Re: Can Bitcoin Survive In A Deflationary Economy?

Check the global inflation rate from the time Bitcoin was created up to now. If you see that inflation has consistently gone up around the world, then that already answers your question.. Bitcoin didn’t just survive, it thrived. It’s like a classic zero-to-hero story, that’s what Bitcoin is.

So the big question is whether Usyk is interested in fighting Parker (Parker definitely is) or would he prefer to vacate the WBO belt and fight someone else.

I think Usyk would rather retire than take an easy fight against this mandatory challenger. Honestly, Fury is a much tougher opponent than Parker, and that’s who he’s facing next. Since Usyk has hinted at retirement before, I wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to hang up his gloves soon , there’s really no one left in the division who can truly challenge him.

I am sure this is the default personal message settings.

So, this is enough to save us from this hassle, but if it's not the default setting, then members should uncheck the tick mark from "Allow newbies to send you PMs" unless you understand the risks. And if you see someone is sending you unsolicited PMs, then simply use the "Report to admin button that will get them banned.
Brilliant idea mate. This will really help a lot of newbies that will encounter incident like this in the future. And to add this, know the essence of DYOR. Newbies mostly fall on certain scams because they are lazy to make extended research and prolong study habits. Newbies should exert more efforts because they almost lack everything, and when they have gained sufficient enough, that’s the time they can slow down, but they shouldn’t get lazy when it comes to keeping active in the forum and be updated with the latest news and scam updates.

I get what you mean. The buy-and-hold strategy is especially valid for Bitcoin and has been a proven way to make gains for years. But Bitcoin has different uses. It's not just an investment tool. I've been buying and selling things with Bitcoin for 12 years. For me, Bitcoin is money.
Some people see it like a stock, some see it like gold. But as it was originally intended, Bitcoin is a means of exchange that can stand strong against inflation. If you clearly separate the coins you keep for investment from the ones you use in daily transactions, you'll be more successful.
This should be the proper mindset for bitcoin. You spend it, and at the same time you are investing a bigger fraction of it and hold for long term. That way, there is more balance, and the fact that you utilize it will, your bitcoin ownership will continue to grow especially that you are using it both as a currency and as an investment.

However, not all bitcoin investors have the same mindset like you. But for me, whatever it is, as long as you know your ultimate goals with bitcoin, and you think that will make you comfortable so you can gain more of it, then stick with it. We all have our various strategies on how to navigate our bitcoin investment, we just have to do what is right for us.

The higher price bitcoin will gain, the more haters around will be developed. And we shouldn’t get affected with them, because what they believed are simply the lies with bitcoin, while we exactly know the whole truth, so there’s nothing to worry with that.

Haters gonna hate all throughout, and that’s also their business in life. But us, let’s stick with bitcoin not because it’s the right thing to do, but because we are more than knowledgeable than them when it comes to bitcoin. They will hate bitcoin no matter what, and we can’t do nothing to change their mindset.

CP3 still good contributor for his team and his presence is really a big thing for their shooters and bigs.
No doubt he’s still got it, he hasn’t really lost his skills. The main issue with him is his health. But now that he won’t be a starter and will probably just play limited minutes with his new team, he might not be as prone to injuries.

This could be CP3’s last shot.
If he still doesn’t win a championship here, I think he might finally call it a career.

Well aside of my last comment about him in this thread i also feel like is gonna be super difficult to win the ring in a team like Los Angeles Clippers, i mean they are one of the most losers teams in history the awfull brother in the city and when they always seems to be in the path of winning something they fail, so i dont know how much chance they got despite having a good team.

I kinda disagree with your statement. I think the Clippers are actually a decent team. yes, they haven’t won a championship or made it to the Finals yet, but if I remember right, during CP3’s time, they were making the playoffs consistently.

Even now, they’re still solid. They’ve got a lot of vets on the roster, and that experience makes them smarter and more composed. some people might not see it, but for me, they look like a legit championship team now, honestly, better than the Lakers in their current form.

If the government can provide some skills acquisitions as you have mentioned create job opportunities to their citizens both graduates and undergraduates i know there is no way it come get everybody but it will come how reduce the rate of of addicted gamblers in the country, been idol is not very good when occupy with some work your rate of gambling will definitely reduced.
But not all gambling addicts are people without jobs or who aren’t earning enough. It really depends on a person’s attitude and how they handle their emotions as even if you have a stable job, if you let yourself fall into addiction, you’re not exempt, you’ll still face the consequences.

Banning gambling just affects everyone, even the responsible ones. That’s not the right way to deal with it.

Why punish those who gamble responsibly just because others can’t control themselves?

Not sure what games you’ve been playing, but I can recommend trying out Sweet Bonanza and Sugar Rush, both are from Pragmatic Play. I think that provider really makes fun and exciting slot games.
You are gambling for excitement but OP is gambling to win. So those slot games that you mentioned is not what the OP wants. OP should understand that there are no games (not only slot games) that gambling sites are providing their customers to play that have profit. They are provided for fun and not a means to win. OP do not need to gamble if what he needs is money.
But is there really a slot game where we can actually win big consistently? I mean, yeah there are different types of games, but in the end, they all fall under slots and most of them have the same RTP anyway.

That’s what really determines our chances of winning, and since it’s mostly just luck, there’s no specific game that can really make us profitable in the long run. Might as well just enjoy the game while we play.

In terms of winning chances, it’s pretty much the same across the board. Most of them have an RTP around 96–97%. I’m not winning consistently either, and to be honest, I probably still lose more than I win overall. But those games I mentioned, I've had some decent wins on them before, so they’re worth a shot.

