I gave it another shot today via Dwolla but it failed again.

Order ID: 71829e2f-fd66-4359-babf-7d8453823f97

Can you guys put a status on the front page of the site so we know ahead of time if there is going to be a delay?

Edit: Processed!  Thanks!

I know I sent my last message on Friday and I likely won't hear anything until Monday on the fee / exchange rate refunds, but based on the recent feedback I'll be looking for another source for BTC in the future.  Getting your coins "instantly" isn't worth the hassle that the company has been having lately.  I've pretty much written off my $30 loss due to exchange rate.

I received my refund on the price fluctuation!  Problem solved successfully!

I, like the person above me, am curious how BitInstant is going to handle the extreme delay from order placement to order execution.  I saw that Yankee indicated that fees would be refunded but I have heard nothing else on the matter.  By my calculations, I lost ~1.43 Bitcoins as a result of the delay and would like to hear a reason why I should consider BitInstant the next time I would like to do a currency exchange.

Having said all that, I am very impressed at the customer service provided by BitInstant via this forum.

I sent an email to support yesterday but haven't heard anything back.  Mine is showing "Order execution failed!"

Thanks for processing the order, it just went through.  I did a Cash -> Bitcoin Address transfer yesterday around 5PM Eastern.  The Bitcoin / USD price was still below 20.  The amount I would receive was listed as $288.03 ($300 - 4%).  The number of Bitcoins I received just now is 13.41737.  Doing the math, that is using an exchange rate of ~$21.47.  Shouldn't it be using the exchange rate from yesterday at the time I sent the money?  Or am I reading something incorrectly?

People at CVS SUCK! In their computer system, it tells them to type in the amount WITHOUT the fee. So you tell them $100. ZipZap includes the fee, but the CVS employees think there should be an extra fee from them you must pay. I tried explaining to them that the ZipZap fee is included, but they don't understand this. Go to Walmart.

I just tell them that the fee is built into the total amount and there is no separate fee.  They look at me funny for a second, but eventually get it.

I also prefer to use the red phone at CVS instead of having to fill out the paper forms at Walmart.  I'm always worried that the Walmart employee is going to punch in some wrong number and my money goes somewhere else.

Same issue with Dwolla here.

Never mind.  Just received an email that it was fixed!
