How do you determine your picks?

I believe they simulate the games at least 100 times before hand to create a line that fits within the standard deviation of the juice taken, no?
I'd assume that they run simulations. I may be running more sims than they are running. I've found that the same game at two different books have different lines. They may be off 4 to 5 points. It's at the point now where a book has posted the same game with different lines a month later. The lines are still very weak at times.

Line difference of 4-5 points is huge.  Can you please share the two different sites either here or in private?

4.) Referall Bonuses:  I know a lot of users have had issues that referral bonuses have not been paid as they should (simply quoting people from chat); however I personally used the referally link of my brother, who runs a twitter feed and has been promoting PrimeDice for weeks.

    - I had never registered as a user or played PrimeDice at all prior to using his link and setting up my account. However we work in the same office, on a dedicated IP, although I would think the site would differentiate us as users as I used my own computer and again had never used the site before.

    - After betting personally over 1100 BTC (Im top for the week on Leaderboard) - he has never seen a referall commission for me.

    - He also mentioned his referal count on his affiliate link page lists 20+ referalls, yet only 7 or 8 actually "list" below in terms of names. And out of all these only 500 Satoshis have been paid. I can inderstand his frustration considering he A.) Turned me onto the site, where I have wagered 1100 BTC,  B.) His other referrals dont seem to add up or even tally corrctley, C.) He has done a decent amount of promotion on his twitter feed with 3000 plus followers - all crypto related - and seen zero returns.

Can this be addressed?  I'm wondering if it's an issue of correctly being linked or another outside issue.  I could only imagine the frustration of thinking you're linked properly and then not receive a single satoshi after crazy betting volume like this.  1100BTC * 1 % * 20% = 2.2BTC ?

Can you please help verify this rule section:

Minimum and maximum bet amounts on all events will be determined by Nitrogen Sports and are subject to change without prior written notice. Nitrogen Sports also reserves the right to adjust the limits on individual accounts. For bitcoin users the max bet limit is 10 BTC and the max payout for a single bet slip (including parlays) is 25 BTC. For real money users, the max bet limit is $1,500 USD and the max payout for a single betslip (including parlays) is $100,000.00 USD

a) Does the 10BTC max bet limit apply to all betting events including props and alternative lines?

b) What constitutes changing of the maximum bet limits?  For example, if one were to implement a martingale betting system, how can one be assured that he'll be able to follow through without the risk of being limited at any given time?

Thanks in advance.

I'll ask again (I think 3 times is enough for me to be clear about what trust rating to give you here):

So are you going to pay me the agreed amount or not?

you have found a bug, but we did not have to pay you for it, it was our gift to you for your help.We asked how much you want and you're asked 1 btc, we have added it and you always withdrawn. After that you have wrote that You saw at withdraw form was written 1 hour but there was written 24 Isn't that lie?
Further it was found out that you have a your own game that is our rival. And after adding chat you know that more your game is not better than our and that's why you still continue to lie.

About your withdrawn I told you  Bring us your personal apology for lying upon us put an honest ratings about us and you will receive your remaining gift.

If I see "1 hour" written in one place, and don't notice "24 hours" written in another place, then mention that I saw "1 hour written", that isn't a lie, no.

I haven't lied about your site.

If you had any idea about the Bitcoin gambling space you would have heard of my site a year ago. It has been up since June 2013. It shouldn't come as a surprise to you that I own a site. And it's irrelevant. I found a bug, reported it, agreed a bounty with you, agreed not to withdraw it for a few days while you got your bankroll in order, then tried to withdraw it and you refused.

That's an abuse of trust, and is why I'll be leaving negative feedback for you if you don't remedy the situation.

You said 24 hours, so I'll give you 24 hours.

We have not yet made a decision about you, I still think you're a liar. if during these 24 hours, we do not receive the deserved apology, then you will be deprived of our gift to, if you will act according to conscience you will receive it.

Get fucked you dickweed.....

