If you want to earn more money, it depends on your capital, the more money you have the more money you can earn . It's working like Proof of Stake. More money you owned will give more chance to earn huge money. I would like to suggest you trading is better. Gambling is too risky which you can easily lost your money very fast.

Yes absolutely can. Cause bitcoin for now is a good tool to increase your your earning profits into another level. Like when you're doing this job you can earn this more, and bitcoin is somekind of part-time job for you. And what is the key for successful person, it is the income will decided you're successful person or not.

Re: Should I invest In Bitcoin?

Only if you can afford it. As with any investment, BTC is a risk. Most of us here think it's a risk worth taking, with good potential rewards - but you're talking to people who are on a BTC sub...so you're gonna get a biased answer. Only invest what you can afford to lose, and invest on the assumption that you will lose it.

Saving bitcoin for fun is really what are you thinking for now ? Bitcoin is now a huge economics which can earn much profits so how can it become any kind of entertain at all ? The most Bitcoin owner always focus in one reason when they're holding Bitcoin. It's profits , profits and profits. That why they cost time and health for . So i think there is no fun in here, only business and future purpose.

Re: How do you manage ur emotions?

We all suffer from emotional overreactions. In the heat of the moment we say something to a person we love without stopping to consider the shockwaves. Or we blast off an email and wonder why we didn’t sleep on it before pressing ‘Send’. Our emotions spill over and, by the time they recede, the damage is done.

Re: Dividing your salary.
by
thoham
on 30/09/2017, 14:45:58 UTC
I am just trying to convert all my earnings into crypto now. I exchange them to fiat or spend them when I need it. Otherwise, everything will be in crypto, mostly bitcoin and only sometimes it will be in my favorite altcoins. At least 35-40% of my earnings goes to savings.

This is very dangerous, even you like crypto that much, you need to save some fiat currency so that you don't cry if a major market crash happens ever.
Yes that's true. Don't put all the eggs in one basket, those word always come in my mind when I got my salary in bitcoin/altcoin. I choose to divide my earned in bitcoin in converting the half in fiat and used the other in business for another source of income. It is simply if I put all my money in bitcoin and crash, all my hardship will lose. And to avoid that we need to build another way of earning to secure the future.
Maybe sometimes, when you split your eggs will reduce your profits ? Like you win some at this basket but you lose some at other , so the result is draw, nothing happen just only you're cost time for nothing. So i suggest is dividing salary but not in the same part, you should choose which is the better one to invest more than other which you think it's not good as the main.

Re: Bitcoin in Economics class?

Most empirical evidence tends to show the opposite: Cycles of the standard deviation of relative returns are positively correlated with transaction volume.
Also, in Bitcoin at least, we are not seeing any special increase in liquidity (volume) as price goes up. E.g., in 2013 there were more BTC on exchanges and they were more traded even if fees were typically higher.

Re: Trading alt coins. Best platform.

on 30/09/2017, 14:33:56 UTC
Best platform for exchanging for now is Poloniex , Bittrex with Margin lend but i suggest you not to use that option if you're really not an expert in trading, cause it can hurt your capital really much if you're not success. The next one is liqui.io with variety potiental coins that maybe can make you be consider for a long time. Last one i want to introduce to you is kraken with the outstanding option is the autobuy one which can make you earn really good profit.

Re: Is trading just educated guessing?
by
thoham
on 30/09/2017, 14:07:39 UTC
Yes, trading is educated guessing, meaning you've educated yourself about certain facets of market behavior and are prepared to act when the conditions are met.
For example, you've noticed that over two years' analysis of equities' price behavior following important news reports that whenever a heavily shorted stock breaks through a major previous resistance level it runs another 2% or more 95% of the time. You decide to place standing buy stops above the last major swing high of every liquid stock that has a short interest greater than 20%. That is an educated guess that will likely produce consistent profits for you when combined with prudent risk management principles.

Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply
by

Deflation in the traditional financial ecosystem is a bad thing. Then again, cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin cannot be compared to any other currency in the world, thus making it a rather moot point. It is also a  clear indication of how most economists are stuck in their old ways of thinking. Deflation is often associated with economies that not performing all that well. In most cases, deflation leads to falling prices. If that were to happen to bitcoin, things could go from bad to worse rather quickly.

Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all
by

on 30/09/2017, 13:57:15 UTC
Governments can't monitor many human to human transactions or not "know" how many tomatoes a farmer grows and sells seems to completely ignore the rapid growth of surveillance already happening and the exponential curve of AI in the present and imminent future.
Government assisted by AI can know pretty much whatever the fuck they want, and in some ways already do. Especially when you add in other incoming tech like the rapid development of drones etc.

Re: how to start trading with a very small amount
by
thoham
on 30/09/2017, 13:43:13 UTC
Easier way, with perhaps a fee slightly larger than what the other poster described. Go to coinbase.com Buy bitcoin. There's a limit on the amount that you can buy and have available immediately, anything more than that will be available in a week, but will keep how ever many you buy based on the Current exchange ratio.
After you do that, you need to make an account on an exchange, poloniex is the one with the highest volume, but it's been lagging due to said volume lately /shrug, and you'll use the send function from coinbase to send to your digital address on whatever exchange you pick. It'll be a long string of numbers / letters. And be sure that you're picking the correct coin's deposit address that you're using.

Re: You should never trust banks
by
thoham
on 29/09/2017, 10:39:14 UTC
Yes don't you ever trust in banks. In the 3rd country, your information is absolutely unsecurity, everyone who knows some tricks or has the relationship in bank can easily get every information of you. So bank isn't the good way to hold your money anymore. That's why Bitcoin was born to do that duty for you. Hold your private key and you can back up your wallets everytime you want.

What do you real think? Cause i don't think anyone has enough brave to all in everything in something, specially with volatile Bitcoin. Even Bitcoin is a good investment , spend all the funds are too risky.

Bitcoin basicly is volatile , the price of bitcoin is effected very strong of news, because news effect directly to the investors. So many investors buy bitcoin => bitcoin price up . Many investors sell bitcoin => Bitcoin price down.

Yes , this is a good ideal, this dropping price of Bitcoin is caused of some fucking fake news of Mafia of China plus some stupid CEO that doesn't have Bitcoin. They all want to low the price of bitcoin as much as they can . So they can gather more bitcoin for their own.
