Koske a new Linux crypto miner using Panda images

A new Linux crypto miner was recently discovered by security analyst and they called it Koske. And as a crypto miner, it's obvious point of attack is to deploy CPU and GPU cryptocurrency miners that will take the host computational power and mined 18 coins. And what's dangerous is that they are using Panda images and hiding the malware inside, using shell script and C language. And it has been attributed to the Serbs as the code itself include Serbian phrases in the scripts.

https://www.aquasec.com/blog/ai-generated-malware-in-panda-image-hides-persistent-linux-threat/

And again, we have seen a very intricate ways of this cyber criminals to trap us and then harness our hardware. They even have evasive capabilities as well, then can go and loop to check which crypto to mine.

Quote
Auto-switching: If a coin or pool fails, it dynamically selects another from its list
Mining Targets: Includes Monero, Ravencoin, Zano, Nexa, Tari (GPU/CPU), and others

Also according to the report, this is AI powered malware, and maybe once they developed a new one, it could be more dangerous and sophisticated threat to us. And not just to crypto hijack, but to steal our crypto information.

What prize have you won there actually? You have said about the prize winning a few times in your post, and you believe that LuckyDiamond has blocked your account as you have won the prize. I doubt that you will get any response from them. Their representative isn't active here.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I win in Big Bass Bonanza Halloween and some other slot two good prizes in a short time, I'd deposited at least $400 in the last few days and wasn't winning anything, and when I finally won, well...
I wasn't a big fan of crypto casinos until recently. We learn from mistakes like this. The goal of this post is precisely to help people identify sites that pose risks. So far, I've only posted it on this forum and another well-known website. I'm going to post it wherever I see fit.

Thanks Mahdirakib, I will.
Best regards.
And hopefully this is going to be a very expensive lessons for you as well. But I do hope that your idea about crypto casinos are not tainted by this bad experience. There are still a lot of casinos here that has built their reputations throughout the years. And so with that, you might want to play with those casino and have a positive encounter. I might have a feeling though that maybe they wanted you to win earlier so that you will deposit more and then trap you. In any case, it's done already and for sure it has sink it to you that this casino will not going to pay you. Good to hear that you will spread the word out there so that there will be a chance that maybe someone has been thinking of playing in their casino but reading what you have endure and blatantly scamming you, then they will have to go to try other casinos.

As the questions says, when do you stop? your point of no return?

a. at least double your money, then stop
b. you only stop when you have lost all your bankroll money and then blame the casino?
c. or you are a superstitions gambler, when you have signs like losing 3 straight in a row, then you quit because you know that you're having a bad luck
d. you stop when you are at least break even

I didn't include chasing your losses as obviously you might to continue.

Welcome to the forum !!!

I just registered on your website using the ref code that @Little_Mouse had in the sig campaign thread. And from my first impression, it looks like it's well design and that it could compete on some top casinos right now.

Will try to explore the casino later though, but I already saw one of my favorite provider in Evolution with their arrays of roulette games.

And who would go back in the past when John McAfee (RIP) was the ultimate shill of Bitcoin even before Elon Musk became the poster boy for quite sometime. And yeah, he could be correct, as we touches $100k already and so the next big jump will be a million in the future.

The "Lottery Ticket" Mentality
by
Yaunfitda
on 24/07/2025, 05:08:01 UTC
As a gambler, have you ever felt this kind of mentality? That is, let's say in sports betting, wherein you bet on the long shot or a huge underdog but at the back of your mind, you thought that you will not win, but there is still small hope inside of you that this could be a life changing and so you go and bet with your close eyes. And this could be just you are relying on your luck and nothing more and that it could also be bad for us gamblers in the long run. But then again, we love to take risk and so maybe there will be some of us who might be already have this in mind as a kind of "strategy" and they could have won money already. Are you that type of gambler that has kind of mentality? It could be that is obviously flawed in the beginning so there could be gamblers that are now willing, or maybe as I have said, we might have been using it already but we just didn't know.

