Re: Stake.com blocked my account after KYC – $26,370 USDT withheld, no explanation

I see that complaints about Stake are increasing. Let me share the progress on my case.

As I found out in correspondence with Casino Guru, my account was blocked for multi-accounting.

As proof that I supposedly have multiple accounts, Stake apparently uses Binance hot wallets. If you’re depositing from exchanges, I recommend being cautious. There’s no logic to it, but I got blocked for that.

The reasoning goes like this: if you and someone else deposit from an exchange and Binance happens to send funds to both of you from the same wallet, then you’re accused of breaking the rules.

Sounds like nonsense, which Casino Guru also pointed out. So the case is still in progress.

Yes, I also considered these options. But both have nuances:

"For complaints, please note that the GCB does not handle disputes between players and gaming operators. For more information, you can click here."

I wrote to askgambler, but my claim was rejected, and for a far-fetched reason. Allegedly due to the fact that they do not consider complaints related to the casino bonus system.

How is the bonus system related to my complaint? Askgambler support responded that it is not related in any way. But they will not explain why they rejected my complaint.

I understand correctly that by AskGamblers rejected your claim, you're saying that they didn't take your case for mediation for above reason, and that your case was not published due to it? Because I don't think I can find your case in AG.

Have you try CG?

Yes, that’s correct — AskGamblers rejected my complaint, but without giving any clear explanation.
I tried submitting it twice and received only vague responses. The case was never published, and I still don’t know what exactly they wanted me to change.

I’ve already submitted the case to Casino Guru and several other platforms.

But they are still obligated to return all the funds currently held in my account.

They are really obligated to return your funds(deposit amount) but don’t expect that profit will be included since you violated their ToS. They usually have a popup message whenever they update their ToS to remind user to read.

You already mention and acknowledge that this is all about regional issue based on your above post.

Can you confirm if they refund you the deposit?

Thanks for your message.

Just to clarify — I haven’t violated any Terms of Service.

Also, there was no communication from Stake stating that I violated the ToS — no warning, no message, no explanation. Just a sudden restriction after full KYC, and no refund.

As of now, I haven’t received any part of my balance back — not even the original deposit. Everything is still frozen in the account.

I’d be fully open to closing the account and walking away — if only they returned the funds I rightfully own.

Can you show us more screenshots of your discussion with the support. Try to talk other agent and ask for explanation on what exactly you violated to make every clear because your issue looks like you play on restricted country that’s why your account is ban/restricted after KYC.

Follow @holydarkness suggestion to escalate this to CG or AG so that Stake reps will send their explanation properly.

After all documents were submitted, my account was restricted without any explanation. Support has been unhelpful, and compliance is silent. No rule violations were mentioned. I've had successful deposits and withdrawals before this.
Have you checked your email? They usually send it through email.

as AHOYBRAUSE mentioned, where are you from? if you are from one of the country that are restricted from using their platform, then that most liekly the reason why your account was closed.

Hello. Of course. By email, and through the VIP manager, and through the chat. They simply wrote to me that they cannot help, the account is closed forever without the possibility of withdrawing funds

Hello Bitcointalk,

I’m sharing my experience with Stake.com, a well-known crypto casino. On March 5, 2025, my account was blocked shortly after I completed full KYC. At the time, the account held a balance of $26,370 USDT

I submitted:
– Government-issued ID
– Selfie with ID
– Proof of address
– Proof of source of funds

After all documents were submitted, my account was restricted without any explanation. Support has been unhelpful, and compliance is silent. No rule violations were mentioned. I've had successful deposits and withdrawals before this.

I'm posting this here so others are aware and to ask: has anyone else experienced this with Stake.com? Did anyone actually get their funds back?

Happy to update this thread if anything changes.

Guess once important question is, where are you from and what country's address have you verified during the KYC process? They recently banned a lot of players that are from banned regions and circumvent the restrictions via VPN use.
Not saying this is ok but when people register these days, knowingly from a restricted territory, it's kind of their own fault. Seen plenty of accusations in the past week that often had something to do with people coming from those banned regions.
Not saying you did this as well but it might be the reason for your dilemma.

Hello, and thanks for your reply.

Please note that I’ve attached screenshots showing that I successfully completed step 1 and step 2 of the verification process. Step 2 includes ID card + selfie, which clearly confirms my citizenship and country of residence — Kazakhstan.
So, my location was fully disclosed and accepted.

I’d also like to mention that I registered my account on January 9, 2024, long before all these recent region-related issues began.

If Stake no longer wants me as a player — that’s their decision, and I respect that.

But they are still obligated to return all the funds currently held in my account.