I'd recommend you guys take this to Private messages.  Hopefully you can resolve something there and if not, you can make a post about it later once a decision has been finalized.

People are coming here just to bash OP based on Just-dice loyalty and it is starting to get out of control.

For example, this guy registered a brand new account for the sole purpose of calling OP a dickweed.  Roll Eyes

I really hope you guys clear up misunderstandings.  It's a really nice and unique site, but i am in agreement that if OP goes back on his word, it's chances of success will be minimal.

Lol why would you lock funds on a gambling site as gambling addict :p but help from family/friends could be good. Could ask for mental help or get a 2 of 2 multisig addy for ur savings where ur friend/family needs to confirm any transaction. If you feel the need to gamble, send it to that address.

I was under the impression that he felt stuck and wanted to get some of his bitcoin back.  He won't be able to do this by continue betting, but he has a great chance at slowly recovering his losses by putting it on the winning side with a positive house edge while at the same time blocking himself from using those funds to gamble at a negative one.

A huge part of gambling addiction is the feeling of being lost and hopeless; trying desperately any way you can to get back in the positive.  I was trying to provide a way that may help in that respect.

Initially you say that you receive from us an email with your password supposedly open (although we encode all the passwords and can not find them) and we do not send you emails when registering.

I was talking to inkha about his review site. I made that clear by quoting the post I was replying to in my reply.

Now you blame us that that we lied about the time of the withdrawal, being inattentive. Please excuse us, but we start to doubt your honesty.

I'm not accusing you of lying.

YOu found a bug, thanks for you for that, we were not required to pay for it but nevertheless we did not haggle with you and we have added to your's balance as much as you asked, despite we have had very great difficulties with the bankroll at that moment , and  we remind you that you said that will not withdraw them at all, as you play, so waiting 24 hours for you will not be a big problem.

I don't mind waiting 24 hours.

I would suggest however that if a 0.5 BTC withdraw is going to cause you problems then you shouldn't be offering a 100x payout with a 0.1 BTC max bet. That allows people to win 9.9 BTC per bet. What are you going to do if someone wins that much?

Not a problem for honesty users and deceitful competitors can wait, the more we do not break our rules.

User dooglus dismisses deceitful rumors about our site, besides, he left us a dishonest assessment on the site http://bitcoingambling.reviews/ballonbit-com/ and this is after we gave him 1 BTC to his balance for his help. We did not understand the reason for his actions but for today revealed that he owns the site competitor us and the truth came to light. So we reserve the right to pick up our gift back, which he did not have time to withdraw (0.5 BTC) because of new circumstances. If you believe that we have been treated unfairly please type your opinion here to change our mind.

First, I'd like to say that I enjoy your site, think it has great potential and want to see it succeed.

With that being said, I really think you need to step back and give this a little more thought before making any rash decisions.

Yes, Dooglus has opened a new site, however I have no reason to believe he needs to smear any other sites and he's only competing against your site indirectly as he is only operating in Clams (an alt-coin that takes some hoop-jumping to play for actual bitcoin).

If Dooglus had malicious intent, I think he would have quietly exploited your code and destroyed your wallet instead of bringing it to light so that your site is able to move forward.

Please also note that I do not know Dooglus and have brought some concerns to his attention about his site as well (that he has responded to in his just-dice thread).

I think this is more of a problem of miscommunication. The review site that was mentioned here had a few flaws, one of them being passwords being emailed (that you mistook as your site being accused of this) and the inability to edit the reviews without providing new scores.

I am speculating here, but I believe Dooglus gave you a low trust score not because he thought that you couldn't be trusted, but because you are a relatively new site, you are not well known in the bitcoin community, and there's not enough experience or history to really base a good trust rating off of.

Trust is earned and I think you have the opportunity to show that you deserve it.  I can only imagine the frustrations of being a gaming site operator and Dooglus can probably share a few stories with you, but going back on your word will never fix this issue and permanently damage your reputation.