There are reports that there is this malware variant that is known to exploit Windows accessibility framework called UI Automation (UIA) to steal personal information, including bank and crypto exchanges itself.

It has been aptly name "Coyote" and as of the moment, according to the researchers, this malware variants targets Brazil. And as per definition,

Quote
Microsoft UI Automation is the new accessibility framework for Microsoft Windows, available on all operating systems that support Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).

UI Automation provides programmatic access to most user interface (UI) elements on the desktop, enabling assistive technology products such as screen readers to provide information about the UI to end users and to manipulate the UI by means other than standard input. UI Automation also allows automated test scripts to interact with the UI.

https://www.akamai.com/blog/security-research/active-exploitation-coyote-malware-first-ui-automation-abuse-in-the-wild

So for our Brazilian members here, just be careful out there, it's not just banking information that this criminals are taking from us. But it also includes crypto and there could be more as this malware will surely evolved and go global.

Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL!

If any pleb is selling his/her Bitcoin right now because "it's a good price", then let me tell you something. You're merely letting those billionaires win against you because you're giving away the only financial advantage you have against them - Your precious Bitcoin.

We have already front-ran them. Don't give them the opportunity to front-run YOU by selling now. Sell later, sell when it's in a seven figure price valuation, sell when Bitcoin has surged above Gold's total market value.

     👀

This would be a long wait time, but the wait would be really worth it, after all Bitcoin is slated to secure our financial future and how gracious and of great advantage it would be to us that we allow it serve it's full purpose by securing our future financially rather than settling for short-term gains.

Bitcoin is valuable no doubt, same reason the big players are bagging more and more of it to secure futuristic advantages. It would be beautiful as well that we as individuals moved in that direction to secure such advantage for ourselves by stacking more Bitcoin consistently to enlarge our portfolio instead of selling too soon and might end up  missing out on bigger profitability in the future.
Well if you have waited for this long to hold then why not waited for at least the end of the year? We will only have 6 months, give or take to conclude this bull run, so it's better to just continue what you are doing best by holding - accumulate as much as you can + HODL. And I guess for us here who have been in this game, have ignore the short term noise, specially during the bear market wherein we have seen the price at like < $60k and there are a a lot of memes that it is not sailing. But look at the price today, it has double already. Which means that the power of HODL is true and selling prematurely, even at a good price is seen as surrendering to institutional/billionaire dominance.

Re: 2025 NBA Season
by
Yaunfitda
on 11/07/2025, 23:34:25 UTC
Last night was the Mavericks-Lakers game at the NBA Summer League.
Many people wanted to compare Flagg and Bronny.
But what I don't understand is why they're comparing Bronny to Flagg.
Flagg is a superstar prospect, while Bronny is just an average player.

Here are the stats from last night's game:

Flagg: 10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals
Bronny: 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists
It's because of their names and fans wanted to see which one will be on top. And they guarded each one, there were highlights that Flagg was backing down on Bronny for a iso play and Bronny playing tough with his defense and then he was called for a foul. After that, Cooper got the ball again but he immediately goes for a turn around and make it. They are also talking during the game, not sure if there is trash talking between the two but obviously there is some communication and most likely the fans see this and so they make this comparison. Nevertheless, if we see the highlights of the game, it's more on Cooper had a dunk and overall had the better game between the two. At least the Mavs fans are over with Nico decision to trade Luka. Now, they have a exciting recruit and if he lives up to his name, he could be the Rookie of the Year and then help Dallas maybe into a good spot next season.

Re: What’s your take on Ethereum ecosystem ?
by
Yaunfitda
on 11/07/2025, 06:41:57 UTC
Do upgrades to the ecosystem really matter much when the fees are so high most people cannot affordably use ETH or any of the tokens?
Good question, for me, upgrade is not worth anything if investors are complaining of the high gas fees. And we all know that ETH developers says that they will have a lot of iterations in the pipeline way back 2019, and they said that they will resolved this issues on high gas fees. But moving forward, with many development and changing a lot, still though it's one of the biggest issues and we don't know if it will be solved or not. And most likely this is the reason why there are many investors who didn't put their money on ETH this cycle and would rather go on other projects like SOL or even BNB. And with that, the high fees might have killed ETH for now and unless they really resolved it, I don't think that we will see a big gains in their current price.

