This project is yet another Kaspa clone. You can verify this by yourself. Download Kaspa go node and kobra go node. Open Visual Studio code on the root of both projects. Right click on a file from kaspa project and click "Select for compare", do the same for the same file on the kobra project but click "Compare with Selected". You'll see most of the code is the same.

If you compare the files inside the app folder, the kobrad project has 2 less files, the rest of the 217 files have the same name and structure.

Code:
$ diff -rq ./kobrad/app ./kaspad/app | grep "^Only in"
Only in ./kaspad/app/appmessage: rpc_fee_estimate.go
Only in ./kaspad/app/appmessage: rpc_submit_transaction_replacement.go

Be careful, Kaspa clones are known for failing and going to 0. I wonder why people don't just admit it's a clone.

I want to inform that at least the BTC was distributed in the amount/percentage they said. I received an email that the normal distribution has begun, so I logged into the Claim Portal to check it. They have posted the txid along with the Statement of the distribution. Indeed, I check my wallet all good! Cool
Hopefully, they will distribute the rest of the coins soon enough so we can go to the final closure point.

Same here, BTC and DOGE

⭐ Merited by Lafu (1)
Anyone who is eligible for a refund from Cryptopia and the liquidators should keep an eye on their addresses that he has insert in the Claims Portal over the next few days.
The reason for this is that the distribution for Users has begun.

On monday there was an Email sended out to a few Testers for Test Transactions.
This is the Email:

Quote
Dear Cryptopia Account Holder,

We are pleased to inform you that the interim distribution process has commenced. This process includes several steps, starting with the “Opt-In” for a test transaction.

Here are the key details:

    - Voluntary Process:
Participating in this test transaction step is voluntary. It involves sending a small amount of cryptocurrency to your submitted wallet address. This allows account holders to confirm the validity of their submitted wallet address.

    - Impact on Balance:
Please note that the amount of the test transaction, along with any associated transaction fees, will be deducted from your overall calculated distribution and balance.

    - How to Opt-In:
To participate, log in to the Claims Portal and use the radio buttons provided to record your response to this optional process. This Opt-In process is only available for 24 hours and if we do not receive a response from you within 24 hours of this email, we will assume you have decided to not opt-in for a test transaction.
- Confirmation and Records:
Upon completion of the test transaction, you will receive a confirmation email. Additionally, a record of this distribution will be available for download from the claims Portal.

    - Post-Test Transaction Window:
Once the test transaction is completed, a 12-hour window will open for participants to contact our customer support team if they wish to request removal from participation in the full distribution.

    - Non-Participation:
Participation in this step is not mandatory. Account holders who choose not to participate will automatically move forward to the full distribution stage, which will occur after the completion of the test transaction. This interim distribution will be paid excluding any transaction fees/gas charged by the network for the completion of this transaction. We encourage all account holders who do not opt-in for a test transaction to login to the claims portal and confirm that the wallet address submitted is correct.
Source : Email from the Liquidators

Since there were no failed test transactions during the test, the liquidators have now started to initiate the repayment.
All those required to do this do not need to do anything else, everything is done automatically and the transactions are carried out.
If there are any issue or problems please contact the Claims Portal Support :  https://cryptopia.zendesk.com/

The transactions from the liquidators are sent out in several steps, not all at once.
Dogecoin is first, followed by Bitcoin.
I should also point out that you should wait 24 hours before contacting support (https://cryptopia.zendesk.com/) if something is missing or transactions are missing or have not arrived.

Yeah, I tried the test tx and it worked fine, I got my txs at the addresses I provided. Let's hope they start refunding the whole thing (I think it was 90%) tomorrow.

I gave them my BTC and DOGE address but hadn't received a single coin yet. They are supposed to pay 90% before Dec 31, they have 1 month left. The rest will be paid next year, they have time until Jun 2025.

Liquidators are pulling out of place with Doge payments at all, users may miss the second altseason after hacking the exchange, now due to sluggishness or unwillingness on the part of the liquidators. Sad
That has really nothing to do with sluggishness or unwillingness from the Liquidators even yes it is sad that maybe we will be miss the altcoin season.
The Liquidators hands are tied by the Law in a certain way , of course some things could have been done differently or better but at least we get something back.

As far as I understood, they should pay on NOV or DEC. Hopefully they do it before it goes down again.
Something around that time they have written that there will be starting the payback for the Coins Bitcoin and Dogecoin.
But they will be announce that on the Liquidators Homepage and i guess also in form of an Email for each User who is entitled to it.

