Re: Is it still gambling if you're sure you're going to win?

Is this a real thread? If you put money on it, you are gambling. No IFS, ANDS, or BUTS. I was sure Mike Tyson was going to kick Buster Douglasses ass  but guess what, he didn't. There are tons of events in sports where this or that is almost a guarantee, but shit happens and it doesn't go the way people thought it would.

Re: No Amount is Affordable in Gambling
by
yahoo62278
on 24/07/2025, 23:57:03 UTC
We are used to say that a gambler should gamble with an amount he can afford to lose but in the actual sense do we think there is any amount a gambler can afford to lose? When a gambler places a stake what he sees is not the stake but the potential win. This is why when he does not win he panics regardless of how little the stake is and he will always mention the potential win rather than the stake as the amount lost. The gambling system especially sports betting works in a way that as a game plays the value of the stake keeps increasing and what may appear to be what the gambler can afford to lose may rise and become what he can no longer afford to lose and this becomes a source of concern for the gambler if he losses the bet. In fact, if a gambler accumulates the total of what he thinks he can afford to lose he would know that he is losing what he cannot afford to lose. I think that any penny spent on gambling is a money the gambler have decided to sacrifice with the hope of getting a bigger amount and not because he can afford to lose it.

What's your position on this thought?
The bolded part is where I have an issue with your post. If you are panicking about a bet, you likely bet too much and shouldn't be betting any longer as you are probably letting fear drive you in life.

When people say bet what you can afford to lose, they mean you have $20 laying around and if you were to lose it you wouldn't be panicking and scrambling on how to replace it. You can have a little fun without consequences basically.

Welcome to bitcointalk.

I noticed that when creating an account, you can't click to read the terms of service, you can only toggle the agreement button on/off. This is not much of an issue as it's possible to close that pop up and read it from the landing page, but you may want to fix that.

Do you plan on running promotions on bitcointalk? You can reach out to me here or on telegram (@Upgrade00) for help with that or just guidance navigating the forum.
I know you don't mind pushing your services in every single companies thread that pops up, but take the time to look around and you just might find out that they are already running a signature campaign.

Welcome to bitcointalk @Winna good luck with your sig campaign.

Even a simple layup or jump shot frequently missed.  Cheesy
Only if Angel Reese is the one shooting the lay up Smiley  I haven't bet on WNBA really but if books are just giving away money on unders, maybe it's worth a look.

You'll probably hit a long shot eventually if you bet long enough, but will the amount you win from that long shot cover all the long shot bets you placed prior to the win? Likely no, so if you decide betting longshots is the way, just bet small amounts along with other bets so that they might cover your losses along the way.

Likely, it's not his original Birthday. But I won't miss the chance to wish him a Happy Birthday, be it whenever.

Happy Birthday, legend.
Looks like you have to manually enter a date for your birthday so maybe it is his actual birthday? Regardless, happy birthday Hhampuz.

The site the OP is promoting is fake according to https://gamdommirrors.com/ there is no .one on the list of official sites, so OP how did you find the site?

I've checked, and seems that the .one domain shares the same Steam OpenID (authenticator) as the .com counterpart, which is also an official mirror according to their Twitter account

Twitter: https://x.com/gamdom/status/1793267852901851189
Thanks for doing some digging, the link I gave was from 1 of their mods. My bad for assuming the mod was correct.

Before a gambling site could ban your account and restrict you from gambling then there is a reason why such actions was carried out. I would want to know; did you by any means uses VPN to create account on the site or do you have multiple accounts on that gambling site? This are the only thing that casinos highly frown upon and also irregular betting, when they discovered irregular gambling and pattern on their gambling site they would have no options than to strictly ban you from their site.
Last I knew Gamdom allowed VPN users.

It really is a never ending story with those WNBA players. How can you been so far away from reality to demand more money from a business that doesn't make any money, it's crazy. If you look at the allstar game "highlights" alone you can see how bad this product still is, despite the rise of popularity.
Demanding more money for turnovers, airballs and missed layups, yeah right.  Roll Eyes

They are all haters, the way they treat C.C. is just ridiculous. This league is still such a joke, even in Europe you see better (fundamentally clean) basketball.
There's a pretty good number of WNBA players that play in the overseas leagues. Some in Russia, some Europe, and some in Asia. Currently the WNBA doesn't make any money and a lot of the decent players have to go overseas to make any money, but with the new TV deal that will all change. IMO asking for a bigger piece of the pie is the right move. Yes it's because if CC that all this is happening and yes the other players are being petty as hell, on these points I agree 100%, but the owners are gonna raise ticket prices, concession sales are gonna go up, jersey sales, parking, beer, and whatever else they can tack a dollar on to to recoup what they'll be spending.

I watch a game now and then, but it is mostly boring. They jack up loads of 3 pointers(like the NBA) or they're driving for a lay up. Not many dunks, not really awesome defense, just boring basketball with glimpses of excitement.

Re: Favourite 10x games?

Personally if I want to turn a small amount into a quick x profit for fun I do,

10$ into 5-10x I see the most success I have with games like Mines.