If u block urself u can unblock urself ... Nothing helps Cheesy . U just have to say no to gambling . Like i did some time ago Smiley .

Best way is to setup 2fa on the phone and throw it into the nearest river ... problem solved : )     -beta1

Even this wouldn't help. No amount of blocks you put into place either yourself or by the site a determined or addicted gambler would easily just find ways around it. The person in question just needs to learn restraint and determination (though it's not easy).

If you set up the 2fa on a trusted friend or family member's phone with all of your funds locked inside, you won't have access to your funds unless you talk to that person and retrieve the key from them.

It won't stop you from gambling on a new account, but you won't lose what you've put into the first 2fa account.

Hey, just wanted to say hi and I lost 0.6 more on PD today.. Totaling 15 BTC in 2 weeks.. What the... Any advice how to stop? PM me. ty.

It seems like you feel stuck and are hoping for some type of recuperation of bitcoin funds, but no matter what you do to try this you keep losing.

You have to understand that you cannot fall into the gambler's fallacy (the belief that because you're running under expected value means that if you keep betting, the expected value will even out over the long run).

My best suggestion is that you instead lock your bitcoin into the investment side, set up the proper 2 factor authentication and if you do not trust yourself to keep these funds there to have the 2fa account set up on the phone of someone you absolutely trust.  This way you'll be operating at a positive edge rather than a negative one and should (not guaranteed) be able to recover some of your lost funds slowly over time.

If you don't have any more funds, I'd strongly suggest just quitting gambling outright.

You should never gamble more than you can afford and never play when you're no longer having fun.  I know that accepting a loss is hard to process, but chasing often leads to digging a hole that you can never get out of.

If you ever need to talk to someone about problem gambling, I can point you in the proper direction for good solid resources or will help you myself.

I wish you all the best.

Re: Just-Dice.com Relaunched! With CLAM!
by
CoinTheCoin
on 07/12/2014, 15:31:51 UTC
Here are a few of my concerns:

a) There is no richlist available to my knowledge.  We have no idea how many people were privy to the inside information that Just-dice was going to solely feature clams and we have no idea how many coins the top holders have and/or what their intentions are for the coin either.

b) People are being asked to copy and paste their private key into a PUBLIC chatroom.  It's not hard to believe that users will not understand the instructions, mistype and reveal their private keys openly with funds still inside of them.  This is not OK.  Dooglus seems to get away with it because he has a spotless record, but what if this becomes common practice in the bitcoin gaming scene?  Scamming gaming operators will have a field day!  Please be EXTREMELY cautious and protective with your private keys!!!!

c) There is no way to tell at this moment what will happen when Clams inevitably gets paired with FIAT.  Will Just-dice close down and then it becomes a free for all sell off of clams?  How can we accurately speculate the stability of Clams?  The order book is extremely thin right now.  There are several hypothetical situations that do not play out well for users if they buy-in heavily into clams.

Final thoughts:

Just-dice has always been a great reputable site ran by a very competent and trustworthy operator (Dooglus), but I highly suggest that users do not gamble for high amounts of bitcoin value as there's many unanswered questions and high levels of risk.

If you want to play for fun, mess around with a trusted gaming site, and are not too concerned with financial risk, then by all means I think Just-dice is one of the best places for this.

Not an operator ... but you sound pretty much like Smiley

1- I gave all explaination about the lost balance due to disconnection, they admitted the technical issue but .... no actions for a month now

2- I am playing in almost all Bitcoin Casino and I never had any issue with the display of betsoft games
Check Betsoft Gaming website and you will understand what I mean about the display of the games Winkhttp://www.betsoftgaming.com/slotscubed/GoodGirlBadGirl.html
I contacted the support many times but they just say we will forward it to the game provider ... the issue is not with the game provider

3- For a non-operator you are well informed Wink
I don't care if they manage one or hundreds of casinos but it is not normal to have a Live Chat discussion on 2 different website at the same time  Huh Huh Huh

*condensed*

I just like to keep on top of all things bitcoin gaming related and see what its consumers have to say and think.

