it only took 3 days and i was not given the exchange rate at the time of my purchase, but i finally got my bitcoins.

still stuck in loading, definitely not a couple of hours to get my coins as the liveagent claimed, and most definitely not 1 hour as the site claims.  i have since created a mtGox account and if it would be easier i would like my funds/coins there

liveagent has not responded since yesterday morning when they said my coins would be delivered in a 'couple of hours'
do i have a support ticket after all my posts yesterday or do i fall through the cracks?  i dont have time to sit on a forum all day and wait for a reply today so im going to make it simple - so simple bitinstant can do it

All issues are different.  Don't assume they are all the same.  There are many variables in play with every transaction.

I apologize if i have been rude, i deposited a sizeable chunk of my monthly income with your company and i am just getting very frustrated.  I was feeling alot better when rachel from liveagent told me they were having issues and it would be fixed within a couple of hours.  however in that time i have been reading up on this and other forums and it seems i am far from being alone on this.  i have not seen an employee in the irc server that is claimed  'You can reach us at info@bitinstant.com or our active IRC channel.

i have been in that channel all day and i have seen 4 people speak, none of which was an employee of bitinstant and 2 of which like myself were there for bitcoins not being received.  This worries me, every other person seems to be posting about how they cannot get ahold of anyone and that you are the only contact who responds.  

Do you know where my money is or why it is not going through?  because i most certainly would like to know also.

MTGOX is getting hammered today and that is causing a lot of problems.  Things go wrong in the Bitcoin world quite often in various places.  I'm sorry that you are upset but we all saw the price jump today.  Everyone is trying to get in to Bitcoin and the infrastructure needs improvement to handle the stress...not just with BitInstant but with MTGOX and many other companies.  Think of it like downloading the blockchain and please be patient.  Smiley

my patience is running a little thin, this was supposed to be under an hour, i understand mtgox and demand outpaced the abilities of bitinstant to keep up or w/e the problem is, but there should be backups to collect my coins another way, or a way to get a refund if it cannot be unstuck.  All i have seen is a 'live'agent tell me i would have them in a couple of hours.  that was 12 hours ago.  I have seen other people with similar issues get resolved.  It reads on the site that it should never take longer on bitinstant than any other type of transfer, yet there are 24 hour options and i am fast approaching that mark.

  First time user of bitinstant, and so far not such a great experience.  I paid with moneygram and got my confirmation from zipzap before i got home from walmart.  Bitinstant site has said 'loading' under my order for the past few hours.  I have not recieved any email from bitinstant.  My bitcoin account is still empty.  The 'active' irc channel seems pretty slow and inactive, and the 'live' support seems pretty dead.

i still havent received any btc.  here is the reply i received:

Due to an API issue on the Mt.Gox exchange, there are delays funding and processing to Mt.Gox/Bitcoin purchasing exchange that has caused orders to get ‘stuck’ in our system. Rest assured, your funds are safe and your transaction has already been re-queued. Your order will process in the next couple of hours as soon as we have the appropriate balance. Thanks so much for your patience.

If there's a simple refund method I'd also be curious to hear that.

i could have done a bank transfer and had the BTC in 24 hours elsewhere, i am currently at 15 hours and it took me 5 hours to get a response from 'liveagent' who claimed i would have my BTC in the next couple hours.  As it is getting later and later and BTC prices plummet, i cannot help but wonder if i will receive them in 2 days bought at the peak and received at half what i paid


You may of contacted support in another manner but this is the first I am hearing of your situation.  Are you wanting me to try and help?  Smiley

Just bought $1500 worth for BTC12 at 5 p.m. EST today. Bitinstant sent them promptly within 30 mins; I just got the 3rd set of coins (I paid $500x3, so 4 at a time) as I am writing this. A++++ SELLER WOULD HIT IT AGAIN.