A near win worth millions is really something you’ll regret, so it’s better not to change what you usually do.

Just stick with it all the way, even until the end.

Not all lottery bettors win, some people even pass away without ever hitting the jackpot. That’s just how this kind of game works. There’s no need to come up with complicated betting methods. Just trust in luck and hope that one day, it finally goes your way.

I'll tell you something curious and interesting
Brazil is one of the countries that bets the most
Maybe they do bet more often, but they’re not part of the top 10 countries earning big from gambling operations. That probably means they have the volume, but the average bet per person is small.

These are the countries where gambling tax revenue is actually high.

There no need of ban if the purpose can't be achieved completely in my opinion, those nation that happens to ban or put rigid restrictions may lack some understanding of IGR because many citizens will still have their ways of scaling to the gambling, the money in gambling is very huge that a government can make a good revenue and still use it on the citizens to improve their life if government with good policy utilize it well as they tax.
The fact that they’re even thinking of a ban just shows they can’t regulate the market properly anymore. And they probably don’t realize that banning casinos won’t stop gambling, it’ll just push people toward unlicensed ones, which is way more dangerous.

Unless you're a country like China that has full control, banning casinos won’t really work. It won’t solve the problem, it’ll just make things worse.

The small Japanese star just got signed by the Bulls.

Breaking: Chicago Bulls Sign Fan Favorite Yuki Kawamura
Quote
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Bulls and Kawamura have agreed to a two-way contract for next season. Kawamura posted averages of 9.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.2 steals across five Summer League games coming off the bench. While Kawamura could've signed anywhere, he's staying put in Chicago.

His numbers probably came from garbage time since he barely gets used, maybe because of his size. But this little guy’s got talent for sure.
He got some attention during the Olympics when his team pulled off a few upsets. Hopefully with the Bulls, he’ll be used more effectively.

Good luck to him.

Re: Trading business vs. gambling business in crypto
by
freedomgo
on 21/07/2025, 13:14:14 UTC
I see trading as a gamble; unlike a casino, it's more complex and definitely less fun.
Trading and I have had a falling out. I just can't enjoy it, it's not fun, and in any case, if I have to risk money to make a profit, I'd much rather do it while having fun.

Trading is a gamble, but it’s not gambling, and that’s the difference.

You’re right, trading isn’t fun because it’s not meant for entertainment. Gambling is. When we talk about entertainment, it usually means we’re spending money just to enjoy, so losing is part of it. But trading is more like a serious venture. You study, build skills, and aim to be profitable.

But since we’re talking business here… honestly, I think gambling is more profitable than the trading business. Just look at the volume, there are way more casinos operating than trading sites, and the money flowing into them is massive.

Re: [Boxing] Mario Barrios vs Manny Pacquiao WBC Welterweight Title - July 19
by
freedomgo
on 21/07/2025, 07:33:17 UTC
Also, you want Pacman vs. Boots Ennis? I will be sorry for Pacman fans because Boots will give him a knockout similar to the knockout he received from Juan Manuel Marquez. I am quite certain of this.

I don't think Pacquiao will fight Boots Ennis, he's a very dangerous opponent for Manny at this stage of his career. They chose Mario Barrios because he's considered the weakest among the current welterweight champions. So if Manny does return to the ring, I believe they'll pick an opponent with a similar caliber to Barrios. Although names like Gervonta Davis and Rolando Romero have been mentioned, I still think both are too risky for Manny.
Isn’t it better for Manny to just focus on negotiating the rematch instead of chasing another champion right away? I think he has a better shot at getting recognition if he becomes a champ again, and since Barrios is open to a rematch, he should stick with that. No need to shift focus to other fighters yet, he can prepare properly and make a strong comeback in that rematch.

Similar topics may already exists but I'm creating this topic anyway to warn everyone, especially the newbies that NEVER trust anyone from Telegram even if it's your own brother, mother or father.

This is what I do now too. I’m always skeptical when someone asks for money. It’s not just on Telegram even on big platforms like Facebook, accounts can get hacked and you might end up talking to a scammer without knowing it. I had a friend who became a victim of that, so I’ve been extra careful ever since.

If it’s about money, don’t just chat. Call to confirm, better safe than sorry.

Re: Why are you taking profit on bitcoin?
by
freedomgo
on 20/07/2025, 23:01:02 UTC
Since majority cannot use their bitcoin as a currency, then most likely we are seeing bitcoin now as our main investment, and any profitable investment will surely generate profits, and any amount of profits should be used wisely and accordingly based on our goals and purposes.

Now, why am I taking profits? Most of it are personal reasons. And just to remind us, we should also enjoy the profits that we have, and not just used for re investment, otherwise we will not benefit the profits if we don’t feed ourselves with things that will give us joy and temporary happiness.

Re: Banning gambling, would this solve the problem?
by
freedomgo
on 20/07/2025, 15:01:42 UTC
The major issue and reason why I think banning gambling in a country entirely is not a good idea is that it's not complete solution to prevent gambling addiction, though I agree that it can significantly reduce it.

Banning gambling comes with a big sacrifice, meaning the government will lose a chunk of revenue. They just need to really think it through. If other countries can allow gambling and still make good income from it, then maybe the issue isn’t gambling itself, but the lack of proper policies.

So I think the real problem they need to fix first is the addiction. If they can’t solve that, then maybe that’s when a ban should be considered as a last option.