1 - The best solution I can think of is to contact user Bitcoincasino.io (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=207035) via PM and send him your username on the site, time that it happened, and bet ID's if any.  I'm sure you will get a better response from him as he probably has a more effective way of contacting the right people rather than their support team emailing around to find a solution.  I agree that this is something that should be taken seriously and looked into as soon as they can.

2 - No real comment here.  I don't know the technical details of the site nor any Betsoftgaming sites.  Again, I'd reach out to user Bitcoincasino.io and he can probably take you through the display options.

3 - This is normal for many skins and white-label casinos.  I don't think it presents any security risks or any wrong practice.

Re: ★★★★★ My NBA expert picks: Subscription begins Dec. 5th ★★★★★
by
CoinTheCoin
on 05/12/2014, 17:37:55 UTC
There have been several fiascos on this site with people paying for subscriptions - I've seen people lose a lot while being "promised" by the person making the picks they would be positive ev at the end of the week.  I've seen people just get shafted when they stop making picks too after they get a few subs or they start losing bets.

In other words guys, if you paid this guy for picks, it's not going to end well...I promise.

In terms of getting shafted, that will not happen.  I'm not a scammer, lol.  In terms of winning or losing, I can't promise winning but I am fairly confident I will win.  A lot of paid services lose after the vig, and I'm probably going to be winning after the vig.  We'll see.  Stay tuned bud.

If there are issues or questions about anything, I would be willing to stand in as an escrow for membership fees between xiaoxiao and the customer.  If Xiaoxiao also would like, I can help track his bets for him on a google shared spreadsheet, please refer to Stayeduptolate's thread where I do this service for him to see a sample of what the spreadsheet would look like.  My payment would come in the form of free sports picks as long as they are put out.

Please let me know if your interested xiaoxiao.

+1

This would go a long way in reassuring customers... especially if an escrow is held for the full month's period before being released.

As it stands right now, it's pretty hard to keep track or verify your bets.  Working with DebitMe will help keep your thread organized and make it easier for customer interaction.

From reading some of your posts, it seems that you're very passionate about basketball and definitely have some knowledge about the sport.

You've mentioned that you go over and study previous game tape.  Can you take some time and provide some in-depth game analysis that includes what you saw that reconfirmed your thoughts about efficiencies or inefficiencies of offensive and defensive gameplans and matchups?

Are these capped games based mostly on observational analysis or do you take into consideration line movement, betting volume, and history as well?

I still don't understand your argument of parlays over straight wagers however.  Usually gains are made by making multiple +EV (positive expected value) bets over the course of a long period.  If it gets to the point of hedging out the last legs of the parlays, I believe this should be avoided as it is widely believed to be -EV unless you're working outside a proper bankroll.

Regardless, I wish you luck in your endeavours.  Hope you have a great season Smiley

The worst Casino and Support ever.
I am having the same issues for a month and the support never answered back to me

1- Website goes down every few minutes so I loose my previous and winnings.
2- The game display is not good, it is all squeezed or I can't play because I dont see the button
3-Today I was able to see my Live Chat on another Casino at the same time  Huh Huh Huh https://bitcasino.io/ and here [urlhttps://bitcoinbet.eu ]https://bitcoinbet.eu [/url]

*condensed*

I am not an operator, merely a curious spectator.

1 - Can you explain this a bit more?  Are you saying that the website goes down mid gameplay and that it causes you to lose in the process?

2 - I haven't experienced this problem before.  Are you sure your resolution settings are ok?  Maybe posting your specs to the live chat will lead to them assisting you in fixing this.

3 - Both of these websites operate under the same platform and have the same live agents.  I don't think this should be viewed as a negative gripe.  I would much rather deal with agents that are experienced with the problems that might arise from playing the same games.
