monday 16/06 at 21 GMT. Sorry

Block rewards are indivisible.

So are the transactions presumably?

So if there is 1% of premine.. will one block contain 0.93 of a coin? or will this be 7.07 coins Tongue

You have little and confused ideas Smiley the block reward is indivisible because it's of one satoshi.

Again.. so how do you get 1% premine?

I will get it from the totally amount.  Grin

TerraHash 1.6TH don't work.

they would work; if the owner was to set up, a private pool.

you will find, that this may happen at your launch, you won't be able to avoid it, i'm afraid - and your coin will be forked before you can say 'confirmed block'. Anything that you can solo mine to a wallet, you can set up a pool for.

here's a hypothesis for you;

big garage full of 1TH/s dragon miners and a geek with far too much time on his hands; installs a private pool on DO and compiles the wallet on launch. 20 minutes later, he hooks up his 20 x 1TH/s dragons and plunders your 1seventoshi blocks until he has mined enough to give him a jolly good laugh. Then he switches to failover, for 5 mins, then pushes his rigs back onto your coin, via his private pool.

coin forks to his node;

this is called: The Point of No Return.

I hope that you really have got some protection for all the little miners who intend to be part of this because to me, as I see it, nothing is foolproof and specifying a 1seventoshi block reward, does nothing to stop the above scenario.

Interesting coin, time to dust off my jalapeno.
Can i ask you to provide a list of compatible solo asic miners?

I don't have a list, but I'm sure that all 55nm Asic chips working. Your jalapeno it's 55nm and will work fine.

I've try some USB Asics, like ANTMiner single, and working fine. KNC Jupiter work at around 70 GH/s. TerraHash 1.6TH don't work.

Interesting concept, however with the little info provided here, I don't see:
-how you plan to make it pool resistant (why wouldn't they be able to spread the reward?),
-what stops someone with a 1THs asic from mining this... I don't see why it wouldn't work in http...

- SevenCoin it's pool resistant because the block reward it's one satoshi. They cannot pay shares and they cannot earn nothing if they will pay who find the block, because satoshi is the most little amount, and I've remove all tx fees.

- Try to config a big ASIC for work in SOLO with getwork protocol and you will see that don't work, or you lost 90% of your hash power. It is, they work fine only with stratum protocol.

so.... a totally pointless coin  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You are an old user with big reputation and a devel of a cool miner software. I don't understand why you start to troll in my thread. If your miner are not able to mine my coin, it's not my problem.

disappointing. my miner doesn't like solo mining. not only are you limiting the number of coins, you are also limiting the number of miners able to mine this.
This needs a pool or two.

It's a good opportunity for improve your work !  Smiley
