A) Yes, it seems like all the shares are getting bought up

B) Either someone is very foolish or someone is very clever

C) Could it be that there are people who have long term faith in Active Mining?

D) Yes, Ken did screw up several time. Let's not enumerate all the screw-ups

E) Despite all that, Ken might just succeed with this company anyway

F) Only Ken has the data required to make an accurate guess of what will happen

G) The focus has to be on 1) renewing trading and 2) getting machines produced

H) Ken should not bother with the silliness of this marvelous thread except to take the advice of those who are knowledgeable

I) An advisory board WAS a good idea and should have worked except for one little factor

A) Lord Satoshi has taught us that life is fleeting and patience necessary.

B) Things come slowly and yet are fast.

C) Ken did screw up, but not so badly that there is no salvation.

D) We will see profits. We should have seen trading long ago. But, the numbers suggest that there will be profit. Great Profit.

E) Arguing on here is amusing, entertaining, but generally a waste of time.

F) Let's talk about what we will do once Mr. Slaughter makes us all rich.

G) That is far more interesting than the interminable whining.

Monday, Tuesday, WEDNESDAY--- Important Questions
by
breadcrumbs
on 03/02/2014, 13:45:45 UTC
A) Well now, we have more children on here fighting.

B) "You're a troll. No you are. I have been here longer. You are the troll. How old are you? No you are."

C) Let's all continue to count eggs before they are laid, and then count the chickens which will hatch from those eggs which have not yet been laid.

D) The only things which are important are a) restarting trading; b) producing functioning hardware which mines at a profit.

E) Everything other than (D) is not important, since the primary goal of Active Mining should be to make money for its shareholders, and not just its executives.

F) Arguing, infighting, general stupidity should not be a surprise or shock to anyone who has been around Internet forums for any subject or interest.

G) Only one person can answer all the questions about eggs and chickens. We once again, begin a week waiting for that Wednesday announcement.

H) Last week, we were promised that trading would begin this week, or at least, that verification would begin.

I) Verification has not yet begun.

J) VE / Mainline or whatever name he is using now, may be angry, bitter, and a bit of a jerk, but his essential underlying questions are valid, that is, What is Active Mining doing? What has it been doing? and When will it do what it is supposed to be doing?

K) All the speculation for the last few days on here is merely the counting the chickens before the eggs are even laid.

L) The CEO of Active Mining required us to send screen shots of each of our tender of shares.

M) BF provided a list of bitcoin addresses which can be used to sign a message.

N) Technically, all that should be required to verify shares is for an interface to ask for a signed message.

O) The interface could, theoretically, 1) ask the shareholder for their bitcoin address, and then 2) ask the shareholder to sign a message. 3) Once the signed message is verified, 4) it would then send a link to the email address on record (which BF should have provided) and send a link to create a password.

P) It really should be THAT simple. The ELigius mining pool does not use passwords. It uses a signed bitcoin message as a means of identifying a user.

Q) It really needs to be done soon. It, being verification of shares and renewed trading.

1) It is no longer important what CEO Slaughter was doing for the last few months

2) He already told us what he was doing

3) Obviously, you, Mainline/crumbs do not care what is written. We know you read it all and dissect everything said here and in irc to extract what you can to play your games of sophistry

4) Others here have speculated on your motivation for being cruel and for trying to upset others

5) Some think you want to lower the share price because you want to scoop up cheap shares

6) Others think you are just a typical internet forum troll who thinks he is clever and superior and gets a rise out of others

7) Again, Mr. Slaughter clearly explained what happened several times. Further, the past does not matter at this point, since a clear path for the future has been delineated

Cool The facts remain, transfer of shares IS happening. Trading WILL resume. Product is being developed.

9) Mr. Slaughter will pay out the promised dividends

...
As soon as I get the verification program up on the server, then as investors get verified we will start sending the list over to CT to create the accounts which will include the shares.  So, once the accounts are created then trading will start.

What were you doing the last few months?  Did it really take you that long to write a script?
And this script is so fricking huge that it takes weeks to put it up on a server?
And it's so fricking slow that it will take weeks to work?

A) It is far from a clusterfuck

B) Just follow the directions and supply Ken Slaughter with the information requested

C) Just because YOU are getting upset or anxious is no reason to totally lose control and freak out

D) The clusterfuck is in your mind and nowhere else

E) Soon you will be able to trade your shares

F) Ken Slaughter already released an official communication and here it is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=297503.msg4856872#msg4856872

G) Everything will be OK

H) You need to have patience

I) We will have miners both shipping and running in our own Active Mining Data Center in Q2

J) Ken Slaughter will make some people very rich and others will continue to complain anyway

This is already turning into a clusterfuck, just like in the past months...

Could someone from ActM please release an official communication or setup a site detailing the process? Ideally, this should even be done by CT.

2) We all know who the real sock puppet monkeys are

3) You boys claim to be adults but then make big dramatic announcements about whom you are now ignoring

4) Crumbs under his current name still gets off on getting a rise out of you

5) What is really important is that the CEO of Active Mining has PROMISED to start verifying shares today

6) That means that soon trading will resume

7) That is a very good thing

8 ) The CEO of Active Mining has also assured us that he has some real and competent engineers and a good project manager working for us

9) We do not have to be #1.

