I generally do both, depends on the situation.
If I'm exchanging a large amount of crypto (say BTC) to another (say ETH) then I use Binance, the best exchange in my opinion.
But if the amount is small, to lower the fees or exchanging to fiat (say Payeer or PM) I use instant exchanges at the best rates from Bestchange.

And where did I say don’t use Coinbase to exchange? Believe it or not, most of the beginners in crypto use Coinbase to store their crypto-currencies. I personally live in a country where all other features of Coinbase is blocked. I can't trade, can't buy or sell on the platform. The only thing I can do is use their site as a wallet to enjoy free transactions between users. That's it.
If you can use other features, use it. Just don’t store coins for a long term. That's my point.         

This was actually the case for me. But after my funds were locked a month ago, I thought this can't be the way to store coins anymore. 

Coinbase holds almost 98% of their funds in cold wallets so it's less error prone to get hacked. You may get your funds back if you are hacked. But still, there's literally no good reason to store any funds on any exchange in my opinion. Why would somebody risk their funds? And KYC, locking gambling money, the app could also be a downside for them.

If you post meaningful and relevant things and try to help others you will get merits. To do that you need to have enough knowledge. You can gather that from Google, even from this forum. Read more, learn more, post less, make good posts. That's it.
If you had read the posts in different corners of the forum, you would've got that in mind. You mostly do bounty spam. How do you expect to get merits for those?

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. If they stopped gambling at the point they won big, they might've survived their crypto. Setting goals while gambling can also help minimize losses.

Did you read the post? I talked about Coinbase as a wallet not an exchange. And if you don't use Coinbase then you literally didn't know about these problem. What I wrote are the truth. If you're surprised, I have nothing to do about it.

I think I have enough control. In my opinion, while gambling, it's not the method that gets you. It's the urge to win a substantial amount. I started gambling with only $12 and have won more than $600 with that initial investment. But I took month to get there. More than 600 USD pure profit. It's all about controlling your urge. If it's a bad day, just stop and try again tomorrow, eventually you'll end up with good gains.

You should be more concerned about exposing Private Keys than Public Keys. Your private key is the thing that's sensitive. You can lose your funds if you leak your private key.

Not sure about Tether, but you can use Electrum to store bitcoins.

Edit: Just saw Exodus can store both BTC and USDT. Have a look.

If you mean something like a blog/channel/streaming service by the word 'school' then I'd say written chapters are the way to go for me. Because videos are not that much of in-depth companion to anything. A well-written book can answer almost all of your questions. But books get outdated too soon. So if it's like a blog, it's easy to keep everything up-to-date. So, yeah, if I find well written posts/chapters anywhere, I sit back and read. This works for me as I am not that much of a visual learner.
This is the main reason I came back on the forum. Lots of quality posts/guides to read.

Actually that's the whole point here. Some people aren’t reading the thread quite well. Some maybe didn't simply understand the things.

I've registered more than a year ago. Wasn’t really active. I was aiming to do some bounty related work here. But recently, during the art contest, I went over the forum and saw I lacked a lot of knowledge about bitcoins, blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general.
