120 million euros is a truly huge sum of money. I don't think it makes sense for this player to be valued that much. He may be the team's star player, but if a player is worth over 100 million, I think he should be capable of much greater things. I don't think he'll be a good player statistically.

I agree with you and I think Arsenal will have a very tough fight. Not only with Liverpool, but also with City! Just because Pep's team didn't absolutely dominate one season, everyone now thinks their dominant days are over. Ich persönlich habe mittlerweile zuviele Jahre auf dem Rücken und bei jedem Bullenmarkt habe ich das Gefühl gehabt, dass es keine richtige Bärenphase mehr geben würde und dieses Gefühl habe ich auch jetzt. They now have some very strong players who could certainly play for a team in the PL. In defence Sanchez, in midfield Torreira, Lemina and Sara and up front Osimhen, Icardi, Morata, Zaniolo or Sane who can all play at a very high level.

I think Pep is one of the best coaches and even if I can't understand why he's letting Ederson go, he'll have a good reason for it. Can James Trafford replace Ederson? I don't think so, but Pep will certainly prove us right.
Ekitike probably cost Liverpool for €95m. That's a lot of money. Also you said that he's cheaper than Isaak, but i'd consider him riskier bet than Isaak. There's only 25m gap between his price and Isaak. I'd go for Isaak 120m rather than him, but sadly Newcastle would never sell him.
Some transfers require risk, and risk can lead to the trophy you desire. Liverpool took a risk considering the cost of this transfer, but if it works out the way they want, no one will remember the transfer fee. I think major clubs should make similar transfers and bring in surprise players.
I have exactly the same concerns, because they really paid a lot and he is inexperienced in the PL. So I don't know if the burden on his shoulders won't be too heavy for him.

A good transfer but very expensive in my opinion, because Ekitike has been a good player in the Bundesliga but will he manage to play as well in the Premier League? He wasn't a player in the Bundesliga where you could say he absolutely dominated. That's why this is a gamble by Liverpool, but the player is young and has a lot of potential.
I don't think we need to talk about Osimhen transfer fee, €70-€75 million is still reasonable for this player and did you know that Napoli spent €78 million to bring in Osimhen from Lille so if Napoli let him go for €75 million that's normal even though they lost around 3 million. Speculation about Osimhen move continues and there has been no official announcement, we hear Napoli are close to reaching an agreement with Galatasaray but it seems there are still obstacles related to the installment payment process.
In general, I think the transfer sums are insanely high and no player is worth that much, but if you accept these sums, 75 million for one of the best strikers is certainly not too much. I also think that the value is okay in relation to other players and their value. But I don't think there are many clubs willing to pay such a high sum. Even if the player is worth that much, it's worthless if nobody wants to buy him for that price.
I told people that Xabi Alonso hasn't coach a big team which will make it somehow difficult for him at Real Madrid before he gets accustomed to their style of play. Bayern Leverkusen was not a big team before Xabi Alonso brought them to limelight. In Real Madrid, it seems every work that Xabi Alonso needed to do has already be done since the team comprises of quality players but in Bayern Leverkusen, he built and grounded the players. If Osimhen were to be sold for €75m he would be one of the top 50 most expensive sales ever and that's not something you see every day. In the 24/25 season there were perhaps only a few players who were sold for such high sums, I think there were certainly no more than 3-4 players! So selling Osimhen for that price won't be that easy.

In contrast to the Premier League, the german Bundesliga is easier for Ten Hag and a top 5 finish should definitely be possible. But if he also fails at Leverkusen, it will be clear to everyone that Ten Hag is not a good coach. I was about to ask if you really believe this but they are so crazy over there that it could really be that they could pay >300 million for a player. Is Vini Jr. worth that amount? No way, but I'm sure the Saudis want him.
If I were Real, I wouldn't think twice about that amount and sell immediately, regardless of which player they want. In my opinion, Vini in particular is expendable and easy to replace. There was CR7 before him and if you could replace a prime CR7, you can replace Vini 100 times over.

Yep, die sonst übliche manische Phase ist bis jetzt noch nicht wirklich eingetreten was mich angesichts des derzeitigen Preisniveaus sehr, sehr bullish stimmt.
Generell sind aber die meisten hier im Forum noch nach wie vor sehr bullisch eingestellt und wenn ich dann soetwas wie von @HeRrtiK und @MinoRaiola lese bin ich noch aufgeregter. Ich hoffe, dass wir nicht alle gemeinsam in eine Falle laufen aber selbst wenn halten wir alle solidarisch zusammen
Es wirkt für mich aktuell vom Kursverlauf so, dass momentan einige verkaufen aber die Käuferseite ist offensichtlich stärker und hält den Verkauf gut auf. Wenn ich mit dem also Recht haben sollte, werden wir demnächst noch höhere Kurse sehen. Irgendwer hat es bereits erwähnt: Es fehlen bei diesem Run die +10% Sprünge die beim aktuellen Kurs für satte 13k+ an einem Tag sorgen könnten. Wird das noch kommen?