They've already collected addresses to deposit from some users, including myself. Maybe if someone has already received his DOGE and/or BTC, he could let us know.

Just another way of cheating people!  Picking who they can distribute to.  I've been in these threads since they started and I attempted to give KYC to them in fact one time it even went through.  I haven't received an email from them for about a year and a half.

The NZ government should be alerted to this.

Have you tried using their zendesk support? I've had no issues so far. Every time I opened a ticket, they answered me fairly quickly. Have you checked your spam folder? Their emails ended up in spam folder a couple of times.

Can you post a link and/or an email address for this?

Though this will be welcomed news by those were victims of Cryptopia, there are a couple of things to remember. First, the liquidators have not given a date when any crypto will be returned and that leaves victims still waiting with no real end in sight. Second, unfortunately those that did not want to send KYC to the liquidators will never be able to see any percentage of their stolen funds returned.

This drama has been dragging along for far too long, I hope it ends soon because the Cryptopia victims have suffered enough.

Source : From my Email i got from the Liquidators

If you now log into the Claims Portal you can enter your wallet addresses where you would like to receive your Bitcoin and Dogecoin when the time comes for the payouts to be made.

I don't think this is true, the distribution phase is exactly that. I've received an email recently asking for my wallet address to deposit DOGE and BTC, they will be returning DOGE and BTC first. I'm pretty sure they'll deposit most of both coins before eoy. And they also said they would be returning the rest during the first half of 2025. I don't know about the other coins like LTC, etc.

Say goodbye to your funds. First you get scammed by cryptopia, then you get scammed by liquidators and finally, if court accepts this point, you get scammed by NZ judicial system.
This saga has been dragged out for far too long. At the end of the day, investors have lost money and all they want is to get it back. Some investors will not give their identify for KYC therefore those funds can be recycled back to the recovered funds pot and be used towards those that will give KYC. Instead, all we here is more drama from the liquidators and Courts.

There should be a limit as to how much any liquidator or administrator is allowed to take for themselves because there is not an endless pit of Cryptopia funds. They are still trying to recover funds and the costs associated are simply going to take away a large amount of victims compensations whenever they will be made.

I agree, this shouldn't take that long. And if it's going to take that long, there should be an explanation of why it's taking so long.

This week NZ court will decide if they accept how they're going to give us back our funds. Let's hope we get back our funds before 2024.

I'm still waiting for mine! What address do they ask for? The one in your ID?
Hey monrad , i think you will get yours soon if you already have registered at the Claims Portal it just a matter time you will receive it.
There are so many emails that have to sended and i got mine 2 days ago and otheres 4 ago , you should be good.
The address where you live and it should be match the one you have written on the Claims Portal and also with your ID Card.

Got it, so far so good  Cool

@GbitG I don't know if they look at the expiration date. Maybe it doesn't matter but that's something I don't know. I think you'll get your new passport before they can answer that question. Support is pretty slow. They took two months to answer an email, so, if you ask, be patient.

Thanks! Yes I already registered and completed the first step. I know they are doing country by country, I can wait, time is not a problem. I'll have to verify what address I provided. I want to have everything prepared before they contact me  Grin

P.S: By the way, the only option that they give you for verifying your identity is a bank statement? Undecided
I got my KYC Email today and registered successfully !

What you need is a camera on the PC or the easiest and fastest way to use your smartphone.
Open the email on your smartphone and then click on the link in the email, which will take you to the Claims Portal login.
There you enter your login details which you have hopefully written down.
But what you can possibly prepare before is to have the front of your ID card or driver's license in a clearly legible image on your mobile phone.
You should also do the same with an electricity bill, payroll or any other document that has your address clearly written on it.
The documents should be seen individually as a whole.

You will be asked to upload them during the KYC process, but you can also take photos from there.
Address and personal data are requested and have to be entered again and afterwards you have to check everything again and then send it off.
If everything is fine you will see "Thank you for adding the Identification docs" in the display.

Hey, it's great you could pass your KYC process, congrats on that. I'm still waiting for mine! What address do they ask for? The one in your ID?

CCMiner 2.2.5 scam or legit?
by

on 08/02/2018, 15:14:31 UTC
Hi, someone gave me a link for CCMiner 2.2.5. However I can't find anything about this version in tpruvot github repository. This file is in "MSFTserver" repository, supposedly released by tpruvot.

Does anybody know anything about this being legit?

CCMINER 2.2.5 github: https://github.com/MSFTserver/ccminer/releases

Thanks!