I try avoid slot games with low budget, what is your "safest" game for you that you feel lucky on, and have most fun with?
dice by a big margin to any other game.
i have been playing dice for years and as long as i don't get greedy when i'm having a good run, it's the game i won the most money on and is the "safest" for me.

They're all 3 the same thing if you know anything about casino originals, the animation is the only thing different. I personally have had the most success on dice type games though if I need a boost.
the only other difference besides the animation/design is the max payout for each original.
dice have 9900x max payout (some casinos limit it to 99x), i have seen limbo pay up to 1000000x, but not sure about mines as i don't like it or play it often to know.
Mines has an insane 5,000,000+ payout. 13 mines 12 safe spots or the reverse. People have actually hit it as well, but obviously it's super rare and they chase it with 1-5 cent bets.

I don't chase super crazy stuff like 5 million x but I have chased multiple x3000-x9900 on multiple sites since 2012.

Re: Does the novelty wear off?
by
yahoo62278

If you are extremely rich and you can just gamble up to your heart's content, does the novelty of winning wear off? Like would you get tired of gambling since there's really not much risks because you can gamble with any amount and still receive little to no consequences?
If you get to that point, you are probably just gambling trying to find that thrill that you initially got on your first big win. BTW, you will never experience the same thrill IMO. You'll start buying things that you don't need, just walking in a store and impulse buying everything. Start seeing your money disappear and then start gambling again to try and make it back. If you can, you restart the cycle.

Most people don't play smart with their money and look for an investment to keep your money growing.

I like a little mining rush by pragmatic play now and then. It's slots so you're basically praying when you play, but if you can hit a diamond in the bonus a couple times, you'll win 1000x in the bonus. It's not easy but when it happens it's nice. If you like to buy bonuses, the bonus doesn't normally lose a ton on each buy.

Welcome to bitcointalk.org. I am glad to see you guys are not avoiding what some companies might think is a hard question. I like to read a company being honest even if some might not like the answer. Good luck on your journey here.

This doesn't look good on OP's side. Instead of answering users questions he just deleted the ANN and moved it to the archived board. Umm this was unexpected... Undecided
Too bad, they started off so well lol. I did like that they answered the question but apparently they're not a legit casino.

new shill discovered:

10. PX-Z

i am colleting betpanda shills like pokemon. it is a betpanda pokedex. haha
You're a pretty ignorant collector if you are in fact collecting names of people wearing the BetPanda signature. I mean, there's a whole spreadsheet with 21 names on it, there's a manager handling the campaign, and I'm pretty sure that none of these people care if you are discovering them.

If the service starts showing legitimate scam issues the manager will likely end the campaign and the promotion on this forum will be over.

FYI you may as well just go through this section and collect your names for every scam accusation out there. Not sure what you are thinking you'll accomplish, but have fun with your list.

I'm curious about this too, but only the ones that have the best RTP for investors. Remember how predatory BetKing was?

Just-Dice was the best, then YoloDice like you mentioned. Bustabit seems to take 60% of the profit as commission which is also predatory (you take all the risk and they take 60% of the profit?). Worse than government taxation.  Grin

But great question OP, definitely monitoring this thread.
Just-Dice still accepts investors but the site has moved to CLAM gambling instead or DOGE like it used to be. I stop in from time to time and still see people using the site, I think investors get a % based on their investment every few minutes.

Re: How quickly do you forget a loss

I think you ALWAYS are going to remember big games that you lost your ass on, but in general if I lose a bet I am over it by the next day. Refocus and keep your mind on the next game you are looking at, no need to stay upset and ruin the rest of your day.
I don’t know if I am the only one that feels that way but forgetting a game lost is easier said than done especially if good money was staked and the game was close to becoming a win. I don’t let the outcome of a game control my moves but as a human I must feel a level of pain when I lose a bet, I take a little break and hope that my next game plays out well because a win always helps me.
Losing a small amount doesn't bother me much, so I don't try or want to dwell on all losses. It just adds stress and you might make an ignorant bet the next time because you feel the pressure of "needing" to win. You will start losing every bet if you let losses get to you.

There is no gamer that will say they haven’t lost a game at anytime. We have our different staking abilities, I am referring to what you consider your high staking power. Last season was my best season in sport gambling but I had days that i had bitter losses.

I will like to know how quickly do you forget a painful loss and bounce back. I hate losing and after a big loss I will be frank I don’t forget it immediately although I don’t let it define my next game but it takes a while for me to forget a big loss and the best way I forget about a loss is how fast I can have a win in my subsequent games. A win is like an antidote to my sadness after a loss. So how fast do you forget a loss and what can help you in forgetting about it.
I think you ALWAYS are going to remember big games that you lost your ass on, but in general if I lose a bet I am over it by the next day. Refocus and keep your mind on the next game you are looking at, no need to stay upset and ruin the rest of your day.

You might also try to get lucky on a table game, IMO a bigger risk but a run can happen on a lucky shoe or a hand of blackjack.

Since when does a site ask for chicken from KFC? All jokes aside, why was the KYC rejected? holydarkness may be able to help you, but you'll have to wait until he sees this post and gets with his contact.

@holydarkness when you do see this and talk with your contact why don't you mention how shitty their support is and tell them to get a damn clue and fix their system. At this point they should be paying you a weekly wage as you are basically their fucking support.
