In my book, Kraken and Bithumb both suck. I did finally get my deposit from Kraken to Bithumb after 20 days, which is not acceptable. I immediately transferred my XRP out and will never do business with ethier ever again.

Kraken does not care the issue is between them and Bithumb. Here is what their support said:

As for why we don't post a bulletin that would be unprofessional since the issue at Bithumb would be temporary and we don't block clients from having free will on where to send their funds. It is always highly suggested clients research the exchange they send funds to before they send them.
I don't think Kraken is the problem. I have a deposit into Bithumb sing January 4th as well. I believe it may be the way XRP and exchanges interact. i ahve sent my XRP off of Kraken and onto HITBTC and it didnt show up right away; i had to put in a ticket on their system and then i saw it in the morning.
Im going to take the advice of someone who posted on here and will do 1:1 tickets specifically, requesting for my deposit. might get lucky.....who knows. right?!?!?
This is really frustrating and do not understand why this is such a big deal?!?!
Any luck yet? I am still missing my XRP deposit from Jan 4th. I call Bithumb everyday. Guy told me today it could take few months to get back. I filed a ticket and all they say is it is with the right department and I have to wait.
same situation. ive recorded almost every conversation ive had with them most of them giving different stories.
1.) its in queue 2.) it takes time for bithumb to process the data from the blockchain 3.) bithum is backed up 4.) its not lost, hq just has to find it
whatever the case is i think everyone who has this issue come together and get a headcount. get all of our documents proving we sent the xrp to them and have not been given the xrp we sent. we can call the media or authorities to meet us at the bithumb office so bithumb will be pressured to handle the situation. we hand them a packet with all of our information and a letter stating we demand to know where our xrp went and to give us a time frame by a certain deadline. if they dont comply then we all file a class action lawsuit for negligence and punitive damages. considering they are already in the new for possible tax evasion and other questionable issues, they cant afford any more bad media coverage. especially losing people's assets.

Giving an update - January 15th. no XRP. I called their support line and the guy whom i spoke with was surprised at the amount of time (since January 4). He placed me on hold and spoke to his manager where he told me she had sent an email to that dept. So i dont know what is going on.
i too have had the same excuses used with the exception of #4
i agree on the class action .... count me in!
You have got to hear this, i just got off of the phone with Bithumb Korea, they tell me that everything will be processed at the end of the month and that my XRP will go into my account then. when i asked why they told me it is the government in KR that is holding all transactions in limbo and that the transactions need to be recorded per government approval. I was like WTF??? Never heard such bullshit in my life.
has anyone else heard this?

Just saw your response. I say they are full of shit and we should sue them. I am looking for a way to contact the media. We need to put some heat on them. Keep calling and bugging them. I am about to.
I have the same issue where my XRP has not showed up at Bithumb. i received the following message to one of my tickets

is the issue Kraken? or is it Bithumb?
So i just sent them a request to send my XRP back to my originating wallet. its been 5 days and i just find this ridiculous

Deposited 75 XRP from Kraken to Bithumb on 1/8 and never received it. Filed an international ticket and Korean ticket with Bithumb and no answer. Their Customer Support is no longer answering their phone. Also filed a ticket with Kraken and no response. The blockchain shows the transaction was successful. Both exchanges are thieving bastards. I discourage anyone from doing business with them. Has anyone been able to get their XRP back?
