The fact that the process is completely transparent and secure, with it being unable to be altered, it will also mean that instances of fraud will be reduced due to the fact that it is seen as being impossible to break the blockchain. The way Omnitude will change the supply chain is also rather interesting with the way in which it is added to the ledger to allow for closer scrutiny of what is happening.

The Omnitude platform will act as middleware, enabling simple integration of blockchain technology into existing systems and in doing so, transforming their capabilities. It is going to revolutionize connectivity between blockchain technologies and e-commerce platforms and enterprise systems.

Omnitude will aim to make the online retail marketplace more transparent, more profitable and more secure.

The Omnitude platform can improve your small business. From a more secure way to track and manage data to enforcing contractual agreements via smart contracts, Omnitude has a lot to offer. Omnitude technology is faster and more cost effective as well, cutting out the cost of having financial institutions serving as middlemen.

What blockchain benefit is best for your small business?

Omnitude is a next-generation platform that will make e-commerce transparent, more profitable and more secure, all this became possible because of the blockchain technology. If BTC is like money over the blockchain, ethereum like relationships over the blockchain then omnitude will be safe and secure ecommerce over the blockchain.

I extracted this from omnitude whitepaper, the core principles upon which omnitude platform is made.
Quote
Open
Any entity participating in eCommerce (e.g. merchant, customer, supplier, courier, affiliate/
referrer, or Omnitude specialist) will be able to join the Omnitude ecosystem. They will be
granted an OID by the Omnitude Foundation and will run a full or partial node. Depending
on their role, the Omnitude Foundation will assign the appropriate level of access required to
transact in the ecosystem.
Secure
Additionally, Omnitude will prevent unauthorised parties from ascertaining the identity and
patterns of behaviour of any other participant by inspecting the ledger.
Transparent
Omnitude will provide deep searchability, backwards in time through many transaction
layers, to fulfil the requirements of retrieving data stored on its blockchain.

45% of online merchants and suppliers report losses greater than $1 million in revenue due to challenges faced when integrating cross-channel capabilities into their commerce strategy
This has to stop. This number is huge and the one reason that people have always been sceptical of the eCommerce industry was the risk of fraud. Now we know that big companies like PayPal, though they provide security, do it at a high cost. You either get to pick security, or low fees. Not both... until now.

Omnitude's system grants OID verification through the blockchain where multiple nodes are verifying transactions and identities.

Decreasing purchasing costs is one way that a supplier can reduce overall overheads. Reviewing stock levels in replenishing stock through an automated system of ultimately cause the supplier to save money on the wasted time and save opportunity cost from a customer buying or wanting to buy a product that appears out of stock. Stock that it's left in the warehouse is actually dead money because it's not able to be sold if it is not listed properly on the e-commerce site.

A customer will not be able to purchase that product despite having the intention to do so. Omnitudewill help businesses replenish stock at a much quicker pace because the blockchain will be able to reduce latency and lag time and have more accurate readings in real time data.

Customer service will also be able to boost it because customers will have accurate product assortment and quantity. There will be less issues of customers paying for products and the warehouse not being able to send it off for shipment. This is because Omnitude platform will be able to understand and conveyed to the seller or supplier that a particular item is out of stock and automatically replenish it.

Improved customer service will be one of the benefits of utilising blockchain tech through Omnitude because it allows the seller to communicate with a verified identity. Omnitude  OID will promote thorough verification through different nodes of the blockchain verifying transactions and users themselves. This gives the entire network a sense of confidence over the traditional centralised model.

Ultimately, within the example of the shipping industry, there will be a lower number of issues recorded for customers paying for products and the product not being in stock. This is because there will not be any delays or latency issues and items can be replenished as they diminish.

It will need to provide real-time data of where the item is along the shipment process and hence can be integrated into shipping platforms. Omnitude will be able to bring this if the systems that are currently being used are not cross compatible. This will cause a loss in the data value that businesses can extract from it.

Here it shows the importance of real time business data.

Quote
The most important asset anyone can have in business is good data. Success in the business world is all about making decisions, making them well and making them quickly. And the better informed one is, the easer that is to do. With data never previously available on the scale it is today, the art of success has shifted from being good at acquiring it, to being good at processing and extracting value from it.

I’m not so familiar with all these terms and technologies... But why does Omnitude bet on Hyperledger?

Omnitude bets on Hyperledger Fabric because it is the foundation upon which its plug-and-play tech will run on. One such integral benefit is on the supply chain in eCommerce businesses.

This is key because a lot of money will be lost in the supply chain due to lost efficiency and control. By automating processes and giving e-commerce suppliers real time data and trends, supply chains and benefits will ultimately boom.

This can take the form of cricket delivery options and less instances of out of stock issues.

Tracking inventory is needed so that old stock can be moved quickly and you stop can replenish the inventory. Electronic data interchange and code scanning are some of the features that current platforms are really based on. The way they really work is by checking one particular day stock and comparing it to the month previously of the Year previously on that very day or that very weak with that very month.

This is how e-commerce supplies work. What Omnitude wants to bring is that it will be able to use blockchain technology to have a reduce latency between how quickly these queries and searches can be done so that it saves time and it builds information as we go.