Re: Content creation
by
Yaunfitda
on 11/07/2025, 05:53:59 UTC
It's very much a new born pattern of making a living out of filming different things in hope of getting paid of the views and likes are impressive enough, but however this new industry is going to cause a lot of harm in our society in the nearest future as the younger generation as seen no value in any job is not to stream or make videos as professional jobs. It's probably going to cause laziness in future but however it's not going to last forever except those who are good are evolving, wherever the industry is heading they will be fast enough to cope those only will be good beneficiary's to the industry of content creation.
I think you didn't understand what content creation is. There could be channels that could be "faceless", yes you don't need to film yourself in order to make a lot of money from Youtube or any other platform. You just have to find videos around that you can used, or give credit to the original owners. If they don't like it then you can go and delete that video. Or with the advent of AI, you can create real like videos as well although there might be a crack down as well as Youtube is going to roll out a new policies in AI. Although they themselves owns one of the far more advance which is VEO-3. So I disagree as well when you said that it won't last forever, there are a lot of billions of people around the world that posted video. It's just how you demonstrate yourself to be unique so that they will be interested on your latest videos and again, every 10 seconds watch on your film will turn out to be $$$.

Re: [Boxing] Mario Barrios vs Manny Pacquiao WBC Welterweight Title - July 19
by
Yaunfitda
on 11/07/2025, 05:08:10 UTC
@Yaunfitda. Pacman's advantage has always been his speed. This will very much depend on how steong are his knees. If he can maintain the strength of his knees for 12 rounds, he will certainly have a bigger chance than the expectation of the oddsmakers.

In any case, for this bet on Pacman I do not care if I will lose because being a fan, this might be the last time I can bet on him hehehehe.
I reckon he can sustain for full 12 rounds, Manny is not known to have week stamina or knees, although there was fight that he had cramps in his tree trunk legs and calves but it could be due to poor rehydration. As for the speed, yes that's always his advantage in his every fight. But the thing is that even if his opponents know that he has that speed, they really downplayed it to the point that they don't believed it. But during the fight we all know that speed kills and all of his opponents eats their word after. Hopefully Barrios will not fall for that trap, otherwise he will be the next victim and say that he can't see where the punches are coming from. It might not be as hard, but the speed and overtime they will be soften up by Manny in 12 rounds and then win by decision.

Agreed that Pacman's knees can sustain  for 12 rounds, however, my argument was will his knees be very much similar to when he was younger where the footwork and speed on round 1 is sustainable until round 12. I reckon the fight against Keith  Thurman has made everyone witness that his knees are not anymore making him bouncing beginning on round 6 or 7. He cannot anymore step out quickly and avoid Thurman's punches on his head.
But he still won that fight against Thurman regardless of him being punch more in the head in the latter round. However, we can't just judge him with that one fight, if yes, then we can say that age is the major factor already. We don't want to believed that, most of us thinks that Manny can still pull the trigger and that he can still bounce from beginning to the end. Although he might have to change his strategy and not to dart in and out throughout the fight. He might carefully uses when to attack, and when to take a break and we have seen him Manny during against Thurman. He will take some short 10-15 seconds of not attacking and probably that's where we see Thurman attack and thinks that Manny doesn't have the legs anymore.

