Hey, Order ID?

OK, so it is my responsibility to report results after a (semi) reasonable resolution.

There are currently credits pending in my account, and for that I am grateful.

Question for Me:  Do you think these guys are legit?

Yes I do.  However, I think these guys are way way way in over their head.

I am in the catastrophe response business, and often a lack of preparedness seems like corruption.

Now, let's call 'em like we see em.  I raised holy goddamned hell, PM'ed a lot of people, and screamed bloody murder.

After my funds (appeared to be) transferred I deleted my Reddit thread.

Guys, let's be honest here, a random Internet thread is not an acceptable vehicle to the resolution of highly sensitive financial transactions.

This thread isn't even accessible from your site?  What gives?

I only found this thread after searching for ways I might have been scammed.

Perhaps the readers have still been scammed?  Perhaps.  Perhaps, me, loud, got handled, and the others are being grouped into a cage.

The only defense is numbers.  Account numbers, transaction numbers, proof of something happening.

Can't believe it... Speechless.  Hoped that I'd get my money but had no hope whatsoever of getting the difference of what I would have made if I'd had it a week ago.

Not only did Yankee get me my original deposit, he gave me what the difference was for the coins if I would have bought them on time.

I know my store is great with customer service but have to give it to Yankee and Ursay.  They put up with our crap AND came through.  Good job.

Wow!  Could you show me the order details?  That would be freaking awesome!

I responded to your PM as well.
(ellipses)
Got it! Doing my best here!

That's the content of your responses.  Saying "I hear you" is not an answer.

Where is the money.  Give a transaction number.  Account number.  Being friendly is not an answer.

Our money is somewhere.  Tell us where.

We've been solving issues in this thread for 150 pages...don't you think that give us some decent credibility?  Smiley

By your own admission you are a 4-day employee.  You have as much insight into this company as I do.

I would disagree but you are entitled to your opinion.  Cheesy

A better response would be even the remotest idea of where my money is.

Hey whats up guys,

Investing into my first bitcoins today after debating for the past two weeks. Went through with it and used BitInstant to cash deposit USD by moneygram to a bitcoin address. The order has been completed on BitInstant (Order executed - funds deposited at remote exchange, etc.)

22272abc-58b4-4fb1-b280-4862f752fc76 heres the quote ID.

My question is did I choose the wrong receive option? I noticed they had an option "Bitcoins to email" and would that have been better? Because won't the Bitcoin address I have only receive Bitcoins or will it convert those dollars into bitcoins automatically? Newb mistake I know, just curious.

I believe you received your funds.  I am seeing 11 confirms on your transaction.  Are you using Bitcoin-QT?  Maybe you just need to download the blockchain?  Smiley

Yeah I checked myself on blockchain.info and now have 12 confirmations, and I never didnt believe I'd receive the funds I trust BitInstant. Im using Bitcoin-Qt on mac, I think the issue is its still synching to network and my wallets are out of sync so once its synced it should show up I assume? thanks for quick response.

Ya you got it!  Cheesy

It's always wise to be patient with the blockchain.  You'll see what I mean as you continue using BTC.  Cheesy

Ok, so I'm supposed to believe that this isn't atroturfing?

In one hour a noob got their money and felt it necessary to post here?

So explain to me how this super-excited noob found this board?  You know how I found it?  By googling and trying to figure out if I had been scammed.

Previously, I had given you guys the benefit of the doubt.  Now it is clear to me that you are scamming on a sick level.

Wait so they are scamming people here, inermae ? I'm confused, aer you bashing me because I'm a noob. I've been following BitCoins for 2 years just never made the jump to invest. I posted here because its a decent source of info.

I was just looking for some help, no ill will towards any and all.

I am on an Internet forum talking to people that I genuinely have no idea if they have any relation to the company that I gave $500 to.  The "official" support email has returned nothing to me in three days.  The homepage and the blog have NO indication that anything at all is going on.

Forgive me if I am feeling funny or irate.  This isn't exactly the sort of thing that happens when you deal with a reputable company.

The reason this thread is longer is because URSAY is responding to every single person as of 2 days ago when we hired him.

Your first statement is false because we honor the price and give refunds from time of deposit, which Ive said countless times in this thread.

I appreciate your patience here, we're doing our best with this volume explosion that we've seen.

At the end of the day, we've never scammed anyone and don't intend to do so. We'd appreciate if you treat us with the same respect we treat you with.

Anyways, your order failed because someone tried manually processing a few times and it froze up.

I cancelled it and reprocess it without any fees.

Thanks

You guys seem to spend plenty of time posting to defend yourselves.  You have given me nothing but "We have your ticket."

Prove it.  Where is my money?

Hey, Ursay, since you're apparently working, please give me an update.  I'm going on three days:

Deposited $480.05 yesterday, no coins received.  I had deposited the day prior, and received the coins instantly.

OrderID: bc9233ec-0670-42e8-8018-0f7b288a2df8
EventID: 15e05d38-1406-441e-b030-7f8ee0cb7600

I emailed support almost 24 hours ago, and still no response.

Do you have an order ID #?  Please provide more details about your order such as the options you used and what went wrong.  Thanks!

Isn't the order id number in the above quote?

What went wrong is that I never received the bitcoins.  I used identical options to my previous successful transfer. (Moneygram)  I see no evidence of any transfer using the blockchain.info search (as was suggested by the bitinstant confirmation email)

I am not sure what other information you need to find my transaction.  I feel very uncomfortable copy-pasting the contents of the confirmation email in a public forum.  Please PM me for any specifics you need.

My apologies.  I overlooked your order ID #.

Where was the cash supposed to go from Moneygram?

Directly to my wallet.  The destination account hash is viewable using the bitinstant order status.  However, blockchain.info shows no record of a transaction to this address.

Thanks for all the extra info.  Your ticket has been opened and I will contact you as soon as I have anymore info.  Smiley

-BitInstant Support

It has now been 48 hours since my deposit, and I do not have the bitcoins, nor any information other than the initial confirmation email.  I have received no emails from your support team, nor any update other than your indication that a ticket has been opened.  I would appreciate some information as to what has happened.