10) We all will make money even if we are #4 in the mining game

11) All other speculation is just fodder for crumbs-mainline

12) We will all be rich or at least richer than we were before Mr. Slaughter met us

2) The report for today was more substantive.

3) Thank you.

4) You said that you will be verifying shares for renewed trading starting tomorrow.

5) Again, thank you

6) We are looking forward to Q2

Cool ZumZero, don't pout, you will be rich, also.

1) It is a sad coincidence that some troll who was here before me happens to have used a handle similar to mine.

2) It is sad that ZumZero gets so angry at simple statements.

3) I merely continually point out that some people are imagining earnings and profits and situations based upon made up data

4) I WANT the CEO of Active Mining to succeed.

5) I WANT Active Mining to announce trading.

6) I WANT the stock price to go high based upon profits from mining our own machines.

7) I just find it stupid to continually imagine what could happen and what might happen based upon imagine data.

8 ) If ZumZero has a temper tantrum because I continually insist that the CEO of Active Mining be more open and honest and provide a real time table for completion of various goals, then it is a sad statement on his level of maturity.

9) The CEO of Active Mining owes us, share holders, a reasonable timetable.  The CEO of Active Mining needs to be accountable.

10) It is early evening in the USA and the CEO of Active Mining has not provided his promised weekly report.

forward-looking profit analysis

Forward-looking
Yup! Know that that means. Seems to mean imagining something, like in the future. Sort of like speculation, or guessing.

Profit Analysis
Hmmmmm...... that's a hard one. Maybe that means, more guessing about something with a limited amount of data.
Like, drawing an elaborate curve from a very limited number of data points.

So by using some fancy words, you try to legitimize counting chickens before they hatch, when you have no fertile eggs either.

It is only 3:00 PM or so here in Washington, D.C. and the CEO's weekly report has not yet been published so we still have some time to wait to get that good news.

Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated]
by

on 29/01/2014, 19:06:21 UTC
Wasubii,

You have hit the nail on the head.  Too many of the posts in this thread are really nothing more than counting chickens before they are hatched.

What is worse, is there are no eggs yet, even.

We have chicken coops built, two experts on domesticated fowl husbandry, but no eggs and no chickens.

And yet, those who speculate with pretty numbers think themselves not the FUDster and not the trolls.

Only Ken knows the truth and he is holding on to it tightly.

Please.  Let's keep one foot in reality.  The guy can't open his eyes for a publicity shot, can't write above grade-school level, and you think he'll hit the theoretical process efficiency?
ROFL.

Reality is Ken has taken on 2 in-house engineers who have already proven their metal with a taped out 55nm with excellent specs. So get back into your chair.

yada yada yada...

something about counting your chickens before they have hatched...

Normally, we would not respond to a detractor. Haters just gotta hate, you know?

But, this is why my three questions are the most important post on here today, and will remain so until the CEO of Active Mining gives his weekly PR statement:

A) All the posts of theoretical size and speed and power and cost of ASIC chips that do not exist are really pointless speculation.

B) Once the CEO of Active Mining answers Questions #2 and #3, then all of your silly speculation will be truly pointless, because we will have an answer to something which has been the cause of silly speculation like yours.

1) What will be reveal today in the weekly PR posting?

2) Will the CEO of Active Mining say that trading will begin?

3) Will the CEO of Active Mining say that there are new delays for trading to begin?

Most pointless post I've seen in ages.

1) Tomorrow is a scheduled PR update

2) Active Mining still has a window of opportunity to be great and to make some of its shareholders and it CEO very rich

3) That window will not stay open forever

4) Too many people spend too much time both here and in the IRC channel speculating on what the CEO of Active Mining is doing, planning and intending to do.

5) Instead of that delusional hopefulness, they should be putting polite pressure on the CEO of Active Mining to honor deadlines, provide an accurate report on progress and to get trading restarted

6) Tomorrow is a schedule PR update. Let's see what gets reported.

TRADING
by
breadcrumbs
on 28/01/2014, 16:40:43 UTC
Does Active Mining really need this 106 BTC right now?
Wasn't enough generated from the various IPOs?
Is there ANYONE who is prepared to buy shares of Active Mining for .01 right now?
If the CEO of Active Mining is waiting to sell all Ukyo's at the currently unjustified price of .01 (one day .01 will make sense, but not at the moment)
before transferring all our shares and reinstating full trading, we will be waiting until September, 2014.
The CEO should be focused on only two things right now, and neither of them is reading and deleting posts on here.

Those two tasks should be:
1) Getting trading re-started
2) Getting finished mining rigs completed

Anything else is a waste of energy, time and resources, both human, financial and technical. Ukyo's shares are not the problem, they are merely another distraction and excuse to do what is right and should come next.

Tomorrow is weekly PR day.

We hope that the following issues get addressed in the weekly crumbs of information for which we all scramble:

1. When will the transfer of shares be complete?
2. When will trading begin again?
3. Are you (CEO) really trying to sell Ukyo's shares for .01 before you reinstate trading for the rest of us?

The difficulties the other mining companies are having are a blessing for us, but we cannot rely on the problems of other companies to save us.

4. What the is ETA for transfer of share to be complete and trading to begin?

Remember, Active Mining still has a chance of being a great company and making us all lots of money, but only if the CEO takes some simple advice and meets his obligations to the shareholders.