Re: 2025 NBA Season

Jalen Williams has agreed to a 5-year maximum rookie contract extension that could reach $287 million. This was expected and the Thunder managed to keep one of the key pieces that helped them win the championship. The salary cap will soon become an issue for them. They knew they wouldn't be able to keep this championship roster together for long. Some players will leave and they'll rely on the development of newly drafted players. The Thunder can contend for the championship again next season, but it will be harder after that. Considering that we've been seeing different finalists every year, that trend could easily continue next season too.
Damn, almost $1 billion for OKC's Big Three SGA, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. Well deserved, right? Unlike Devin Booker, lol.
Hopefully, OKC can pull off backtoback championships since their roster is still intact. Who do you think will be their closest competition in the standings?
I'm think its Rockets again although there's so many changes in Rockets.. It's almost certain OKC will make the playoffs again given how consistent they are.
As they say, SGA is the most consistent player out there.

Yeah, around $822 million for their big 3, I guess they will have to like look for role players along the way that can provide more on defense for them. So it's a big gamble but it's more than they are willing to go and shell out that huge money. Right now we haven't seen back to back championship and it's very hard to accomplished in this era. But let's see, if this three are lock in and be healthy next season, then I guess the OKC has a big chance to repeat and that big money is worth it. I do agree, Booker hasn't proved anything yet to get that huge 2 year contract from the Suns. But the noise is still with the OKC next season as they will be the target of many teams to beat because they are the defending champion.

Re: BTC Just Hit an ATH of $112K
by

on 11/07/2025, 00:58:19 UTC
Just another historic moment for BTC!
Yesterday Bitcoin price was $112k, which was a new ATH. It is very good to see that Bitcoin price is going to increase, investors are happy. Today Bitcoin price has increased a lot, today it has set a new ATH again. Current Bitcoin ATH is $117396, I think we are going to see $120k soon. Let's see how much Bitcoin price is this month.
Ok, I'm seeing $115k, so it really went wild again in the last 24 hours and pushed to $117k. So that's good and yeah for sure we are very happy to see the price increasing to a great numbers as we have a hard time breaking that $110k barrier and now it's slice open and going as high as $117k. So it's obvious that the next target will be $120k, but let's see we might experienced the same with the $110k barrier as I have said, nevertheless, there is no barrier that we can't conquer. So let's say we stick to the plan again and just accumulate as much before it goes to $120k and then the next.

Sabalenka is having such a tough time against Anisimova. She lost the first set 4-6. She won the second set 6-4.
Trailing 3-5 in the final set, she returned the match ball twice and broke Anisimova's serve, making it 4-5. Now it's Sabalenka's turn to serve.
A thrilling final set ensues. This time, Anisimova pulls it off, breaking Sabalenka's serve, winning the set 4-6 and the match 1-2, becoming the first tennis player to reach the Wimbledon final.
Congratulations!
And it's kinda late on my timezone, but I have to go and see what happens or if someone has posted this already as it is all over my fyp. And yes, Anisimova won over world number 1 Sabalenka. Not sure if someone here has put a bet on her as she is the underdog right? So congrats if there is one, for sure you are very happy to make that bet on Amanda as she makes history herself. But jobs not done yet, so it will be Swiatek versus here. Swiatek is also chasing her own history so I do hope that we will see a exciting match. So semis for mens will be later, and again, tennis fans might tune on both games regardless of what time zone you are,  Grin.

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed Chet Holmgren for 5 years and 250 million dollars max.
It's really unbelievable money. I still don't understand how they pay these money to these players. I don't think he deserves this contract.
Let's see how long we will see such big contracts.

I understand your issue and feel the same. There's also a report that Jalen Williams might have received a good contract extension offer from the Oklahoma City Thunder. It's just clear that OKC wants to lock in their championship core lineup and instead of looking for players on the free agency or accepting proposed trade offers, they want to stick with their core championship lineup next season.

I think that will be the best option for them, to lock in their core. But we all know that sooner or later it might give them a problem as their luxury tax as over the roof. So sooner or later it's either one of them will have a pay cut or will be completely trade if their next season will be very bad for them.

And maybe history repeats itself, KD and Russ and then James Harden in OKC before. Although they didn't win a ring, but it could have been close if they stayed together. But then again, Harden has a break out year and so they can't make him a offer because of the luxury ceiling.
