Re: What amount did you start to trade?

I was starting with a small amount as well. I made some mistakes and lost money. But I didn't expect to have profits from the very beginning, I knew it was not that simple. After a while, I've decided to try hodling and “filling the gaps” in my knowledge. And later, when I saw the CEX wires announcement, I deposited in XRP: https://cex.io/wires-campaign/. And I liked this option, as well as the exchange itself.

Coinbase is not a wallet. But it can provide a storage for keeping funds. And guys are right, it's not advisable to store coins on the exchange. There are crypto wallets for such purposes which are more secure. You can keep just a little portion on the exchange which has a cold storage like CEX (https://cex.io/).

Re: TOP 10 BITCOIN CITIES IN THE WORLD

I have some other suggestions. I think Japaneese capital should top the list as the volume of Bitcoin trading in the country is one of the largest in the world. Japanese government recognized cryptocurrency as a means of payment and many institutions accept it. Also, in my opinion, Valetta (Malta) and Seoul (South Korea) should be included.

You always need to study in order to be a successful person. The main key of success is being able to use information. Economics is a science about people who make decisiouns about resources in different conditions. It could give everyone the basic understanding of how to deal with financial operations and how the parts of the world influence each other.

Well, I think we shouldn’t rule out already existing investors. For example, mostly I’m practicing long-term trading strategy, but from time to time (when I have such possibility) I buy some more coins. Each time I'm buying 'em I transfer small amount of coins to the cold storage at cex (https://cex.io/) for the purposes of trading, but the biggest part immediately getting transferred to my hardware wallet. So old investors don’t sit on their hands too.

1. Well, I have only used CEX. I haven't been hacked and the whole platform has never experienced such a thing.
2. Of course, not. It's actually dangerous. Most of my assets are kept on a hardware wallet.
3. RSI.
4. I read current news and search the information.
5. Haven't tried that either.
6. BTC/USD or ALT/USD, but I'm also planning to trade cryptos for EUR (https://cex.io/btc-eur).

Re: Is there a required amount before you start trading?
by

There is no required amount to start trading, so decision is yours. Never spend more than you can lose without unpleasant consequences. Then there won’t be a reason to worry about. You will easily go through the ups and downs of the market with an opportunity to buy more coins. In spite of apparent simplicity, it’s easy to get lost. But don’t panic. Only a cold math and detailed plan are your friends. So It’s better to care about your trading skills, than about the amount.

Re: How to choose the best exchange service and save your time?

Agree with Bennix. That is how one should choose an exchange. But also I would like to add that it's also important what payments methods are accessible and what fees are charged. For instance, CEX (https://cex.io/) has recently lowered their fees for using Visa and Mastercard – it looks attractive for starting trading there.

There are some articles on BitDegree (https://www.bitdegree.org/tutorials/cryptocurrency-trading/), Cryptocurrency Facts (https://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/how-to-trade-cryptocurrency-for-beginners/), Finder is also good (https://www.finder.com/cryptocurrency/trading), Hackernoon (https://hackernoon.com/the-cryptocurrency-trading-bible-43d0c57e3fe6), and TheBrockBackPacker (https://www.thebrokebackpacker.com/investing-in-cryptocurrency-trading/). But to me, trading is 10% of skills, 10% of luck, 10% of patience and 70% of emotions.

Re: which exchange you usually trade ?

1.OKEX
2.Bitfinex
3.Binance
These three trading platforms are all I use very often, and they are very safe, but most of my transactions come from the altcoin, because bitcoin is expensive, I can hardly buy!

Yeap, the same situation here. I'm trading altcoins at the moment, as I can't afford buying Bitcoin. But you know, at CEX, for example, BTC price is a bit lower than the average on the market. Have you tried it? I heard they've also updated their wire transfers lately:  https://cex.io/wires-campaign/. What can you say about it?

Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest?

kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.
I'm pretty sure that those who invested in January are experiencing up to 80-90% of losses. They all should have invested in btc in 2010 - it was a nice chance to become a millionaire  Grin

Probably, you're right. But still, it's very hard to predict when it's high time to buy or sell.

You can search for such info on the Internet. There are plenty of articles with "tops of exchanges" with different reviews. Maybe you'll find what you’re looking for.

Re: What is the difference between a "coin" and "token"?

Coin is a means of payment. Bitcoin is a coin. Token is an asset that guarantees the compliance with the conditions, it works like a receipt for services or goods a person paid for.
