This is a scam/ponzi no doubt about it. The signs are all there if you can't see it too bad.

You mean to say steers and queers?  Without the rhyme, the saying kinda sucks.

Texas is really a shit hole. Not sure how Homero can deal with it being used to the northeast .... Nothing but shitty BBQ & strip joints EVERYWHERE... Plus 100 degrees + lol...

I've lived in Houston for a couple years, so I don't concur with your assessment. I've never frequented any strip joints, but have enjoyed a many BBQ at various venues, one named The Whiskey Barrel on the far west side owned by a dude who made his millions in the textile industry. It was a fast food joint served on non-disposable plates by a non-tipped staff, albeit tipping was allowed. The only time I had a poor meal there was when a new staff member cut the brisket with the grain oppose to against it. After fighting the first bite, the meal was promptly replaced. I couldn't tell enough folks about this amazing place.

So he made a decent penny in boiled denims aye?

I'm going through Texas at the end of the month. Maybe I will go a little out of my way and try to get an "interview" from josh.  Wink

Don't stop on your way through Texas. Just roll up your windows, lock your doors and keep driving. Pee in a bottle if you have to. There's nothing to see in that shithole. I lived there for 10 years. Worst 10 years of my life.

What's wrong with Texas? I hear Austin is nice.

The amount of morons who fall for these scams amazes me. Where do you all come from? What goes on in your head? Remembering pirate40, I laughed at these dumb fucks who couldn't do simple math. You smart cookies just keep pouring in like the battle of Stalingrad. Then you lose all your money like an idiot, and you blame it on bitcoin! Yes bitcoin was invented just so you can make money but it doesn't work, satoshi fucked up!

Greed is a bitch, everyone is trying to get on the ship us early adopters got on but it sailed a while ago. When I bought my first bitcoins 4 years ago I never thought I was going to make money or be rich. All I ever wanted to do was buy certain products from a certain web site.

This forum is a blackhole for moron money.

Could of fooled anyone the way they both talk. They sound like clones to me, little homero clones running around.

For sure they are not in compliance, if carmelo is in florida running the company from florida, bank account or not he is breaking the law. He has mentioned several times in HT he is in florida so that's settled. Not to mention I'm sure there are a whole lot of other laws regulating loaning money that they aren't following.

How do we report this?

Is there a separate thread for this whole disaster?

There is this one started by carmelo himself, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1058297.0. They already called him out there. Well I guess I will shit on that thread with more info.

What is the deal with this carmelo guy? He sounds so similar to homero it makes me think they are the same person.

So BTCLend LLC is registered in Delaware but with an address in south florida and a phone number in orlando. I checked sunbiz.org no mention of btclend though. Florida would love to know an out of state llc is operating there without paying fees. Why even register it in Delaware? He puts his name on everything so why hide it when registering the LLC? Perhaps another owner is trying to hide his involvement. If I remember correctly homero liked to register his llc's in Delaware.

I don't get how homero has so many spelling mistakes. I haven't used a browser without spell check in a decade. This is inconceivable!

I've used it and like it. It works through a cellular payment network. When you sign up they verify your address, DOB and name. So you have to give valid information, sometimes the check doesn't work and they ask for scans. They do have low limits now, they used to be higher when they launched. Over all not too intrusive and reasonable fees, I recommend them.

Fuck me this is soooo awesome watching him just have this meltdown it is better than reality TV.

"My own background is one of serious IT, business, networks, security and forensics. I am security cleared and key worker status to nuclear power levels, and I have a knowledge of the bitcoin space that you could only envy, and so when I read your articles, and see the damage you do, and I find no truth in them, it makes me angry as hell. You are an amateur in this industry, but the damage you are doing is far from amateurish. I ran a BBS as early as 1990, opened my first computer service business in 1993, I’ve worked for nearly all the major companies in IT that you’ve ever heard of, and have founded and sold on many companies over the years, so I understand business, accountancy, legitimacy and can spot a scam from 100 metres away. I’ve also understood Bitcoin for 4 years, and the change it will bring to society. I am an ardent socialist. My diverse team have similar and varied qualifications to do what we do."

Shocked  He is like the Navy SEAL of the internet.

He can see a scam from 100 meters away, but he can't see homero emptying his pockets right next to him. He really might have severe mental issues?

After all these years reading this forum, this has got to be the most entertaining story in the crypto world ever. It is almost like a crypto novella, just without the hot Spanish women. The delusional posts on hashtalk.org are so entertaining, these people are on the level of Jim Jones no doubt. I find it so fascinating how these subjects continue to this day OFFER homero more money, he doesn't even ask for it! Can someone please explain the science behind this phenomenon?

Their PR is pretty bad on this forum. He outed someones balance on another thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=660948.msg7450158#msg7450158.

Anything to say about that urwhatuknow? unclescrooge? I know you are responding to people making accusations but that is a little too much shit talking for such a large exchange.

Remember what happened to the last exchange run by a french guy?  Grin Just kidding I love bitfinex and I hope it goes on strong. Please don't tell people how poor I am!

Sorry but bitcoin-trader.biz is a HYIP. Look at the % return its a basic ponzi, they even use shadowscripts. They don't arbitrage at all, just pay you with new money coming in. It is common in the HYIP community to claim they make their money with arbitrage.

Crazyivan, can you tell me how you get fiat in and out of btc-e without taking a loss on the withdraw/deposit fees? I'm assuming that's one of the main exchanges you use to arbitrage. Would you share the other exchanges you use as well?
