There really are zero fees! Zeex does not exist to make money - it is simply a protocol, to help the economy to thrive and flourish. That's really a noble cause and it would be great to have such a protocol flourish. I think people are just wondering what's the profit here for the team.
Maybe team will be able to get gift cards in bulks at lower prices?Something like that.
What do you mean in bulk? like 10 cards for 10 $ for one retailer?
it is possible that Zeex as platform will redeem a certain number of gift cards at a slightly lower value and then sell them for face value...
Nope! Zeex is decentralised - as such, gift card distributors/brands themselves will decide the discount levels to list their gift cards, and that is exactly what the consumers will have available to them. Zeex is simply the protocol, not the middle man taking a cut!

Does anybody know who cannot participate in the crowdsale?
Residents, citizens or registered persons from the USA, China, South Korea and Israel are will unfortunately not be able to participate in the public sale. I really like projects that have already a use case and past history and this looks like one of them. I want to try to invest a little here if possible but I feel that there will be stiff competition in the ICO. I like the way the customers don't have to fit the bill but it makes its profit through the retailers which give more leeway to customers and more chance of adoption as well.

I am not sure I understand the business model fully. The 0 fee attached to the card appeal to the consumer, but how is Zeek going to make money and sustain the business? Ultimately the success of Zeek will ensure good ROI to investors. Maybe I missed something
Great question!Firstly, I just want to make clear that Zeek is a sister company of Zeex, and while Zeek has been very helpful to Zeex, we are completely separate companies. Zeek will be one of the many suppliers providing gift cards to the Zeex protocol. Now, on to what I think is your main question, about Zeex making money: Basically, Zeex doesn't earn or use revenues from retailers. First and foremost, we are building a protocol. Zeex as a business is a minor detail in the story and it's only purpose is to make the economy thrive and flourish. Zeex will provide financial services to suppliers such as fiat-to-crypto exchange, crypto hedging, fiat loans and consumer marketing services. Can US and CN citizens participate in the zeex ico? I read the faq but didn't find anything about it.

Great question! Zeex is actually a protocol, so it doesn't look at profit the same way as most businesses - the aim is not to make money, but to make a scalable and robust economy for all. Wow 4eth is quite big for a minimum investment and seemingly team will try to catch big fish. And I think team won't get disappointed by this as many really awaits for this sale.