It turns out that the platform’s solutions are presented as if this were right what the participants of the consumer market had been waiting for! Is the platform created just for this?

The efficacy of Omnitude   is something to know. If Omnitude utilizes a modular architecture. It will be able to design applications that have access to the services of other platforms at the right time without being overwhelmed but I unnecessary services or queries.

All the applications may be inefficient to use because they do not properly integrate with very modern computer architecture. However if these systems are on the cloud as of now comma then they will be able to be more easily integrate into Omnitude plug and play solution.

It is a radical concept I think... that works within the blockchain ecosystem to enable SME and even some larger enterprises to utilise the benefits of blockchain tech.

It uses a plug and play Hyperledger fabric specially designed for ecommerce websites which ensures that migration does not pose any problems. This Hyperledger Fabric was something that was created by the Linux Foundation. So it has good backing with a big name like the Linux Foundation.

Further, it will allow ecommerce stores to introduce an enhanced payment system that utilises verification systems only available with blockchain tech. This is without changing their existing payment system. Omnitudeis used as an integration layer so it does not need an overhaul.

This all ties back to the idea that the coin that Omnitudeis releasing must increase in value over time. This is only possible because the company that backs the coin is itself valuable. This is determined by businesses and Enterprises adopting Omnitude middleware into their existing e-commerce platforms.

Any entity participating in eCommerce will be able to join the Omnitude ecosystem.

Additionally, Omnitudewill prevent unauthorised parties from ascertaining the identity and patterns of behaviour of any other participant by inspecting the ledger.

The CEO has all the relevant experience you look for in someone in charge of an ICO including extensive knowledge of their marketplace. He was Managing Director of Pixel by Pixel which is a design, development & e-commerce agency, that he’s personally grown from a one man band to a solid 16 person digital agency.

Omnitude will grow to a larger corporation upon mass adoption by e-commerce SMEs...

Having that much relevant e-commerce experience is necessary these days as ceo's are not usually competent within the industry. This allows the Investor to see that the CEO of Omnitude is not merely another blockchain enthusiast, but is able to understand the market value of the product they are producing.

Commercial awareness is essential for the economic viability of the platform to the public for sale or for licensing. It means that they need to have a pragmatic interest in the business world where they are supplying their software to. It is necessary to have an overall understanding of the industry to take in factors which affect their product.

Yeh, candicegordan...

Omnitude will help increase transparency within a privatised network. But will larger retailers be willing to come on board?

It should do this by ensuring that genuine goods are easily identified whilst highlighting fraudulent copies.Omnitude’s Single Identity and Single Reputation will help reduce the most usual form of fraud- Identity Theft.

ID theft is a large cause of a lot of money lost within the e-commerce world...

End-to-end transparency is necessary with Omnitude as a consumer to understand the inner workings as to how they're produces operate.

Within a private blockchain network consumers will want to have a long-term relationship with there sellers. This is only possible if each consumer has confidence that the seller is auditable as well as having a good record.

EBay for example utilizes the star rating method as does uber. However more attention within the commercial space needs to be paid to the rating system because this is the backbone that the consumer relies on for confidence in the system.

Omnitude will aim to make the online retail marketplace more transparent, more profitable and more secure. This instills confidence within the customer of the privatised network and allows them to ultimately come and collect if you bring integrity back into the real retail industry. This is what Chris painter the CEO of Omnitude has described blockchains effect as. I wonder how creators generally want to make people use it all? There is a lot of competition in this market.

Omnitude helps provide a record of manufacture origin and provenance. There will always be competition in the market, but people will always demand security, efficiency and reliability within a private contracted network. Manufacture origin is only supported through transparency which grants the public confidence in the system. Provenance is necessary for this type of transparency.

Blockchain enables supply chains to feature a high degree of transparency. A recent statistic is shown that in the United Kingdom about 30% of consumers are very concerned about issues relating to the origin of products.

This is because the consumer has every right to know where they're material of the product is sourced from and whether the producer is open and available to answer any queries that the consumer might have about their product the better purchasing. Blockchain through its universal Ledger technology operates by a network of nodes.

Omnitude utilises this need by providing a plug-and-play solution to existing supply chains within the e-commerce industry.

A number of supply chains already utilised blockchain technology. It establishes provenance and essentially governance over all nodes in the private network. This enables transparency within the entire network meaning that businesses are more portable.

Omnitude has a token sale launching on April 25th and it will radically transform e-commerce Industries bye it's plug and play software which is built on the Linux Foundation hyperledger fabric that is able to be adapted into an entire spectrum of Enterprise platforms. Seeing as this date is not far off, a lot of the token sale has already commenced. Omnitude will bring forth its middleware based off very high-profile blockchain ledger tech and hopefully begin work as per its roadmap.

Roadmap is looking good....

Final version release will be out in Q2 2018, is this appropriate and still on target? Regardless, the important part is that EVENT tokens will be released also in that time period.... So looking good if this all plays out so far.
Where do I see the roadmap? you give me the roadmap of the project

Check on their white paper (https://presale.ventures/white_paper) under Ecosystem .7.6 There's a Road map section. The road map lays out the proposed plans for the different quarters of each Year.
